Good prices but I got a "Japanese cheesecake" that was not good. I'd been warned that it was still frozen so I was warned, but the thing is that even if it had thawed it was still a dry, crumbly thing. I've had treats here that were all right over the years so I'm not giving it as low a score as it deserved, but if the PBTC advises you not to order something, don't.

Ordered a cake one week ago. Got a phone call where she asked me for when it was and I clearly told her I have guests at 12 so I'll be picking the cake in the morning before noon. Got here today and the baker starts fighting with me stating that I said I will pick the cake up after noon. Smiled and left but the rudeness of the lady made me cry. It was a special moment ruined.

I would really recommend calling ahead to have them make a nice fruit cake :) I bought my mom the mango mousse cake for her birthday and it was wonderful, cant wait to buy another for my dads in November :)

So we went to pick up a cake for my friends birthday and we ordered a Jordan cake that was posted on their website. When we went to pick up the cake it was not ready and it did not look like the photo from the website. The cake cost 90.00 and we planned for this cake for my friends birthday. When his brother arrived they ran to the back because the cake was not ready and when they brought it our to present the cake it was not recognizable from the picture on the website so we left. The business should not advertise a cake that they can not duplicate. That is all I have to say.

They're okay, the Japanese Cheese Cake is a bit dry but their nice. The Bathroom needs a bit of work but it's gender neutral. Honestly the Cake Designs aren't great but the flavour is decent. Reading through the other reviews the cakes ???? aren't good but the food ???? is all right. Overall: Solid 3/5 Okay but needs work

Excellent bubble tea and really enjoy the cakes. I found that this cafe has friendly staff willing to assist you in what you are craving that day. I will admit I can be very indecisive about what I want. The cashier the day I went was kind and patient, and even directed me in the direction of what I was craving. I am immensely satisfied to the point that I bring everyone and anyone I can here. Price is reasonable and the cakes are soft, come enjoy an hour here and I promise you won't be disappointed! Please note, I have yet to try the entree's or main foods; just had the opportunity to try bubble tea and different cakes. I will update my review based on once I have tried different entrees.

Awesome little shop for cakes. We stopped here before going to the Chinese Consulate and it was a great visit. The cakes they had were very good. They were much less sweet than normal grocery store cakes which suited my taste perfectly. The texture was also perfectly spongy, even after I left my takeaway box in the fridge for a day. Highly recommended.

Wonderful service and delicious cakes for reasonable prices. Ordered the banana chocolate cake for my wedding and it was a hit - the flavour was perfect, not too sweet nor too unsweetened. I highly recommend this place as they truly go above and beyond to make the experience a pleasent one. Thank you for such a lovely cake on my special day.

The cafe itself is very cute and cozy. It was a pleasant place to have my lunch break and the lady working was very pleasant. However the soup itself, I did not enjoy and had a stomach ache after. I found it very "fishy" tasting... which could be nice depending on the person, but it had pork in it, so I was not expecting that. The cake tastes okay but I found it a bit dry.

I used to stop in here from time to time to grab a pastry for a quick breakfast, or a slice of cake to take home in the evening. I used to like that. Ordered a wedding cake here weeks in advance. Got a call at 2PM on my wedding day. They "forgot" to make the cake. They couldn't even figure out how to process a credit card refund when I returned, and the only other thing they offered was a 20% discount card (which I told them was ridiculous). I will NEVER set foot in A Wish ever again.

Great little place, very cozy and comfortable. Great to stop in for some delicious cake. I've ordered many many custom cakes here for staff celebrations and milestones. Great selection and very good product. Cakes are very light and just perfect in terms of sweetness. Not overly sweet and does not cause diabetes like some of the cakes made with pure sugar and icing. These cake are fresh cream and fresh fruit cakes. Doesn't leave you with a heavy feeling afterwards and your teeth are sore either. Service is great, super friendly. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Prices are a little on the expensive side, but really, you get what you pay for. If you are more for quantity than quality, than costco or coop cakes are for you.

Given how close to closing we showed up, there was still a decent selection of cake slices. It was dark, but well lit from the outside. Don't be confused by the difficult to fathom name, the cake and drinks are tasty.

I recently bought a bubble tea, there was some miscommunication, which I can take the blame for. But the drink I received was so warm. I got a drink because it's very hot outside, it shouldn't have been room temperature, they didn't make it right and wanted me to pay for the fix. She just offered to put ice inside of it. So I was disapointed.

Hit or miss. The first time I went to this cafe, the staff member was nice and welcoming, and the milk tea with pearls was great. The second time I went, a different staff member told me it would take 30 minutes before the pearls were ready. I didn't mind, and did some work while I waited. The staff member was more interested in talking with her co-workers at the back. When I finally got the drink, it was cold and it was "my fault that I didn't state my preference." The menu lists both hot and cold options; shouldn't they know better to ask for clarity? Not a consistent experience.

Absolutely adore this place! The staff was very friendly, and the inside atmosphere is so cozy and nice. Me and my friend had the tiramisu and mango mouse cakes, and they were both fantastic. Definitely going back for more, especially with the bubble tea they serve too!

Had a cake delivered for my mom's birthday in downtown Calgary. Delivery was on time, cake was absolutely beautiful (mango mousse) and the service was quick and friendly. They even added a cute message on the cake. Would definitely recommend this bakery.

The worst cheesecake I have ever tasted in my life. It was a “roll” cheesecake which was basically a slice of their New York cheesecake with a rolo placed on top of it. It was very sour and also dry, top had a greasy layer like it sat outside for a whole day. The lady also ignored us and we stood around waiting for our order to be taken for about 5 minutes

This is a high quality bakery with reasonable price. My office used to be closer to A-Wish. I came for their egg tarts. The egg tart’s flavor is so fresh and yummy. Now my office moved far from A-Wish, I still come to buy something whenever I am nearby. Their cookies and cakes are very delicious too. The ingredients must be very fresh and non artificial, because the after flavor in my mouth is so clear and not like the thirsty one after eating grocery stores cakes. The cakes are also sold by slices. This is very convenient if you just want to spend a small amount of money to satisfy your mouth. I ordered a birthday cake a few days early. It was done beautifully and in time. I forgot the owner’s name but she is very friendly and accommodating to my need. All the best to this shop!

A nice little welcoming cafe. Such a shame the New York cheesecake was so awful. $5 a slice, for something neither me or my partner could eat. Super dry, crumbly and tangy...almost like it had gone off...was definitely a disappointment, as the cake range looked so appealing :(

I bought a Japanese cheese cake in store and brought it home to share it wiz my hubby, sadly it was tasted so awful. It obviously has been frozen earlier and not even deforested completely when i giving a try on it. I could clearly taste a lots little tiny ice chunks in there, they broke the regular texture of this cake badly. So i kindly waited for it to defrosted till I tried second time, again I lost all my expectation on this cake, the texture became soggy, it was almost like cheese flavored flour mixed something. It's a such terrible speechless experience.
