Pre-order and pickup for Christmas treats went smoothly without unreasonable delay or hitch. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to my transaction. The Yule log was delightful to look at--what with everything being edible and delicious--and it was sweetened appropriately to have non-sweet-tooth members wondering for more. Would not be surprised if Christmas treats from here becomes an annual thing, and their regular offerings of macaroons, roll cakes, individual pastries, etc do not become a special day treat throughout the year.

Disclaimer: Rating from an Iranian's persective (Rating reflects their branding as a "Persian pastry shop" within the community and their Iranian shirini available/on display), so: Their desserts are highly overpriced and the quality and taste just don't deliver. Comparing it to similar pastry places in Vancouver, it greatly disappoints???? stiiiill waiting for a good Iranian pastry place in this city????

Got some raisin cookies here and they turned out to be expired by two weeks, I went back the next day and they told me to come back in a few weeks since they dont bake them often and she refused to give me a refund. I never went back ofcourse and trashed the cookies!

Not much of a sweets guy but wife wanted to try some of the pastries from here so we got a couple macaroons (pistachio, macadamia, raspberry and mango) also raspberry cheesecake. I tried a little of everything and it all was good but macadamia was my favorite.

Terrible customer service and pastries. We bought an assortment of 6 desserts to take to a dinner party and only one of them was "okay". Everything we got (aside from the canoli, it was just bland) was over sweetened, without texture, and artificial. When we walked in, the girl at the register was being rude to the woman in front of us and we received the same condescending attitude. I understand if you're having a rough day but wow. Even when I inquired about purchasing marzipan she basically said "ew, go somewhere else". Even if the pastries were good, we would never come back.

I have been ordering cake from Orchid pastry for over 8 years now. My family and I love their cakes! I also just had my wedding on Oct 10 2020. We ordered pistachio cakes with extra pistachios and fresh cream. It was the most delicious cake ever! Soft, fresh, fluffy, light, not too sweet! Our guests loved it! We loved it! Orchid pastry is highly recommended for the most delicious cakes! They never disappoint! Always excellent quality!

This is a great little find! I've lived in the area forever and had no idea it was here. Just in the corner of the strip mall where the IDA drugstore is. INCREDIBLE macarons and just beautiful little desserts for around 3.50 that look like art. I felt like royalty with a little German chocolate cake I got (despite the fact that it was less expensive than something at dairy queen!)

Gorgeous pastries! They look as good as they taste. For this small hole-in-the-wall style bakery they over perform. Had the red velvet cheese cake. Rich and creamy it was difficult to put down the fork.

We traveled to this place from other side of the city because of the good reviews around 330 pm. The door was closed with sign "I'll be back in 5 minutes". Waited 30 min in front of the store, tried to call no one shows up.

What a disappointment and waste of money. The vanilla crème brûlée and creme caramel had clumps inside.. not creamy at all they did not make it properly..... barely any taste.. it honestly tasted watered down.. Especially the custard napoleon had no flavor! the custard was watered down can't taste egg or vanilla nothing... the flaky cake was dry and no flavor.. the strawberry rolled cake sponge was on the dry side but the strawberry cream inside had good taste.. The macarons were okay but small and overpriced. Will not recommend this place unless you like super plain food with a hint of disappointment.

I didn't even know this bakery existed until I discovered it on Ubereats! Felt like some cake one night so bought myself a variety Roulettes pack. My husband had been craving rolled cake. Our favourite flavour was the coffee one. The cake was moist and the coffee flavour was very fresh tasting, like a fresh pot of coffee. The other flavours weren't as noticeable. It would have been nice to have more flavour in the fruity slices. The aesthetics of the slices made you feel happy eating them. This is the best way I can describe it. They were colourful and even had shimmer in some. Will try again as there are other items on the menu we'd love to try.!

Small shop and friendly service. I had the chocolate mousse dome and it was absolutely amazing. There were 3 different layers of chocolate/textures and it was rich and decadent. The mousse dome is a must try if you ever visit this place, I for sure will have to go back to get another one or two the next time I am in the area.

So disappointed. I have not been here in a while but it has gone downhill fast. Was once the go to pastry shop for Persian treats, now it is just like every other bakery, except for one thing. Ridiculous pricing and poor quality. Their pastries are sub par, and their prices have gone through the roof. I used to get an assorted box of cookie for just over 20 dollars. Now I got 12 tiny Persian cookies. It is a joke. I will never be back and will not recommend this place to anyone. Sad to see as it used to be an incredible hidden gem.

The pastries here are quite good! A nice little hidden gem in the NW. They do orders and larger cakes. As well they have front of house ready to-go desserts. Only critique is the front of house pastries sometimes taste a bit stale, perhaps it's because they keep them all in a fridge. For that fact they're not always worth the price. As well they're customer service is a bit bad, they're not very good at giving recommendations. Besides that though, a good selection of treats and one of the only 'nicer' bakeries in the area.

Absolutely delicious and not too sweet. Best Napoleons ( but you usually have to pre-order as they go fast if out) delicious birthday cakes...we had them make an anonymous mask cake and she did so good. You can get them less sweet if you like...but i do not find them that sweet. Some would think expensive but this is not cheap ingredients. If you go to a resturaunt one pays way more for a desert. Worth your time to visit❤

There are many kinds of maccaron and cake in the shop. I only tried the cappuchino roll cake. It's ok for me, not to special, a little bit too sweet and the portion was small for the price.

A very nice, small bakery for when you have cravings! Ive eaten a lot of different desserts and varieties from this place and one thing that I've always consistently noticed is how sweet they are, maybe its just a matter of personal taste but usually i can't stomach more than 1 mini cake because its just too sweet for me. The servings are also quite small for the price, but i don't particularly mind, i just wish the sugar can get cut down a bit.

Such a cute little hidden gem! Highly recommend trying this place out. A girlfriend and I stopped in after having lunch elsewhere, and grabbed four different desserts to take home to enjoy with hubby and my daughter. All 4 were amazing! We all really enjoyed the strawberry black current dome ❤️ great value as well,, spent less than $25 for all four desserts. The last working told us they try to have a new dessert every week, which is really fun, always something new to try!
