***UPDATE*** This bakery continues to knock my socks off! I placed an order for my 36th birthday and the cupcakes were SO good. Honestly I could eat them every day! Their customer service is also unmatched. The owners of this bakery are truly amazing people. The shop itself is IMMACULATE in terms of cleanliness! Thank you! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Cakes Sweets & Treats for making my dads 60th birthday cupcakes so special!! I was even offered a free coffee when I came in 'just because'. We ordered 12 cupcakes and I got a chocolate croissant (best one I've ever eaten)/ I cannot tell you how refreshing and nice it is to have that small business vibe in Burlington (when so many larger businesses have taken over). A friend recommended Cakes, Sweets and Treats to us for our wedding cake. When we went and picked up the samples, firstly I could not believe the portion size, I was able to get opinions from quite a few people which was very helpful because the 3 samples we requested were all awesome. Our cake was beautiful, exactly as they explained it to us when we did our consult. All our guests enjoyed it, I froze the left overs and brought them to work when I got back a week later and they all raved how delicious the white chocolate raspberry was. I've since ordered my husband's birthday cake and cousins birthday cupcakes through the bakery. You will have my business for the long run. You ladies are spectacular, thank you again for making our wedding cake.

What an amazing find! I was tasked with finding a Unicorn cake for a milestone birthday. With only a few days notice, I found this wonderful place! Cakes, Sweets & Treats is soooooo much more than that. As the photos show, incredible talent in putting together a beautiful and incredibly delicious cake. But the service, top level. We order all our special occasion cakes here, birthdays, and most recently a very cool confirmation cake that looks like an open Bible. Cookies, pies, cupcakes, squares and more can be found here. The chocolate drop is one of my favourites along with the macaroons which compliments there great coffee. My kids also love the ice cream here.

I placed an order with this company for the first time a week ago for a friend who moved to Burlington and also had knee surgury. The day the delivery was done my friend called me to tell me that the treats were amazing! This fabulous bake shop made a cake for our Sutton Group Summit Real Estate Brokerage BBQ, and please believe me when I say it was probably one of THE best cakes I have ever eaten in my entire lifetime!!!! (Sorry Mom and Grandma.) The cake was sooooooo moist, such amazing flavour, incredible texture, and even the icing... it was honestly unbelievable ...and I have never had any icing I've liked, until now. Surely these people are Cake Gods/Goddesses and have figured out how to make a good, no, GREAT old-fashioned, handmade, homemade cake... just like the ones I remember my grandmother making when I was just a boy. I wanted to leave a review to let everyone know how incredible both in taste and customer service this place is! Taste is why I have come here, it has been highly recommended by many I know with no complaints, only praise. What I needed to say here was how incredible their customer service is. I emailed Laura from Cakes Sweets and Treats with a very last minute request, a request from my daughter for her 5th birthday party (her first official birthday party) for mermaid themed cupcakes (she didn't even ask for gifts, just these adorable cupcakes for her to share with her friends) and unfortunately, it was too short of notice to get an order for the version I sent her (fondant, which I totally appreciate and understand), HOWEVER, Laura said they could rush cupcakes with colored frosting (similar to the look of the image I sent her) and then went a step further and said it wouldn't be an issue to add some edible pearls to the top, to add that special touch! It was above and beyond and she is going to make my daughter so happy, I think it is what we all want, to see our kids smile at the smallest things - thank you so much Laura (and team)!

We ordered a custom two tier peppa pig cake with Laura for my daughter's 1st birthday. The service from beginning to end was smooth and friendly. Everyone raved about how spectacular the cake looked and how moist it tasted (we ordered the raspberry white chocolate). The decorations on the cake were exactly like on the cartoon program and we were very impressed with the level of detail and artistry that went into creating this masterpiece. This past weekend Me and my wife were on the hunt for the best zeppole in Oakville/Burlington/Hamilton area. I tried 4 different bakeries, and by far this place was the absolute best. First off the shells are fried, that’s really the only way to enjoy this pastry, most places bake them, but it’s traditionally fried. They had 3 offerings: Italian cherry and custard, raspberry real cream white chocolate and Nutella.. all 3 were delicious ????, and very generously filled, my favourite was the traditional and my wife’s was the real cream raspberry, she said it really made an impact on her sweet tooth. If you haven’t tried zeppole.. do yourself a favour and head on over to CST. Can’t be beat. ???? these are my fav.

