I think that the management here probably use a "facelift," in terms of their customer service skills, especially the manager who is waiting at the front door, very rude and pushy. The pharmacy is the worst though, due to the pharmacists assistants never writing down what medication you require for drop off, or hanging up on you abruptly as you are giving them address details. It seems like the older women working at the pharmacy really don't know how to do their jobs in an organized or professionally manner, not the rude or distasteful way you treat your patrons.

I was there around 1230pm on a Saturday, they have signs everywhere that all registers are open Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 6pm. When I was there two registers were closed and line up at the other ones. If you can't fulfill on your promise, get rid of the signs it's false advertising

Products are always fresh and in stock. I love shopping the PC brand items as they often carry unique things. Absolutely love the deli counter for quick sandwich or sub dinner meats. The fresh bread is great as well! Store is always clean and well stocked. Customer service is either fantastic or pretty terrible. Depends on the cashier. Great place to shop!

This has always been one of the grocery stores I have gone too but have found recently it has not bern as good. The produce is not very fresh, the deli counter has not had anything that I was looking for in stock and the grab and go was empty and packing up by 5:45. (That seems a bit early since most people don't get out till 5:00). All and all it is very hit and miss if everything will be fresh and in stick or not.

This review will be 5 star when Zehrs decides to stop closing their hot food service at 6! Like come on guys ! 8 is a decent time to close it down. Also when you get a response like well it takes 2 hours to clean but meanwhile you see staff talking to each other non stop sure. Not cool.

Staff in bakery really helpful ...as well as floor / grocery / cashier staff also very friendly and courteous...long lineups all throughout day generally 2 cashier on at a time and instacart shopper cannot opt for self checkout ...makes for unhappy customers as food thaws out quickly ...hopefully this can be solved sooner than later or brought to head office for review

You have a 5 piece tender with a side combo on your website for 8.99. I drive out of my way to your store for the deal. Your employees tell me that Zhers doesn't offer a 5 piece yet it's STILL on your website. If you DON'T offer the combo, don't advertise it for sale. Horrible store. No clean carts available, they are randomly left all over the parking lot. I bought a groceries for over 100 dollars and when needed to go bathroom, they denied to give me key because person was returning several dresses. All I needed to get a key. Very bad customer service.

Zehrs on King Goerge Rd Brantford has a lot of trouble getting sale prices right...so you can get a lot of stuff for free because of their policy with sales. Zehrs on Conestoga in Cambridge has an issue with keeping their restroom clean...not so good. Also, lately there is no paper towel in the mens restroom...only air drier.

Tried PC Express for the first time and was disappointed. At least 10 items on my order were not recieved. A lot of these items were on sale too. I didn't have to pay for the items I didn't receive but that is not the point. Why are they on the website if you don't have them in stock? Now I am going to have to pay again to have the rest of the stuff I need delivered. On a very limited income it's not fair.

This is my regular grocery store. Sometimes I find the prices are a bit high and in the past I've had a few cases where meat was a little past its date but still on shelves but the staff were happy to offer refunds in those cases. Overall it has a decent selection, a pretty good natural foods section and it is always kept clean.

Between the fairview location and this one, I will pick this one every time. This Zehrs is clean, wide aisles, a big store, and there are items there you can't find at Fairview zehrs. Yes, Zehrs is expensive but it depends on what items you are there for and if you are catching a sale or not. If you don't want to pay more than shop somewhere else, say, No frills which has the same president choice products.

Self check outs are inconvenient. They keep pushing to use them when there's a cashier available. The light kept going off every transaction I scanned. Spent more time calling help. Frustrating. The young man working at customer service today was great help! Very friendly! Up until then we had a hard time trying to find help as everyone was ignoring us. The man working at the front entrance, I think must have been the manager, was pretty terrible I must say. I asked him where the carts were and he would not speak to me and instead kept making hand motions where they were. I then asked about a product I was unsure about on my way in and he was very uninterested to help. When I walked away he was mocking the way I asked about the product! Very strange behaviour for a store manager! Yikes. How embarrassing... The lady running the checkout line was also rude! However, I get we are going through a difficult time in the community and it makes workers uneasy. I hope this was the circumstances today! Trust me, I didn’t want to go out in public either but I need groceries after working at the hospital working my duty to help the community as well! This store could really use the young man at customer service (as mentioned above) as a fine example for customer service! :)

My favourite grocery atore locally for several reasons. Large store with large selection. Bakery, Hot Food,ready made Salads, Pharmacy and banking services on sight. Garden centre spring and summer. Way better selection than bargain stores, more expensive than bargain retailers as well. I ussually find the product quality is higher than some competitors.

