Unfortunately it was challenging to take pictures re I did not want to hold up people waiting outside due to covid and the limit of 2 customers at a time. So it was in, buy, and out. Everything looked tasty but we just got some almond slices this time. They had a layer of apricot jam, and I think either some marzipan or almond essence in the cake. They were delicious. A good size for the price. Very moist and full of almond flavour with some nice tang from the apricot. I would definitely get these again. Daniel

I'm from Denmark and I can testify that they do a great job at making Danishes and other baking goods. Some classics are missing, and they do tend to take the marzipan approach quite often, but I personally love marzipan so I don't really mind. They deserve 5 stars for embarking on something so unique as Danish bakings goods.

I've been going to this bakery since I was a kid, and there's no other place I'd rather go for a tasty treat. My entire family is obsessed with their brandysnaps and French wafers! Every big family dinner is finished with their treats for dessert and the lady that's always working is so kind and wonderful, I always love seeing her

Great prices, great flavour, and real whipped cream and custard. The marzipan squares are delicious. The strudel size is abundant, flavorful and flakey. I'm coming back to get a birthday cake soon and get more sweets!

from the outside it looks like a hole in the wall kinda place, but once you step in, the welcoming scent of freshly baked goods makes your mouth water, my dad and i got their meat pies, sausage rolls and a carrot cake. They were all amazing!! we'll definitely be going back, just thinking about their baked goodies makes my mouth water! so good!!

Awful service. Walked in and didn't get a hello. She just stood there glaring at me. It felt awkward. I don't know how fresh their baked goods are. And the display case was full of flies. Everything looked like it was days old. Either dried out or soggy or melted. All the baked goods just looked so stale. I ordered a Nanaimo bar. It was so dry it was rock hard. The cashier didn't say please or thank you when I paid or have a good day or goodbye. So grumpy like she was annoyed I came in. I think the owner needs to hire someone new with better customer service. Or if she is the owner she needs to reconsider her career choice.

Good and tasty stuff but grumpy service each time I have gone in there. Probably about 8 -10 times. I feel as though I am bothering them so I don't use them as much as I would otherwise. Perhaps it is me (i do try to be kind and nice to everyone) but a warm and friendly atmosphere is important for me to remain loyal to a business

This is the LAST truly Danish bakery in the greater Vancouver area. The pastry is great and i varmly recommended the Kringle and kransekage. They also have traditional Danish layer cake (lagkage) with real whipped cream

Outstanding bread. Rye and coarse rye the best in Canada. Sweets like vanilla slices are absolutely terrific. The only use real ingredients like cream, never anything artificial so the quality is exceptional. Since we can't go to Europe to get such authentic and tasty bread and pastries, we're very lucky we have such a great bakery right here. The service staff are very nice, too. We continue to enjoy such great bread and pastries from this excellent shop.

I have been coming here for awhile now. The pastries are absolutely delicious! The girl working there has terrible customer service. Everytime I walk in I never get greeted or even a thank you after my purchase. It feels like I'm an inconvenience everytime I walk in.

Apple Streudal is amazing. I have even given it as gifts to several people and they always rave about it. They make fabulous cakes, the Chocolate Raspberry is fantastic, perfectly balanced with the sweetness, and the Chocolate cake is rich and chocolatey without becoming incredibly dark and bitter. They make delicious cinnamon snails/scrolls, which are a nice alternative to a cinnamon bun, or Copenhagen. The staff are knowledgeable about their product, and willing to answer any questions. This is a great, non pretentious, local bakery.

Stopped in, just after the 9:00am opening, on a Thursday morning. The lady behind the counter was very grumpy. I was almost compelled to leave without buying anything, but I came for the hard to obtain Danish pastry. Prices are a little on the high side, but if you want specialty items you pay. Now the good news, the four different items I bought were delicious. I served them at my Danish friend's family reunion and everyone said there were well made. So I recommend patronizing this bakery, but don't be surprised if customer service is lacking.

Pretty good little bakery. Their rye bread is quite good. I wish they had a darker rye or a pumpernickle. The cinammon swirl dessert is very sweet, but not that cinammony. It's still good but depends what you're looking for.

Worst service ever!!!! Not a hello, not even a faked cracked smile.She finished what she was doing and basically stood there until I ordered..Not imoressed , as I was shopping for a senior neighbour and def won't ever come back. sad, as I used to live in Cloverdale and it used to be great.