The treats here are truly top notch, very talented baking. However in a pandemic we are extremely disappointed the server does not wear a mask, especially since they are handling food. Yes there is a plexiglass barrier however in order to receive your order the server has to hand it to you, at which point you can no longer maintain 2m distance or be separated by the glass. Hope to return someday if safety is improved. You have lost us as customers as we do not feel safe coming in anymore.

Laura was an absolute pleasure to deal with, we communicated mostly via email and Laura was always quick to respond and always answered my questions. She was professional and very friendly. I went into the store twice to pay the deposit and to drop off the cake topper and it was great to meet her in person again she was very friendly and helpful. Last week I had the pleasure of enjoying a very delicious birthday cake from this bake shop. My daughter had ordered me a raspberry white chocolate cake for my 50th birthday, which all 50 of our guests raved about, they honestly said it was the best tasting cake they have ever had. She also brought home some fresh pastries, including zeppoles and they were generously filled with the freshest custard. I visited cakes sweets and treats based on all the amazing reviews. I had to go see for myself.. Wow.. I must say they are truly 5 plus star. We purchased some Canada ???????? Day desserts, that we just finished and my oh my.. incredible!!! Real cream & strawberry eh-clairs (How cute?) were out of this world, only complaint was I didn’t buy enough..the buttertarts and Zeppole.. both fantastic too, very nice store front, very clean, super friendly gals serving too.. how did I not know of this place sooner? Thank you! I can’t wait to come back. 5****

Service is amazing, very nice ladies, love the fact they honour mask exemptions for medical conditions, no discrimination here. Hard to find businesses that follow city bylaw, and so happy they do! Truly the most delicious and beautiful cakes and treats I have ever eaten. Their lemon raspberry cupcakes are a piece of piece of heaven but trying to decide which one from the many varieties (Cinnabon, Oreo Nutella, Red Velvet etc) to choose from can be difficult. Filled with a soft whipped custard cream makes these cupcakes so unique you just can’t eat one. The customer service and dedication to customer satisfaction is 100% spot on. Cakes Sweets and Treats will be my bakery for future events!!!

I ordered a 30th birthday cake, a crime scene cake from cakes sweets and Treats. I found them to be extremely professional with quick responses via email. I was a little last minute and they still produced a flawless cakes, the details were very clean and the cake itself was delicious. My girlfriend at the time, now fiance ;) loved her cake. Last minute special orders done to perfection, exquisite detail on special cakes and cookies, and an unbelievable selection on cakes, PIES (apple caramel is amazing!), and dinner snacks. I received a box of cookies (assorted) from a client for the holidays-it was such fun trying them all, they were all soo tasty and fresh (coconut macaroons dipped in chocolate were my favourite!!), pretty and nicely presented. They offer an extensive variety of flavours which can cause some heated discussion amongst family members when choosing the right one for the occasion. We have resolved this issue by slowly working our way through all the flavours and the one thing that has been consistent is that regardless of the flavour they have always been deliciously decadent. The cakes have become a tradition to celebrate our special occasions and are eagerly anticipated and thoroughly enjoyed by all of the generations in our family. From whimsical children’s cakes for our grandkids to eloquently decorated cakes to celebrate anniversaries or milestones they have been beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The customer service is exceptional as the owners/bakers, Laura and Mirjana, are very personal and friendly with their customers and if you frequent their bakery enough, they greet you by name and make everyone feel very welcome. If you want something to make a celebration more special then bring a cake, pie, tart or anything baked here and you are sure to please everyone.

Ordered a Confetti Birthday Cake for my brother’s birthday based off glowing reviews. I have to admit the cake was over cooked and did impact the taste. The Cheesecake and especially the Boston cream cup cake were absolutely delicious! The rum ball pictured was average (too bitter in my opinion but the wife loved it). Customer service was great. Happy we have found one of our favorite Burlington bakeries.
