BRING CASH. Bring lots of cash! ( Cash only) I would give more stars if I could! 10/10. Moved to this area back in October and my nephew had told us about this bakery. So glad we gave it a shot! I've told my mom, my sister and she told her dad! Everyone loves this place. Quality, Local, Friendly, and awesome prices! Don't waste your money buying bread from big box stores and companies. This bakery sells everything from bread and buns, pastries and cookies, meat pies and sausage rolls (my favorite) and if you're lucky you just may be able to snag some cinnamon rolls (they're amazing) Anyways, stop reading this and go buy some buns ????

Wasn't thrilled with the baked goods. Somewhat dry. Flavorless. Can't comment on breads or cakes. Just individual baking. And they only take cash.

After a long day of work, me and my brother stopped by here for the 1st time and the scent of fresh baked goodies caught us like a fish on a hook. Definitely worth the visit. Loved the doughnuts straight up to the moon! Also bring cash

Cannot say enough about Canyon Meadows Bakery! It's a family run community bakery and the baking is nothing short of fantastic! Butterscotch brownies, strudels and almond buttons are our favourites, but literally everything they bake is crazy good! Very friendly owners as well makes it a favourite. Please note, it is cash only so make sure you have cash on you to avoid disappointment!

The prices are extremely fair considering the pastries and cookies are actually made in the back. I just had a rum ball from here. It cost 90 cents and it was massive. It was also chocolately and good and the best rum ball o ever had.

Grew up in the area and somehow missed ever trying this bakery until recently. They make Cobs look like a joke. Provides superior bread and pastries at better prices, and way friendly staff. Has a really welcoming, almost small-town-feel as well. Can't wait to make it part of my routine shopping!

Canyon Meadows Bakery made me a fantastic black forest cake for my birthday. They have lots of other goodies including breads, pastries, sausage rolls and meat pockets. My fave is the rum balls. We have been going to the Canyon Meadows Bakery since I was a kid, and that was 20 years ago. Delicious!

Great pricing and a very friendly family-run business. They have a good selection of baked goods and can also perform custom orders upon request. Make sure you go early, as a lot of the hot bakery breads sell out by mid afternoon

How have I lived in this area for 10+ years and never been here?! Talk about a hidden gem! Owners are delightful and there is plenty of delicious sweet and savoury treats, of which we tried multiple. I would highly recommend this bakery for anyone in the south SW. Will be going here before Safeway going forward. Note: they only accept cash so go prepared.

This place is a hidden gem! The majority of the goodies are under $1 (most are 85 cents). I got a whole bunch of things to try and the butterscotch bar was my favorite, highly recommend. I will definitely be back!

Decided to check this place out today, but apparently they only take "cash or cheque", which is ridiculous in 2018. It literally takes no effort whatsoever to accept at least credit cards with a Square Reader, so I assume they just don't want to make money. My wife and I and one more customer had to leave the bakery with no product because of this. The bread selection was pretty miserable too with the shelves half empty. All they had was a few different types of excessively soft white bread. Not coming back.

Oh. My. God. We needed a loaf of bread, and I was going to go to a store to grab one. My son encouraged me to check out the bakery. Immediately the lady recognized my son and was polite, friendly and treated him so respectfully and as a regular. I bought bread and a few treats and I am super impressed! The price is amazing, the quality is amazing and I will be going back! I don't even know if the bread will last the day, it's so yummy!!

Super high-quality goods at a great price, along with friendly service. You need to remember to bring cash - I suspect one way that prices can be kept low. (I try to use my credit card everywhere, but this and a couple places that require cash don't bother me. No reason for someone to give a "1" rating, that is for sure... I normally don't give too many reviews, but felt that I needed to balance out another one I just saw.) I have lived nearby for a number of years but always got my baked goods from Safeway or Co-op and the like, as I thought local bakeries would involve "boutique" prices. I wish I had gone in years sooner. I originally went in about a year ago when my parents were in town. My mother suffers from Celiac disease, and they had advertised gluten-free bread. (It is NOT a gluten-free bakery, but the bread was one item they made separately, and my mom - and the rest of us - thought it was really good.) From that experience with quality and service, as well as realizing the great prices, it's now a place I find myself frequenting weekly. You may find some items unavailable here and there, but there's always something good to pick up. I often go for the whole wheat bread, apple turnovers, strudel, cinnamon bread, and meat pies.
