I kind of stumbled across this place as I am not from Brantford but wanted to get something myself and my friend's birthday. The lady that helped my was very pleasant and nice. Everything looked so amazing, I was trying not to buy everything. My friend and I, as well as her family, really enjoyed the cake and the cupcakes!

Because of COVID I couldn't be with my mom to celebrate her 80th birthday. I made a last minute email to see if they could deliver a cake to my mom and they pulled through and I was so happy! The cake was beautiful and from what I hear tasted great!

I love this bakery. They don't judge. LOL Even when I went back the next day and purchased additional cupcakes. My favourite cupcake was when someone was marrying a prince somewhere in the UK I think and they had a special cupcake for that wedding. It was soooo good. When I want to treat myself, this is where I go. Very worth it.

Got a cake for my birthday with the coloured white chocolate drip over the top they didn't do that right it was all wrinkled asked for a teal colour it was practically green it cost over 50 for the smallest size the cake it self was disgustingly dry I could hardly get it down with ice cream and the icing was nasty felt like I was chewing a handful of granulated sugar im very dissappointed to wrtie this review because i was very excited to have a nice cake on my birthday for once but just go buy a 10$ grocery store cake they taste WAY better

First time I tried this bakery was last summer, where a family member brought their carrot cake to a family reunion. This was hands down the best carrot cake I’ve ever had. I don’t enjoy raisins or walnuts in my carrot cake and this is just delicious carrots and cake. With a perfect cream cheese icing. The past couple of weeks I’ve come in to pick up some carrot cake cupcakes for family events and they were a hit! Also picked up some vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. The chocolate went over well, however the vanilla was dry, dense and stale, like it was old. Luckily the carrot cake ones were perfect. Still a bit disappointing with the vanilla ones since they aren’t cheap. If you comes on Tuesdays their cupcakes are only $2 each.

Sweet bakery made the most beautiful cakes for my bridal shower and wedding day!! I showed them photos of what I wanted and they made it happen! The cakes looked as good as they tasted...the most perfect buttercream icing and so many amazing flavors to choose from! I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed how welcoming it was on the outside and how cute it was inside and I heard a lot of things about it and I really wanted to try it and I was really excited about it, but when I brought my nephew with me to get him something and the person that was taking our order seems like she didn’t want us there and just felt rushed, and when I was asking about the favours for cupcakes and cookies she didn’t want to answer me or answer me in a very rude tone, I just felt rushed out the door.

If I could give 0 I would. Dry over-baked cake and the icing tasted like it was smoked or something..very weird taste. Cupcakes were dry too. Almost $60 on a tiny tiny cake and 6 cupcakes and not 1 kid finished their cake. It all ended up in the garbage.

Paid 60.00 for my sons small Birthday cake & the characters on it looked like something a small child would draw. Sprinkles were added for decoration and other than that it was just plain white butter cream. Everyone thought the cake tasted very bland and there was little filling. NO EFFORT went into this cake especially for the price & I should have made it myself. It's a shame Sugar House closed they really knew how to make a cake! I will NEVER purchase a cake through your bakery again..People go somewhere else or be prepared to be disappointed.

I go her regularly for special events or when I want to treat myself. They have vegan, gluten free options as well . The prices are comparable to other bakeries. Staff always there to help. Sweet Bakery really lives up to its name! A gorgeous shop with a wide variety of delicious treats, and exceptional people behind (and in front of) the counter! Last week we bought elegant chocolate cupcakes, so decadent! This week, six fun carrot cake cupcakes, and 1 gluten free of the same. Tried the coffee for the first time today…..it was full bodied and so good. Also had a pecan square sundae (to die for) and a ice cream ‘flakie’ with strawberry filling from the cute little trailer out front.

I wish I can give a zero star review. I rarely if ever write reviews but this was so bad, I have to warn people. I ordered a cake for my partner's birthday and paid extra for extra decorations. When I went to pick it up, it was basically just sprinkles and his name written in icing. When I pointed out that I paid for extra decoration, they said that it was the extra decorating. It wasn't until I pointed out I paid an extra $10 to have rosettes added to it did they finally admit that they didn't do what I paid for and refunded me the $10. It looked like something a child made. The buttercream was grainy and the cake was mediocre at best. Big disappointment. I felt bad serving the cake. It was definitely not worth $35 and it was definitely not professional quality.

The carrot cupcake is hands down the best carrot cake I've ever had. The pecan bar is to die for. Everything I have bought there has been amazing except for the macarons. Both times I had them they were rock hard and hollow inside. But don't let that that discourage you as everything else is great. They also have a nice gluten free and vegan selection. My child loves their sprinkle cookies and asks for them all the time

We ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. She wanted a cake with a tree on it. I called and asked for it to be ANY tree but NOT a Christmas tree. Picked up the cake ..... It was a Christmas tree! I was a bit annoyed at the time, Considering we paid $50 for a small cake I expected to get what I paid for. Other than that the cake was very moist and delicious.

The carrot cake is to die for. The birthday decoration was simple, yet beautiful. Honestly it is the best birthday carrot cake we have ever had. This is our go to favourite from Sweets Bakery. I also ordered the cake cones for our 18 month old grandson. It too was a hit. Wish I took pictures of him eating it. Priceless! Thank you Stacey! ❤️
