I usually go there to purchase pasties. I have bought traditional and corned beef pasties among other baked goods. Their baked goods are excellent and very tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend British Pride Bakery.

Mark Smith

They have a lot of stuff that I hadn't seen in years.

Beautiful stand at St Jacobs market. I have been a 5 minute drive away from your store since you opened and only discovered you after seeing you at the farmers market this weekend. So very happy to have found you after all of the other British/Scottish bakeries in the area are either shutting down or going downhill so to speak. I will be a new regular at both the market and your Hespeler Road store. The potato bread was marvellous, I haven't had anything like it since my younger years in Scotland and the Scottish pies were equally as good, I can't wait to try more goodies from your menu. Highly recommended - Cindy L.

Love this store but was very upset today . I have to travel a hour and a half to get to the store and I checked online before I left today and online it said they where open until 5 . I got there at 4 : 20 and it was closed . Upset was a understatement . Three hour round trip for nothing . Nice that you changed the times on the doors but maybe you want to change your times online too .

Mike Willis

Fast friendly service and their tatie scones are the best in the area!

Went in a week ago. Was treated very abruptly. Chalked it up to covid! When I asked if I could mix and match the cornish pasties and cheese pies, was told no, even though they are both 4 for $10. So I didn't buy them. I sent in my husband and told him to ask for same. He was allowed to mix and match. I am a visible minority, my husband is white. Won't be taking my family business here!

Rosetta Stabile

Amazing food, I love the scones, so fresh and tasty, short bread so good. Breads are all good ancient grain is my favourite. I have enjoyed everything I tried here.

The few baked goods that I picked up here were delicious, fresh and baked in house. If it wasn't for the slow service I would definitely be giving it a 5 star. If it were busy I could understand but the cashier was more interested in writing an email than cashing out her two paying customers. I hope to be back soon and have a better experience with their customer service.

Brilliant Quality food. Extremely Clean.. I love BPB.. thanks

Went to get some Christmas goodies for stockings. Great selection and couldn't leave without buying their delicious pies.

Absolutely terrible! The Melton mowbray pork pie was disgusting and not a melton mowbray, as was indicated. The sweets I bought were stale and past their best before dates and the other pastries- sausage rolls and meat pies (steak & kidney, steak & mushroom) were also stale and tasted like cheap meat paste. I will never buy from this place again and suggest you shop somewhere else!

I drive to Cambridge every Saturday from Burlington to get my pasties, breakfast pies and scotch eggs! I’m going to miss the shop when the new one opens in Burlington (right around the corner from me) but I’m sure I’ll love it just as much!

Alistair Nichol

Love this shop. New location has a lot of favorites from GB. Well worth a look.

Jim Pratt

Great fresh baked goods plus grocery items from the UK that I can't find anywhere else, and all at a reasonable price, in some cases half of what Amazon wants. A little taste of home - I love this place!

Amanda Y

Love the new location and all my goodies!

Purchased 4 scotch beef pies. Very tasty, son and I did enjoy them. Odd question, no tax was applied to the ten dollar amount. Asked the girl why no tax?, she really didnt know why. Dont get me wrong, no tax is good tax! Just going????.

Cameron Ellis

Great shop, great products and very helpful staff.

Ira Cee

Love the baked goods! Always a good treat!

Well, I dont like to give bad reviews, but here I am doing so. But its nasty in there. I had a muffin tainted with an onion. Everything was stale and looked as if it was there for awhile. Never will I give my support unless there is an improvement.

rod lee

Friendly staff, good selection of tasty products. Clean, neatly laid out store

What a truly hidden gem in Cambridge! Full of imported snacks and goods, I was so happy to find English Dairy Milk Buttons (my favourite!) Jams, crisps and custards are also found here. There's an assortment of frozen meats in the back, as well as cold drinks. I picked up a loaf of Scottish bread, which was SO soft and moist - I had a plain slice in my car because I was excited by how good the bread felt and it tastes DELICIOUS just on it's own, highly recommend. The chicken curry pastry is also so tasty, I am impatiently planning my next visit to try the other types. The store itself is basically spotless and maintained very well. The woman who checked me out was pleasant friendly. My only regret is ruining wonderbread for myself after having their Scottish bread.

Rod Henderson

We really like this Bakery, their meat pies and Potato scones are the best.

