Cakes and cookies and eclairs are always delicious but today I tried some savoury goodies and they did not disappoint! Sausage rolls are the best and the meat pies (1 chicken, 1 ground beef) were excellent!

Went here for the first time the other day. Bought a pumpkin pie. Was not impressed. Grocery store pumpkin pie is better. Even my kids passed on the last piece so that speaks volumes. I will go here again and try some other baked goods.

Really positive first trip to Clarke' since moving to the area. I bought an assortment of baked treats (cookies, squares and tarts) to serve to guests. Everything tasted from scratch and reminded me of my Grandmother's baking. It seemed like a great assortment of traditional English baked goods. You can tell how good something is by the long lineup that nearly went out the front door. Looking forward to returning, it's unfortunate the bakery is closed Sunday/Monday.

Our family enjoy the shortbread cookies which are always made special by order for birthdays, anniversaries or other specific occasions. Clarke's has many other tasty products!

I’ve gotten my birthday cake from here every year for almost 15 years lol. Absolutely awesome and we get cookies and other treats for holidays, as do other family members. Can’t go wrong with Clarke’s ????

Got the "Joe Louie" and a "Flakie" to share with a couple of friends. We all thought they were just OK. Lady serving us was not exactly rude, just disinterested. Probably won't go back.

I had an amazing experience yesterday! I was getting pizza for my Nana and noticed this lovely shop. I stepped on and was assisted right away. The lady behind the counter was wonderful and have great recommendations. My family really enjoyed dinner and dessert which were all bought here! I would highly recommend!!

I just shopped here today. In the past I have got blueberry pies and other cakes. The food is always great. The store is always clean and smelling of baked goods. The best experience is the friendly customer service. I highly suggest to try baked goods from Clarkes Home Style bakery instead of a fortinos or sobeys. Also Credit is not accepted here only debit and cash.

Went there today in search of an empire cookie, was told they were sold out. Instead I bought a couple of fern tarts, cinnamon rolls, and a Napoleon cupcake. The cupcake didn't have a label, so I had to ask what it was (a vanilla cupcake encircled with raspberry jam and topped with whipped cream). That was delicious, but very messy to eat. The fern Tart was a disappointing shell filled with dry cake and mixed peel. The cinnamon bun was anemic, pale dough, barely any cinnamon filling, and a scant drizzle of icing. I won't be going there again.

I have bought cakes for over 25 years mainly because I liked the icing. I bought a cake in February and it was horrible. I went to Clarks and found out it had been sold to the next door business. The former owner used butter in the icing. No more, it's now butter oil. When you cheapen down you lose customers. Today I went into Hamiltonto buy a cake. No more Clarks until they smarten up and use the previous owners recipes for icing. I hate being ripped off for inferiors products.