This Zehrs has a smaller selection than the other in Brantford. Cashiers are very hit or miss, some much nicer than others. Customer service desk is very small and cramped. They won’t tell you about SCOP and you have to ask for it. I don’t really enjoy coming here but sometimes I need to.

For the most part the store is okay. My hugest complaint is your produce. I bought green beans to, for the second time this week and had to throw half if them away because they were bad. This is not the first time and not the only produce. Your produce prices are outrageous and half the time a huge part of it has to be discarded.

I went to get some food from the hot food service and was very disappointed to see that all the trays were not filled with freshly cooked food. This was at 5 pm . I left the called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to a man named Noah. He assured me that if I come back in a half hour he would personally make sure I got what I wanted. True to his word my order was sitting at customer service and he was standing there to apologize for the inconvenience !!! I was very impressed with the way Noah took charge and made sure I was a happy customer . It's people like Noah that make sure I will be a repeat customer !!!! Thanks Noah

At this point I am never going here again. My PC express order was stolen, my Flashfood order has both been missing and thrown out on me. With each issue I've talked to the staff, in some cases the manager, reassured it was a one off experience and won't happen again, and viola it does. It's wasting both my time, money and patience. Save you're breath and do not shop here.

Went to Zehrs a couple of weeks ago and saw a great centerpiece that i wanted to get. Unfortunately they had it on display right where all the customers line up waiting to check out. I asked the lady in line if i could get closer to see the price. Lucky if i could get 2 feet apart. So i thought i will come back another day, when it was not do busy . Of course it was not longer there. I tried to go around the other side but not allowed . They have it all closed off for on line shopping. Not impressed! I understand with this virus we have to be careful, i always do my owm check out . I had a couple beside me. The guy was packing. Like a foot away from me. No one said anything! This store has gone downhill !

I have always shopped at Zehrs, an inherited habit from shopping with my parents as a child. I know the layout, which makes finding what I need really quick. The pricing is always fair. The staff are fantastic.

Went to this store today to shop for a few items. Line up 10 people long with 2 cashiers open. I had a young guy who was wanting to head out on his break with a line up and no back up cash. People in line were not happy. When he couldn’t go for his break he left his register and wandered while I bagged my own groceries. I don’t understand how they will not bag your groceries. Sobeys certainly does. I used to shop here all the time but now Sobeys because the customer experience is much better. Never again. I will drive out of my way to avoid this store and Zehrs. This kid could care less not even a Thank you.

Went to Zehrs bakery on King George Rd Brantford to pick up a birthday cake for me. I asked this young guy Noah for help. He actually found out it was my birthday and bought the cake for me and said happy birthday. This was October 19th around 4:30 or 5:00. Such a pleasant young man

Not happy. Wrong answer ladies and gentlemen... when you have cinnamon raisin buns on a cinnamon raisin bread display, one can only reasonably assume that includes the raisin buns on advertised price. The correct answer would have been we are sorry sir we will give you "WHAT THE SHELF SAYS" the price should be... am I not also entitled to 10$ off for the mistake?

Good store but a lot of the time prices are not clearly labeled and takes long time for them to stock the selves with new products. Store is clean though and nice to shop at. Starbucks was a great addition. Hope they bring back being open until 10 pm soon.

Always long waits at the till when I go which shouldn't happen with their premium prices. I go there for the Presidents Choice products and premium product surprises. Because of the poor service for the price that's the best score I can give.

Tried on line grocery shopping. First experience wasn’t great. Long wait in parking lot for pick up. Charged me for a $4 item that I never received. Tried again few weeks later after contacting the store and they emailed me a no charge month offer. The second time I was charged for TWO items that I didn’t receive totalling $10. I called the store twice requesting a refund on my Visa. No calls back. No refund. Definitely won’t be back. Too bad I really wanted this to work for my busy life. Wrote this review mainly to warn others. Check your receipts and charges!

Be careful to watch product expiry date and best before dates. I've noticed a lot of errors there. Otherwise fresh produce is typically very good. Joe Fresh products are well made and often at great sale prices.

Good selection of grocery items overall. However, the hot food counter has limited options and is usually empty; the bakery section (while large) has a poor selection of items; most of the staff I've encountered have a poor attitude and are not friendly... generally I have a poor experience at this store. I shop here because it is a better store than others in the area, but truthfully I'll often make the 30 minute drive to a Fortinos to avoid disappointment.