This place is fantastic. Excellent British fare including sweets imported from the UK. Also love their black pudding & haggis patties and they have some legit potato scones. I'll be going back for their freshly made, in-house meat pies.

Ani Ohevet

Clean, nice store, big verity of Cadbury's chocolates. Lots of freshly baked goods. Big window overlooking the kitchen .

Leslie Hohmann

There is no pricing available in store, nothing is listed! And Then when you get up to the register its a guessing game to how much it will be?

Linda Goodfellow

A great variety of UK products. Found mushy peas that I couldn't find in three grocery stores in the UK!

Bill Watts-Lay

I always buy the Jumbo sausage rolls as they taste just like ones in the UK. Have also enjoyed the Cornish pasties and steak & kidney pies. This is the only place in Canada that I have found can make proper pastry. The new store has bigger choice and you have to have a good biscuit with tea. The lady who served me was very nice and I have now become a regular. Happy bank manager, not so happy wallet !????

Kathleen Scott

Martin Schneider

Their baked goods have the best pastries! Flakey and delicious! Worth the trip from Mississauga!

Mr. “SinMinister”

I like this little British Bakery. Always a pleasant experience. Plenty of baked goods to choose from and many different grocery items and confectioneries. The owner is wonderful and always gives my son some special attention. Makes the trip to the shop enjoyable! We are returning customers when in the area.

Luke Cudmore (Matax)

Great baked goods but the grocery selection here could be improved, they are often sold out of alot of the British grocery goods.

Emma Atcheler

Very unsatisfied with $1-50 service charge for purchases under $10-00 when using a debit card. This is the cost of doing business today and should be incurred by the business.

Julia K

Great little store - lots to choose from! My husband is from Scotland and he gets all of his hometown treats from here! (He says the square sausages taste just like home!)

NowLocal TV

Amazing, authentic baking produced in Scottish and U,K. traditions. Plus a wide range of sauces, preserves, chocolates, crisps and other sweets you can't just get anywhere. PLUS Irn bru. Scones, pies both sweet & savoury, and home made breads which delight...and of course, friendly service.

Tracey Parfect

Fantastic pies and great selection of British Christmas chocolate. Very friendly staff.

Positives: I enjoyed their plain and blueberry scones. They were moist, and they don't try to add any other flavours to them, which I liked. The girl working there was masked with a cloth mask; I was glad that it wasn't just a face shield. The hand pies' pastry is flaky and nice. They seemed to be following all of the Covid-19 protocols like limiting customers in the store, encouraging distancing, and providing sanitizer, and plastic shields at the food counters and even near the entrance - great work! Negatives: I didn't see any Devon cream to go with their scones. Also, their buns were the worst I have ever purchased. They were dry, tasteless, and burnt tasting (I didn't want to make another stop somewhere else just for buns, which is why I purchased them). Zehrs' buns would have been better. ???? We threw out the leftover buns. Also, their cheese and onion pie filling for their hand pies tasted like cheap, frozen, cheese pierogi filling from Zehrs, and it was mostly tasteless. The filling tasted processed. I was hoping to find somewhat of a substitute for the amazing cheese, potato, and onion hand pies (at the Handpie Company) that I had in PEI; I certainly didn't.

Brady Samson

Love this place really surprised with the amount of stuff you have in the shop this year! I was told you even had even more in Burlington (I didn't even know you had a store there and I drive to Cambridge once a month from Hamilton!!) I went yesterday and was amazed. I will still stop in at Cambridge from time to time but having your stuff closer to home is perfect! Lovely shops!

So nice go have a taste of my homeland in Canada. The baked goods are absolutely amazing!! We loved the pork pies at Christmas. I wasn’t able to get everything from the UK because of covid when we my fiancé was there in November. Was so happy to have our favourites from British Pride Bakery. I just saw on their Facebook page they have the Easter stock!! Easter Eggs from the UK are the best, so happy to have a place here that I can buy them. It costs an arm and a leg to order them from the uk. Will gladly pay the price at British Pride Bakery for them. Very well priced items if you know how much it costs to import/ship the shelf products. Lovely staff too, was very easy to pre order pork pies!

In the prkg lot & took a chance. Small Steak Pies last time were lacking. This time the 3 Scotch Pies didn't have enough meat filling to fill 11/2. Didn't even reach or fill the base of the crust.
