Nice bakery mostly, but I was informed that none of their specialty breads or sourdough were available before noon. So unless I wanted plain white bread there was no options. Weirdest bakery experience I've ever had. Bought a sourdough bun leftover from yesterday around 9 am because that's all they had and left. Sadly I'm not around that area after 9am so no yummy fresh sourdough Or any of their exciting looking varieties for me. Very disappointing.

Recommended to us by staff at Fort Rodd Hill, we headed here for a quick takeout lunch. We didn’t know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. The staff was so amazing, friendly and patient as it was busy and we weren’t familiar with the menu. The roast beef sandwich on sourdough rye will go down as a highlight of our vacation. The cookies delish. But the best were the cinnamon bun bites (can’t remember the actual name). You mean I can get my cinnamon bun fix and not have to buy an enormous bun? Heck ya. Prices were so reasonable too.

My partner and I decided to treat ourselves to a breakfast spread of baked goods and coffee from Royal Bay Bakery the other day. We ordered it for delivery and figured that because we were also out of bread we'd grab some as well. When we opened our delivery we noticed that they'd forgotten the bread! So I called them, thinking I'd just pick it up later that day, and before I could even suggest that management offered to personally drive it out to me (and I don't live very close to them). I was super impressed with the service and the food was delicious ???? I will definitely be going back!

Cozy atmosphere, flippant and rude service, challenge to meet distancing guidelines. When I went to pay, I was informed “we do not accept mobile payments - I will take your bread back.” No mention of this on the prominent visa accepted sign. I asked if there was another payment accepted, I had a physical card. I had to ask if I could use it. The person at the register grimly pushed the bread across the counter. Good morning birds chirped... somewhere else.

I don't usually 5 star anything because there is always room for improvement. The Royal Bay Bakery however, is deserving of this rating. From its grab and go soups and sandwiches to a cornucopia of delectable sweets that you would hard pressed to find elsewhere this bakery offers much more than you would imagine. Went to grab a bite yesterday and although the ladies were lovely at the counter. The food wasn’t. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Club Wrap. What I got was a warmed up wrap with ground up Bacon, Turkey (I couldn't even locate in the wrap) with warm soggy tomatoes, lettuce and the tortilla turning to mush as a result of being zapped in the microwave. The contents inside the wrap looked like ground up dog food and was inedible. I even tried to give it away, they too couldn't stomach it. I would of never ordered this had I known it was heated up, anything with lettuce inside should not be heated. Last but certainly not least, I paid $12 for this so called wrap. Disappointing is an understatement. We won’t be back.

A perfect little bakery. I love the stress on organic foods, high efficiency equipment and solar panels (6 Kw on the roof I believe). The sandwiches are really well done and the desserts and drinks are delicious. So much to choose from here and a nice atmosphere to eat it in. And you can charge your EV while you are there.

I was so disappointed. I love bakeries and wont go back here. The selection wasn't to my taste. But that's entirely my taste. But I couldn't find anything I wanted to buy. My husband bought some bakery items and he was disappointed in them. They were 'OK'. The prices were, we thought, very high. And for the price, he expected, a higher quality item. The ambiance was not appealing in the eating area. Off to the side and end of a long room. Nice outside the building if one wants to eat outside.

Have been going there forever. Today the lady was very rude. I have a 2 pound yorkie. Always bring her in my arms. And don’t go anywhere near the food. I just pop my head in and ask for a coffee today she’s like no you need to Leave your dog in the car. Like really I have been going here pretty much every day and now you are telling me to leave my dog in the car at 25. It will kill her in the amount of time it takes me to stop and get a coffee. I totally understand and it’s not what she said it’s how she said it. Very rude. I will definitely not be returning

I’ve always had outstanding customer service and the prices are reasonable. Love the quality as well! Organic ingredients and free range meats, the best! Lovely friendly staff! We bought 4 different items and all looked wonderful but were just okay taste wise. Breakfast sandwiches- Excellent whole wheat buns. Vegies were fresh and crisp. Bacon definitely lacking, I'm not sure it was even included. Apple Fritters- one piece of apple, very dense and chewy, flavour okay. Bear Paws for the kids- dense and chewy, they did not finish them, flavour okay. Sausage Rolls- Tasty but small and therefore a lack of filling. Won't rush back but won't avoid it either.

This place is about 2 blocks down from the B&B I stayed at. Family owned and operated. Everything from scratch. Fresh scones every morning and sandwiches that are wonderful. They even cook their own turkey breast from a local poltry guy. I was impressed.

So I was out doing a tree job in the forest somewhere and passed this small bakery on the way back to Vic. The ppl working were kind and cordial, there mexi beef burrito things were phenomenal, it wasn't too pricey and super filling. A great way to finish my work day. Thanks guys! We'll be back.

Nice little bakery! Lots and lots of selection, so yummy. Nice indoor or outdoor seating. We had coffee and treats for morning coffee break. We bought scones and sausage rolls and cinnamon buns. Oh even got some yummy 50% off breads on clearance

No cakes. Pumpkin pies were very small and expensive. Not much selection. Crowded and not friendly.
