I've always been rather indifferent to Swiss roll cakes - don't hate them, don't particularly love them - but Kan You Cake's are exceptional. Soft, light, fluffy, not overly sweet, good balance of cake and filling. I especially liked the mango and the lemon cheese flavors. I will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend ordering in advance online to be sure you get what you want.

Nothing but good experiences here. Their roll cakes are light, not too sweet, and delicious. These are perfectly sized cakes for gifts and special occasions. Everytime I go, the staff is so friendly. This place is always on the top of my list for when I'm craving desserts!

Came here to try out this new bakery. More of a Korean style bakery which sells cake rolls, cookies and tarts. Selection is a little limited but maybe because they are new. I tried the cherry tart which was good. It had a solid crust base with a bit of whipped cream and cherries on top. The cherries were a bit sour on top. The crust was delicious and not overly sweet. Neat place to try out if you're looking for something new.

The sponge cake was a little dense - hoping it would be a little bit more fluffy and airy. The whipped cream filling is nice touch as it isn’t too sweet and was complimented by the fresh strawberries. Overall, decent cake shop with a lot of different flavours.

Nice clean place, they’ve got Caneles, and cake rolls. They are mildly sweet which is good for many people Very very light, each piece finishes quickly haha Canales are cheaper than other places, I think it was for 2.5 only It is worth it

Went for the first time today and purchased the fruit roll cake and coffee roll cake. It was so good!! The cake is moist and the cream is delicious. It was so good I went on their website to look at options to order full sized ones in the future. Definitely recommend!

O.M.G. their roll cakes are ???? THE best I’ve had! Rich yet light + fluffy + super flavourful + oh so fresh! It’s like my mama whipped that cream up a moment ago just for me! I bought the assorted box on special and I got to pick the flavours I want! My favourites were the strawberry and mango. Oh and those caneles are to die for - crispy caramelized crust and buttery chewy centre????! Service was excellent too!

Went fairly early in the day after they opened, but still was "out" of most flavors, and although the lady at the counter was friendly enough, was not very helpful in informing when and if more of them will be available. The major issue I had about this place was they had a family of 5 dining in at the establishment today (Dec 25, 2020), which is not allowed according to the provincial guidelines. I saw the person at the counter give out the cutlery and napkins, so I know it was not disallowed by the store as it should have been. I didn't report it to the authorities or anything, with today being Christmas day an all, but I will not be supporting an establishment that blatantly ignores public health orders. Will never return.

My friend recommended me to this Kan You cake store. We were there after work and the only choices left is the swiss roll with earl grey tea flavor. Never had I tried cake with the tea flavor. It was kinda of odd taste but when I had another piece the next day for my snack, I find it's better in away I don't find too strong of the tea flavor in the cake. Our nephew tried too and he gave thumbs thumbs up. I like it especially it's not overly sweet and the cake is soft and fluffy. The cream...mmmm so good very light just like a whipping cream. For sure I will go back and will call in to order two fruit cakes this coming Friday. Also the lady at the cash register counter is indeed very friendly and great services. Thanks to my friend Diane Hong for a good recommendation????????????

This cake is absolutely delectable. It’s the perfect balance of sweet, fresh, tart, creamy... I could go on for ages. The cake itself has a wonderful cloud-like texture that’s so lovely to enjoy. I ordered my cake roughly five days before my party and they delivered it for me. It was perfect and so yummy. I wish I ordered two. And I can’t wait to order another one just because it’s so delicious. I will be a regular customer in the future. Very, very happy. I ordered the strawberry one.
