This place is so good! The choices are great and you'll pretty much like anything they have. I sure did. The kifle are my favorite to munch on. We've tried a few things so far and quite surprised as to how cheap everything was. The people are super friendly too. We enjoy the service when going in. You should try this place :)

Rude service. Purchased bread and two dessert squares and the woman behind counter sliced one square into half for some reason, even though they were pre-sliced and portioned out. Many other places I’d happily spend my money instead thanks.

Service was terrible. First time going there and the sign said lunch. They only had 2 pastries that were savoury. Ask cashier if there was anything else since sign said lunch. She said no. Didn't offer anything else. I sat and ate the item and left. When I left, I said bye but she was too busy on her phone. Food was good but unless you are familiar with the food, it's hard to buy since there are no description and person isn't friendly. As someone new and visiting, I was not able to try new food since staff was not helpful.

Has Rustic been bought by the white haired woman who used to own Bernie's bakery and her location changed almost as often as a M.A.S.H. unit? Rustic briefly had a new [temporary] location on Royal Avenue in New West which abruptly closed down. This location has been under renovation for many months now and selection is extremely poor. Quality subpar. Their signature item: Burek is served really cold and has little cheese filling and it's expensive. We will not be returning.

The bread is not bad overall, but one time we got a loaf that wasn't fully baked - photo attached, and today we got a baguette with a big hole and squished, and another bread that's squished as well.

Really delicious treats. Rare to find baked goods that are so balanced. Not too sweet not to dry, not to doughy and priced very reasonably. Definitely a gem. Would recommend that you try this place out!

Shame on you. Charging an arm and a leg for cold burek that is in no way different than the one sold at Chalo market for half the price. Except at Chalo, it's intentionally frozen.

The food is disgusting here and the front staff is extremely rude.. there should be a zero star rating. I’ve never had bread with so much oil in it. Save yourself the trip and avoid this place.

I was just at this store with my wife to purchase some sweets. We were greated by a young girl who we asked to pack us some white vanilla with walnuts sweets. We requested to have the ones on the front of the plater as they looked fresh. The other ones looked old as the vanilla custard has hardened. She was rude and stared to argue with us that the old ones were fresh. She insulted my wife by calling her pregnant. After 5 minutes of arguing she rudely said that she will give us the ones we requested but that she was right. This was absolutely the worst service we have ever had. She was lying and laughing to my face as she was arguing. I am a long time cook and I know the difference between fresh and stale. Will not be back ever again.

Excellent place. We love their products, the staff is nice with great customer service skills. This morning I paid 9 dollars for 1/4 of burek ( meat pie) it came up from 7 dollars. Little overpriced. I called another bakery and their price for burek was unchanged 7 dollars.I will go there next time.
