My partner and I came here after discovering the place we wanted to stop at had closed. We had coffee and chai masala, with banana bread and the gluten-free brownie. Found out this is a nut-free bakery which was perfect for my partner. I’m not kidding - best gluten-free/nut-free brownie we’ve ever tasted. The owner was lovely and friendly, and we ended up coming away with more bakery goodness to enjoy at home. Bonus - free parking out the front.

Oh my god! REAL, PARISIAN QUALITY CROISSANTS! Light, flakey, smooth, perfect mouthfeel, no lardy aftertaste, crisp exterior, perfectly fluffy moist interior. Came in for a doughnut, which they don't sell, left with a dozen pastries. Friendly, helpful staff, and only real ingredients. 100% will return and recommend. Denise and Anna, the two owners are an absolute treat. Denise is so passionate about what she does, and loves having customers try het latest confectionery concoction. Exquisitely perfect

This is my favourite bakery in Canada. Yes, there’s other good bakeries as well. However, this little bakeshop beats them all. The product is fantastic, absolutely first class. The service is amazing and of course the location is great.

Was just there about 30 mins ago and bought one of their lemon dream croissant, strawberry rhubarb muffin and a coffee. Everything was extremely delicious and the prices there are fantastic! Whenever I am back in Horseshoe Bay I am definitely coming back! Would highly recommend!

So yummy. The chocolate croissants are really good. Got the date squares too. Had my first taste at The Lookout Cafe on the main street by the beach and had to have more. Denise was lovely and warm as her baking. Will definitely return.

I love this bakery! Flour Bakery is a small, no-nonsense bakery whose pastries speak for themselves. I passed through Horseshoe Bay many times during my visit to Vancouver, and every time I arrived in the bay, if there was even two minutes before my bus or ferry, I would run over to Flour Bakery and get something. The outdoor seating is very pleasant if you have time to relax. Everything is great, but the brownies are especially powerful!

Came here based on reviews and was very disappointed. We tried a muffin and a cinnamon bun and we couldn't even finish them. Being a baker myself, everything seemed like reheated frozen goods. Definitely not fresh or homemade in the least. If you're passing through don't bother.

This bakery started really good a few years ago but now I am disappointed! You just can’t put 10 scoops of butter and 5 spoons of sugar in a cheese scone and call yourself a “ chef” :( ! sure it’s rich in taste while you eat it, but both my wife and I felt sick to the stomach for the entire morning! It’s 21st century bakery must make healthier food especially in Vancouver area!

Stopped in for a snack on the ferry. Best idea ever. Got two sausage rolls that were the lightest tasting pastry with just the right amount of spice in the sausages. We also bought two carrot cakes, two lemon tarts and 1 brownie, two other chocolate and caramel tarts which we are bring to our stay on the Sunshine Coast. Can’t wait to try them all. By the way each square could easily feed 4.❤️❤️❤️

Pleasant and friendly with tasty sausage rolls and good, though not fancy, coffee. They seemed well adapted to the covid era with taped marks on the sidewalk, a taped line in front of the counter and hand sanitizer. We were even able to sit outside!

What a hidden gem. Prices are extremely reasonable for the high quality. Grabbed a couple of scones for breakfast the next day and they were perfect. Tasty, soft inside and crunchy outside. Thank you for your placard that let us find you.

Bought an amazing rhubarb pie and a Pluck - Earl Grey Cream tea. Like others have noted, real QUALITY at this gem of a bakery. I feel lucky I stopped by and met the owners who are passionate about their quality organic goods. I expected average but instead found excellence! Looking forward to my next visit!

If you're in the area, you NEED to check this bakery out! They sell a range of delicious pastries and cookies! Everything is priced reasonably and the staff are friendly! The sausage rolls are very yummy and you can taste the hard work that the staff put into them!

Came here based on reviews after a hike. Got a cinnamon bun. It looked alright but unfortunately tasted like a bakery in England had tried to replicate a cinnamon bun using super light / dry pastry, watery cheap icing (no butter nor vanilla), lack of cinnamon flavour or raisins - see “iced finger”. And it was $5. Honestly a cinnamon bun from Tim Horton’s would be a *significant* upgrade.

The owner and her daughter were so lovely. We stopped here before getting on the ferry and she was kind enough to draw us an elaborate map to get back onto the ferry with our car - something you could tell she’d done many times before. The food was delicious. We are so happy we stopped here - we had an incredible dinner. Much better than ferry food! Thanks again for your kindness. What a cute spot!

(Original) La panaderia ofrece una variedad de delicias hechas a mano y en casa. Desde varios cafes natales al gusto ha postres y panes que le hacen el amor al paladar. Tuvimos el gusto de comer un cuadro de pastel de zanahoria con un betûn cremoso y nada enpalagoso. Pasas, hebras de zanahoria revolto en harina con resultado orgànico. Una barra de chavacano con coco apoyado por una galleta deliciosa. Al fin decidimos llevar unos crossaints y panecitos crujientes rellenos de chocolate y pasas para emborrachar el paladar para la cena. La recomiendo en su totalidad! De hecho, la limonada con lavanda es bastante refrescante! Ni la piensas! Atrévete!!!!!

Owners were super friendly! And this place is nut free! For a guy like me with tree nut allergies this was a bonus! Places like that are super hard to come by. They even put a pot of coffee on for me despite it being almost time for them to close! I will definitely be back and if you’re in the area definitely check them out!

We randomly found this place. We got a savory scone and a chocolate tart and both very absolutely delicious. The chocolate ganache tart was one of the best dessert we ever had! We enjoyed speaking to the owner about our Italian roots. We will go back soon (possibly before she closes tonight)!

This tasted as amazing as it looks. Small but decadent enough to serve 5 and very affordable. I needed a cake in short order and Denise stepped up to the plate with great delight.
