Ordered take out from them tonight. Their matcha mille crepes cake, rich in matcha, provides the perfect bitter contrast to the sweetness of the cake. Similarly, I love the lemon mille crepes cake with just the right balance between the sweet and sour. Overall, 5-star yummy! :) They are better than Lady M imho.

Nice atmosphere and the staffs were nice with smiles. I have tried their two kind of cakes recently and personaly, I was not a big fan of it. Cheese cake - the whipped cream on top tasted like a fridge, the cheese was ok Matcha short cake - felt a little too bitter for me but if you like matcha a lot, you probably like it. They used raw wheat gulten(if I'm not mistaken) for the topping. That was interesting and I like the idea Over all, I might come back for a drink, but probably not for pastrys.

Always wanted to try their rose and lychee crepe cake but they sell out extremely fast. Their interior is simple yet extravagant! They're known for matcha desserts - if you're a matcha fanatic then this place is your safe haven. They have different level of matcha ice creams for $15 and it's probably the best matcha experience I've had in Vancouver.

Speechless. My new credit card got denied on Mother’s Day so the Manager allowed me to take home the cake despite failure to payment. It was such an honour to receive such special treatment from the Lotus family! The strawberry cake itself was also super delicious :) It was fully loaded with strawberries inside/out and not overloaded with cream. The base is also very soft and chewy without being too spongy which I hate! Overall, best experience I’ve ever encountered at a retail store here in Vancouver and best cake in town.

Their cake slices aren't worth 12 dollars in any way shape or form. Zero taste. If you want a cake thats all cream and nothing else this is it. Walk down a block to Mon Paris for cheaper and better stuff

Delicious crepe cake. It is a nice place to spend time, with nice atmosphere. Service here is lacking a bit. Their teas are alright, I've had better for less. Cheese foam is unique to try here, I don't know of any other tea shop around Metrotown that offers that. Good place for a dessert/snack. Price is somewhat high for what it is worth, but the food here is nice. Worth trying their crepe cake and their different levels of matcha.

I ordered a matcha 3 icecream and a matcha crepe cake. The ice cream is acceptable. It is impressive to see the wide range of matcha icecream depends on its richness. Honestly, their icecream aren't the best in town thou. However, the crepe is quite a nightmare. It is just cream after cream. Some people might like it, but I'm definitely not one of those. Couldn't taste anything else besides the cream. Crepe is supposed to be light! Am I going to revisit anytime soon? Probably not for such an overpriced and disappointing cake.

Unprofessional. Slanted cake. Late. I ordered a strawberry shortcake for pick up at 1pm. The store calls me at 1pm asking if I can come by at a later time for pickup I said I was in a hurry and had to drive down to Fraser valley. I delayed my pick up time for 2pm and it still wasn’t enough for them to “fix” my own birthday cake. They called me at 2pm to delay the time again. I told them I can’t wait any longer and wanted a refund and I was on my way to get the refund. When I arrived, they said they “fixed” my cake. Please take a look at the cake.

They are always out of something, especially their crepe cakes. For example, I wanted to try the matcha crepe cake but I went in the cafe and they didn’t have any crepe cake available. Their cake availability is always unpredictable. Sometimes they have the matcha cheesecake sometimes they don’t.

Great place for tasty cakes and if ur a matcha lover then definitely need to try their matcha ice cream flight, personally it’s too matcha for me but my frds all loved it. I like the cheese mouse matcha drink and pistachio ice cream. All of their cakes are tasty and pleasant to the eyes. Don’t expect too much service from here I think they wanted to be semi self serve. Ex: getting ur own water, go to the cashier to pay etc. This also means there might be less tips for the servers. Ambiance was really nice. I would definitely come back again in the future and I would definitely recommend.

I have come here three times already. It was excellent! The interior design was very attractive, comfortable and upscale in terms of a matcha restaurant. The owner has put a lot of effort, time and energy on running this matcha shop and aimed for success. Since I have been here three times, they have updated their menu from a more simple version to a nicer one. Most of the items on the menus are the same. We tried their matcha beverages, parfait, shortcake, and crepe cakes. All of us loved them. This is the best shop to eat matcha products in Vancouver other than the ones we had in Japan. Most of the customers here were female. There were a few guys but they were tagging along with girls. This restaurant is a good option for girls date, dating, and friends gathering. Servers were friendly and they were trying to be efficient because there were a lot of customers in house and those who bought takeout. I would highly recommend this matcha dessert restaurant to others. The only concern is parking is limited in this neighbourhood.

Its a nice place and the food is alright. Its definitely a good place to relax. However customer service is some of the worst I've seen. At the table for more than an hour, no one comes by to give us the bill. After getting they bill they say they "can't" plit it. Haven't heard that in 4 years, its pretty basic.

Matcha with cheese foam is so good and watermelon fruit drink is refreshing too. I liked the drinks so I ordered creambrulee cake and loved it! not too sweet and perfectly soft texture. I would recommend both drink menu and cake.

Crepe cakes seem to be that new trendy dessert in Burnaby, or maybe it's been one for a while, I'm not sure, but I like it. I was looking to try a few options that, unfortunately, were not available, so I went for matcha and creme brulee. Both turned out to be pretty good, not the best I've tried but still good. I should note that the prices here are above average for the same product in the area. However, I liked their packaging for to-go orders.

Tried their Hazelnut mousse, surprisingly not too sweet! Was amazed by its taste! Recommended for those who are craving for some chocolaty taste but doesn’t want it to be super sweet. ;)

Not exactly happy with the birthday cake. Regular price is 70$ for 6 inch. Added 10$ for the extra height. So I fully understand that $135 is for the cake with flowers, and $115 is for the cake without flowers. Since I already have roses from home, I decided to go for the $115, thinking there should be some alternatives for the flowers or at least something similar to the regular ones. End up with the worst birthday cake ever. I can get so much more with Buttermere or other cake boutique.

It’s nice to have such a fancy cafe newly opened around the neighborhood. Nice pastry and nice service. Offers a lot more seating than previous Richmond location! Totally recommend!

We ordered the strawberry roll cake. The decoration is very simple and elegant. The inside of the cake doesn't have too much cream and has lots of strawberry. The cake itself is very light and not too sweet. But I don't think the flavour justifies the price. The roll cake serves around 6-7 people depending on how you cut the cake. It wouldn't be somewhere I would recommend to other people but overall it's cute to bring to a family gathering and the packaging also looks impressive.

We came a couple of times and the cakes are amazing. I would recommend their cheesecakes, the durian crepe cake and the earl grey crepe cake! Tea are $7/pot but you can share between your group. The environment is great for dating or hangout. The best part is that the tables are spaced so you hear minimum background noise.
