We have been going to this bakery for many years. Over time, the filling in their BBQ pork buns have been decreasing with the prices increasing. Our last purchase of pork buns was all bun and very little filling. Very disappointing and will never go back. Anyone know of a better Chinese bakery, we would appreciate a referral

While the pineapple buns here are pretty good, the ladies working have really bad customer service. They don't smile or say thank you but being Chinese I guess that's the norm. But what really rubbed me wrong was when the lady working there had some beef with a customer during an incident. The customer had asked a simple question about price but for some reason the lady was offended. The customer ended up not buying the baked goods and later went to the supermarket side (Lamda) to line up to pay for groceries. However the lady from the bakery came over to the grocery checkout and started swearing at the customer who didn't buy from her saying: "FUT YOU FUT YOU!!!" (the way it's spelled that's literally how she yelled it out) several times over and over.. in front of all the customers who were lining up. I decided to not return and support such a bakery and felt bad for the customer.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. The customers were asking about prices for the different buns they picked out on their tray. The two workers decided to give the customers an attitude. Example, “You don’t know how to read? The prices are on the signs!” And they didn’t stop there, it went on for a couple minutes. At this point, the customer stop asking question, paid and left the store and continue their shopping in Lambda Supermarket. The workers should have just move on and serve me instead (I’m next in line). HOWEVER, the two workers decided to start swearing at the two customers. All the way into Lambda supermarket as well. This whole incident made me pretty upset, so both my wife and I decided to stop supporting this business. **Incident was from summer of 2019**

Their cake rolls and cakes are good. Located by Lambda Supermarket. Prices are still very reasonable compared to other bakeries.

Clean bakery with fresh sesame balls and mochi. You will find many other Chinese sweet options. It was my first time to try and turned out to be good. Not a big fan but still would go again to try more.

I read the previous reviews about the incidents they had. However, I can tell the store is definitely making an effort to improve the customer service. I was at bakery to buy some buns and egg tarts today, and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.

There are a lot good bread, but the staff there has bad attitude, also they needs to learn how to pack the bread well because they don't provide box and they don't zip the individual bread so all the bread will come out together when you get home.

Delicious and great size/portion! We appreciate when we split the pastries in half there is barely any space between the filling and the bun. Amazing quality. Best Chinese bakery for all your craves.

Ordered 2-pound birthday cake recently, disappointed with thick sponge cake with just single filling layer. No good on decoration.

I'm from toronto which has alot of great bun places, but when I visited calgary and I got my hands on some of those buns I have to say it's some of the best buns I've had. The softness and texture of the bread and the well seasoned meet on the inside makes for the perfect delectable snack. I'm going back home this weekend to ontario and I'll be making sure to stop by and grab a few more of these amazing buns!
