Today we visited Cambridge from Mississauga.Roaming around downtown and suddenly we saw "Layers Of Joy" cake shop. We went into the shop & saw so many indian flavours of cake & patties. We ordered Noodle Patties, Alu Patties & Panner Patties & Gulabjamun Shots. All of items were very very tasty & it remind us flavour of kolkata. Here in Canada after 2years first time we ate kolkata type patties. We really liked it. Thanks Layers Of Joy.

Wow! I am so glad that finally they have opened their bakery! Super cute place with amazing indian style cake and shots. The staff was also super nice and welcoming. We visited them on their opening day with our two toddler girls. We loved everything here. While gulab jamun cake is something I live on, but when I tried other stuff, they were mind blowing too. They took our picture and offered complementary rasmalai shots. Good luck with your new endeavor.Definitely recommend a trip!

Heaven is perfect word for there desert. I never had such fresh and delicious desert since ages. I tried many desert joints in GTA but none are comparable with them. My friend introduced us to it and we travelled all the way from Toronto to have it and it was worth it. Hope they open a outlet in Toronto soon or atleast anywhere in GTA.

Amazing indian desserts ???? Tried the falooda, fruit and gulab jamun shots. My fav was the gulab jamun one ???? also had the aloo and noodle puff that were mouth watering. can't wait to try everything else????

Today, I met a very creative chef Maneesha and tried the treats she is making. Kudos to this young entrepreneur who wants to start a business and making products which she truly believes in. It is a clear fusion of west and east sweet and flavor choices. As long as I am okay for a chain and fine to try something different, it's the place to go. it's worth driving to downtown Cambridge and see Maneesha's magic.

I was visiting a friend in Cambridge and was trying to find something sweet to take along. Stumbled upon this place and boy what a discovery this was. They have some amazing variety of cakes i had never heard of. Rasmalai cake, gulab jamun cake, thandai cake etc. Though i did not get a chance to try everything i must say that the rasmalai shot (smaller form of the cake) and veg puffs were both truly amazing. Wish i lived closeby so i could go here regularly.

Happened to walk by on opening day when they were giving away 100 "shots" of cake for free... who doesn't like free cake? But boy, it was so delicious!! Different kind of flavor, not overly sweet. Friendly staff. We'll be back to find out if the other cakes taste as good as they look ... and as good as the free sample we got.

A newly opened place but it was worth the visit. They specialize in fusion cakes and they taste heavenly. We tried the paneer puffs too and they were very good. Tasted like what we get in India. The lady there was very well spoken and seemed genuinely appreciative of her customers. Will defenitely return for more in future.

Found this gem on our trip to Canada while strolling Cambridge downtown and were taken on the trail of deliciousness like never before. Such a creative twist to the most authentic flavors and a treat to the eyes. We tried thandai shots , rasmalai muffin, rabri falooda shots and rose &nuts glass... all were outstanding. Wish we could extend our stay and visit this place more often . Will make another trip from Michigan , USA to try other treats

I tried the rasmalai shot, rabdi faluda shot and gulab jamun shot (not in the picture as I finished it before clicking picture..lol).. perfect dessert..flavourful and absolutely delicious ..enjoyed every bit of it..and indeed they were layers of joy to me!! I liked the gulab jamun shot the best.. would definitely visit again and try new flavours :)

Ordered the motichoor rabdi cake for my husband's birthday this weekend. The cake and the rabdi on top looked really good but the rabdi had no flavor or thr right texture. The sponge tasted really good but the bottom layer was completely sunken by the weight of the filling and the rabdi on top. Motichoor flavour was great but overall the cake was not worth the $60.00.
