These are the best macarons in the city. They are so light and airy with a delicate and crispy shell. The fillings are delicious and the variety means there is something for everyone, right down to the cotton candy macaron that my kids can't get enough of. Visited today for the first time. The location is beautiful, clean and smells delicious. You're greeted with a smile, kind words and really feel taken care of. These macarons rival the ones you get in Paris at the corner patisseries and are a delicious treat. I even tried the savory ones and was pleasantly surprised. Each macaron had delicate and distinct flavour. They were delicious! While there I was even offered a taste of their iced tea! Refreshing, the right amount of sweet, flavourful. Now I'm excited to try their class in the fall. <3

Macaroons we're delicious. Great assortment. Some we're obviously much fresher then others. The tea they have is AMAZING and pairs incredibly well with the cookies. They offer classes to teach you how to make them. Would give 4 stars for lack of seating but it's just such a cute little boutique and there's even free parking there are certain times.

Very nice and instagrammable store with beautifully displayed macarons and other nice trinkets for sale. You can buy a macaron for $2.50 or get a box of them for a cheaper price. There is also a nice seating area by the store front where you can take enjoy the macaron you just bought while snapping a pic!

Very impressed and quite possibly the best macrons I've ever had. They are not overly sweet or candy like, and the fillings are creamy and smooth without being overwhelmingly so. Their flavor selection is quite large with some good ideas/combinations that are well executed. Personally love the fig ones. Price is very fair for the level of quality.

Ollia's macaraon were delicious, and I know where to come next time when I am craving for the best macarons in town. Now, why am I posting my review with 4 stars and not five if I am so happy with the product? Here is why: My 5 years old loves macaroon and when he saw a picture of macarons the other day on my phone's, he told me that he wanted exactly those in the picture because they looked the yummiest. I have tried a few good places in Calgary but I googled for the best reviewed and Ollia was on the top. I live in SW and it was about 35-40 minutes drive from my home but I came to your shop with my son. I understand that I was late and there were only 5 minutes left to closing but I thought it would be a quick in and out. I saw that the door was closed because of Covid-19 which is understandable so I called for the order and the girl who took my call told me that I had only one minute left to order. I told her that I was not familiar with Ollia's flavors so I needed to first look what my son would like. She told that there was a menu at the door and repeated that I had one minute left otherwise shop would be closed. Now, it was not her fault that I was that late but she could see me standing there in front of the door and repeating the "one minute left" did not sound courteous at all. It sounded more like, "just choose something in next few seconds otherwise go away". I did not want to ruin it for my son so I quickly ordered from the menu a box of 12. I will definitely come again to Ollia but it will be for the macarons, not the overall experience.

LOVE this place for the macarons, they have so many creative flavors (ie. blue cheese or fig & balsamic) to delight the taste buds. They also host baking classes which are a ton of fun and very informative. Ollia is one of the only places in the city that I've found Kusmi tea at and they do have some lovely salted caramel dip to die for. I always stop by if I'm in the area!

I recently attended their 101 Macaron Class and I had an amazing time with two other ladies. The owner of Ollia, David Rosseau, lead the class how to make macarons. He was funny and entertaining and had no problem attending to everyone (we had about 8 ladies and 2 kids). At the end of the class, I walked away with 30 macarons and also a recipe! I also tried their house made tea (berry blush) which was delicious and I fell inlove. I 100% recommend this class. I'm even thinking about buying classes to gift my friends and family. Thanks David for being a great teacher. I hope when I make some macarons at home they turn out.

One of the great places to get quality Macarons to paid perfectly well with tea or coffee. The service was great and helpful. The texture was perfect for me, crunch on the outside while soft on the inside. Any flavors with Chocolates & Earl Gray are my favorite. It is a little pricey for me, but you get what you pay for.

I took the macaron class 2 and a half weeks ago, it was fun but nothing more. The owner was very vague with his answers (not wanting to give out secrets of course). We didn't get to measure our own ingredients nor did he discuss in the class how much of each ingredient we used, everything was pre measured. We were told that we will get an email with the recipe and to this day, I've not received it. We went on break while the macarons "dry" before baking and when we came back, its all out of the oven. we didn't even make the filling, and when I asked about the ratio for the ganache, he did not give a definite answer. Don't waste your money, youtube videos are much more informative.

The macarons are the best I had! Their shells aren't too hard and don't crumble excessively, their seasonal flavours are awesome - especially taro, and their delivery was on time. She was extremely helpful, kind and funny, not to mention patient with those of us who haven't quite master the skill of baking macarons! While some flavours are almost always in stock, the overall selection often varies so with each visit to the store there's always something new waiting for you. They also have a really good selection of loose leaf teas. You should try the lavender lemonade they make, you will love it.

We've visited to purchase, as well as to take the Macaron 101 class. I highly recommend Ollia. The macarons and tea make great gifts, or special treats for yourself. There is also a small selection of unique cooking utensils and baking supplies available. The Macaron 101 class is very eye opening on the process of making macarons, and is actually very fun. You get hands on experience on the techniques and finesse that are important to be familiar with, but a lot of the not-so fun heavy lifting duties (including cleaning) is handled for you, which keeps the class moving along, so you're entertained as you learn. You also get to take home a lot of macarons - which may not be as pretty as the ones you can buy from Ollia, but are still delicious, and add extra value for the price of the class.

