Tasse bakery is definitely a treasure here in Calgary. They offer the most amazing assortment of sweets both Mediterranean and western. Their knafeh is to die for and their baklava is truly made with quality nuts and ingredients. My mouth is watering just writing this review! When I want to have a nice Lebanese breakfast and sweets I come to Tasse bakery.. One of the cleanest restaurant in the city. They always have fresh and tasty food. Samira and the girls are really professional and friendly, they serve you with a welcoming smile and explain to you any questions you have. The fact I drive an hour and fifteen minutes to have a delicious breakfast at this place is more than enough proof that you will never regret eating here. You will always have my service.

If there was 100 stars I would have given this place 100 stars. Went there yesterday and it was my first time ordering. The two young ladies helping me were so patient and sweet. Even though it got really busy but they kept their smile and amazing customer service on. Now let’s talk about the dessert which was OUTSTANDING, DELICIOUS, and FRESHLY PREPARED. Not too sweet which is what I like and it was just AMAZING. If you haven’t tried their dessert then you’re missing out.. This is my go to place from now on. This place is amazing. I love Arab sweets in general but this place really puts love and effort into all their products. From their “manakeesh” (pita sandwiches) to their knafe (arab sweet) everything is a joy. I stop in whenever I’m in Calgary for their Halawat al Jibn and I’m never disappointed!

Having never been to a Turkish bakery before nor tried most Turkish desserts I really enjoyed the food here, and I would absolutely visit more often if it were more convenient for me. Their cheese Knafeh is excellent. At the first bite you're hit with the warm fragrance of pistachios, something I've never tasted before. The crumbly cake on top with the chewy cheese underneath provides a unique mixture of textures. Not too sweet but still rich and filling. I also tried their chicken Manaeesh with cheese. It tasted fresh, the flat bread was warm and crispy, the filling inside was flavorful. Price for everything is also quite reasonable.

I have tried some of their sweets but not everything is good. Their Kunafeh is average and another sweet I recently tried which were some pan cakes filled with cream and topped with pistachios and rose water and sugar syrup. The pan cake with cream were totally bland unless you put some syrup, which is a generic syrup for different type of their sweets.

Best place for Lebanese desserts and sweets in Calgary. The sweets taste really good, the staff is very helpful and welcoming. We ordered kunafe tray in advance for an event and the family was really impressed with its taste and authenticity after reheating it. Totally reminds me of the kunafe back home. It’s price is very reasonable too compared to different kunafe stores.

Drove from the other end of the city to have Manakish on Sunday morning and unfortunately they couldn’t make it for us as they only have same oven to bake the sweets and manakish…sadly, it was utilized for the sweets at that time..we left site very dissatisfied and disappointed..my suggestion is to have a plan B when this kind of things happen..

Honestly, after trying the Baklava and other sweets I was amazed. Not TOO sweet and packed with so much flavour. The variety is also amazing, something that isn’t common for a lot of other Arabic bakeries. Haven’t had a chance to try the savoury items, but will definitely give those a try if I’m ever in the area. Great stuff would most definitely recommend!

It is about time we get a place that specializes in middle Eastern sweets, instead of a restaurant that sells sweets on the side. It is like a Willie Wonka and the Kunafa Factory. The desserts are amazing. Lol they should come with a warning that's says, High Addictive, user discretion is advised :) I highly recommend, and I will be back again, and again, and again. Ps. +1☆ for the food, it was pretty good. +1☆ for the price, reasonable and comparable to other arab bakeries. -3☆ for the girl behind the counter, who, after over a year of corona, still cant seem to comprehend that your mask MUST be worn OVER YOUR NOSE. She was reaching into coolers and serving people the whole time I was there. I really hope management addresses this and that the worker starts to take corona seriously. Disappointing, and I wont be back.

We initially came here for the kanafa, which did not disappoint. The customer service from Samira and the girls was beyond wonderful and amazing. The bakery is insanely clean and organized. The girls were helpful in recommending places to go to (I’m not from Alberta) and their favourite sweets. The kanafa is the best I’ve tasted in all of Canada (and I’ve tried a lot). We ended up going back the next day to buy more desserts and spent over $300 which was well worth it. We also tried the manakeesh and were not disappointed, yet again. The thickness of the bread is perfect, along with the flavour of each option they have. We will definitely be coming here again whenever we visit Alberta.

Great Lebanese pastries. Their knefe and halawet el jebn are a favourite in our household. They also have a coconut cookie which I used to have when I was back home in Lebanon and it is DELISH!!! I don’t think I have ever visited Tasse without buying that coconut cookie. Also, if you’re ever craving something savoury, try any of their mana’eesh. Trust me, you will not regret it!!!!

The best Fatayer/Manakeesh in the province. They use whole wheat flour to make them. The sweets are also freshly made and very good. The washrooms are very clean and the staff and super friendly.
