Went for the first time and had delicious ensaymadas and ube crinkle cookies. The staff is very nice and offered free tastes of their baked goods. I had a taste of their sylvanas and am going to have to come back and get them soon! So good. A wonderful Filipino bakery.

Ube macapuno is so yummy!! Tasted like red ribbon’s. Their sansrival is pretty good too. Nice creamy taste but not too sweet! Definitely our favourite Filipino bakery!

Wow. Such a wonderful place. I was looking for a last minute birthday cake and found this place. Their selection of pastries are great. I got the Mango and cashew nut cake the first time. Great and rich flavor. The next time I got the green "Asian Vanilla" for my son's birthday. Great place.

Ordered a cake 5 days in advance. Went to pick up today and it was a frozen cake. Very disappointed as I wanted a fresh cake with fresh fruit and cream for my daughter’s birthday. Cake was put in a box that was too small, very embarrassing presentation. For $40 I expected more.

Came here to get a cake to celebrate my girlfriend's graduation and it was amazing!! Absolutely loved the Ube cake!! The flavour was amazing and everyone enjoyed it! The cake was simple and beautiful and reasonably priced. Didn't need to be overly extravagant and the Ube flavour was fantastic!! Would definitely come here again to order a cake and would highly recommend others to come here as well!!

Our family loves stopping by for a treat on a walk and we always get our treats for gifting and special occasions here and are always THRILLED! We happily recommend Purple Yum to everyone we can :)

Found this place as a last minute alternative- My family and I were blown away. We ordered the mango cake and it was just the right amount of sweetness, the cake was most and light and the flavors were so well balanced. The kids loved it too. Customer service was exceptional. Will be back ❤

Just walking around the Ranchland area and visited this cute bakery, the pastries within are delicious and not too sweet in my palate. The people are nice and friendly too. There is a large selection of treats for snacking as well as custom cakes. I believe it is a Filipino bakery, but in the language of tasty goodies, it speaks universal. So. if your in the area drop by, your tummy will thank you.

I’m a dessert person, always have been. When I say Purple Yum makes the best Filipino pastries in town I mean it! DELICIOUS! I ordered a chocolate cake for my daughter’s birthday and ended up buying a ton of different cakes and pastries including the most delicious ube custard cake! (Better than my mom’s custard cake, which was my favourite before eating Purple Yum’s cake, shh!!) My family loved all the options. Even my husband who doesn’t like cake was pleasantly surprised. I look forward to my next order! I’m so glad and proud there’s a Filipino bakery in my neighbourhood :)