Mmm. I love Macron, I tried in different places and there Macron is good but I felt that it is a bit sugary, it is more sweet than other places. I get the 6 pieces from my doughter for my birthday and it is good so far. The guy who help us was really nice to illustrate there flavoured. They have a weird one : blue cheese and pear which I did not tried. However I tried pistachio, Rose. What bathered me they have the 6 pieces in plastic bag.

My name is Amber, and I am a macaron addict. You should know that I feel absolutely no shame for eating this entire box of macarons in one sitting. Not even a little. Ollia is hands down, one of my most favourite macaron bakeries ever. The interior is chic, simple and interesting. Though there is a core selection of flavours, there are always seasonal flavours available as well and I almost always try something new. I love their little card program, where if you buy “x” number of boxes, you get 1 FREE! ❤️ I’ve gotten a few free boxes over the years, that is for sure! I’ve also taken their macaron making class in the past with an ex-boyfriend and we both really enjoyed ourselves. We learned lots about the art of making macarons, the history and practiced techniques in the class. We walked away with nearly 50 macarons between the two of us, and ya, you guessed it - I devoured them in no time ;) The product is top notch - perfectly balanced with a soft center, and crisp shell. But not so crisp that it crumbles in your hand! Parking is usually easy enough to get out front, and is free on Sunday’s and statutory holidays. Coming from a connoisseur that went on a macaron mission in Paris, you better believe this is a well deserved 5 star review ????????

The closest macarons to France. I might consider myself a bit of a macaron connoisseur (ie. I love macarons and try them everywhere I go) but no where in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal or Toronto can touch Ollia's macarons. Seriously. They are the absolute best. My only complaint is that I wish they would bring back the maple bacon macarons permanently again - those are so good!

Planning a destination wedding can be a challenge. With all the different moving parts, making sure everything comes together just as you envision it feels like a monumental task. I feel very fortunate to have chosen Ollia as the baker our for our wedding macarons. From first contacting them through our final communication, everyone was helpful. They offered advice about flavors as well as how best to preserve the macarons over the handful of days they would have to survive between pickup and the wedding ceremony. They were utterly delicious, and seemed as though they'd been created that very day. I was truly delighted with how sumptuous and beautiful our macarons looked and tasted. Hands down the best macaroons I have had in the city. They are a bit pricy but really worth it. I really want to try their classes.

Let me begin by saying that the macaroons continue to be delicious and the best that I’ve ever purchased. Unfortunately today’s $50+ purchase of your macaroons came with very poor service, very poor attention to detail, and the presentation wasn’t there. For a high end product such as this, to be presented with a box slid across the counter not in a bag, no ribbon around it and the extra meringue literally sitting on top of the macaroon box. The sales associate today, who was a young lady with glasses, seemed to be forced to serve us, judging by her disinterest. She didn’t smile and barley spoke to us.

Great macarons. Some flavors were not very good at all, however some were great. It's really a preference thing. Easy to find location and they have some special larger macarons too.

Fabulous shop! If you love learning new things, try making your own macaroons. Very fun 2 hours spent. Sloppy. These macarons are at a level where if an amateur home baker made them I would say they should be proud of themselves but coming from a shop that specializes in them, they should embarrassed. Lumpy, bumpy, gritty, and dull. They didn't even take 30 seconds to get the air bubbles out. Each side is a different shape and size (not round) which is ironic because they sell silicone baking mats, so perhaps they should try using them? The flavor was okay, some were good others taste just like butter that's been sitting uncovered in the fridge for three months and has absorbed all the random fridge flavours. The texture was a solid 6/10 and that was the best thing about these macarons.

A couple months ago, my girlfriend pre-ordered macarons to pick up later on that day. When she went to go pick it up, she gave her name and her order number, but the worker told her that a "friend" already picked it up for her. Although, my girlfriend did not tell anyone she was ordering macarons. The worker was able accomadate and make a new order for her, but it wasn't the right macarons she specifically ordered because certain flavours were sold out then. It was an odd encounter because it may seem like there could be a system breach or something, for someone to get my girlfriend's name and number confirmation for the order. Maybe something to look into, Ollia. Since then, we have not been comfortable to order again. Hopefully no one else has experienced this either.

The Macaron 101 Baking class was so much fun. I'd highly recommend it to everyone looking for a unique activity to do with your loved ones or friends. Chef is passionate and attentive and gives you absolute confidence in your baking skills (zero baking skill required) through his hands on teaching methods. During the class we were able to taste a few of Ollia's delicious Macarons and tea, and because we paid for the class we got a 10% discount on everything in store. This is was unique and fun gift!

Cutest little macaroon shop. The tea is also something that you need to try out with your box of macaroons. So many different kinds to choose from it was hard not to buy them all. The staff is very pleasant, a great place to stop in after brunch.

We got a pack of 8 below average macarons. Some tasted good, some didn’t. They were all different shapes, with uneven footing. Not all the shells were smooth either. I know it’s an “art” but don’t charge a premium price for products that aren’t perfect. You’re better off making them at home, which is what I did the next day.
