I ordered a vegan cake online and it taste really good but I told them specifically that please make sure the cake is exactly same as the picture but they still didn't make it same. they did not add the edible balls on my cake and the balls are the one which makes the cake look more pretty, without the balls it makes the cake so simple. Moreover, their biggest mistake is they wrote happy birthday on my cake instead of ALL THE BEST. As the cake was for a farewell party the whole situation was awkward after receiving the cake. It's your responsibility to read the instructions carefully before making a cake and check the cake once again to match with the instructions before handing over to the customer. This is second time ordering from Rashmi and I am DISAPPOINTED.

This was my first in-person experience at Rashmi's bakery in Mississauga. I Ordered strawberry Divine flavor cake for 10-12 people. I really liked the cake , Well greeted and the way they took the order except that the frosting in the cake is way sweeter. I could feel the flavour but because of excess sweetness I was lacking some taste. My one advise would be to ask the customer if u need less sweetened frosting. I could have given 4 stars, the only reason is It was way sweeter.

We have been buying from this bakery for almost the last 10 years! Over time we have noticed that the cakes have seemed to become pretty dry and the icing/frosting is overall very sweet. Except I will say that for a local and vegan option to have, I still go to them because of how convenient it is for me.

Starting off with my attempt to order online, yhe website did not allow to pick a date in the next week not because the date isnt allowed but because the date widget on their website is broken. And i know the owner is going to try to defend it instead of taking constructive criticism so heres more explanation... I tried booking from different operating systems that i can such as, iphone, windows laptop and a macbook but everything failed! Next tried calling the brampton location, called two times and left two voicemails... No answer, no body returned my call. If i wasnt doing my sister a favor by ordering this minion cake for her son, i would have definitely gone to another bakery, there's la cakery and traditional bakery just around mclaughlin and queen and they are excellent people to deal with in my experience... For eggless my friends go to hot breads and i am sure there are more! Anyway, i decided to walk in to the store with my 3 yr old, the staff is Extremely RUDE and you dont have to start talking about your frustrations, just tell them what kind of cake you want and you can feel it when they open their mouth. You can feel how high headed they are for nothing! They asked my personal information to register me in their system and guess what they need 2 phone numbers haha! I have only one and the girl couldnot take my order if i didnt have another phone number what is that????? Okso i gave my sister's phone number as it only made sense at that time. Hmm! Now i am ordering a mjnion cake and asking questions about the different flavors LISTED on THEIR website! I am asking how choclate and pineapple be layered in the cake because their website gives an option of half choclate and half pineapple!!!! And this weires lady says laughing AT ME! Choclate and pineapple doesnt go together! Whaaaaat you should be laughing at urself! Your website has an option for customers and i am only asking how is that layered kn the cake to know what to expect! She answered both my questions unprofessionally and rudely as if i do not have the right to ask as a customer. She refused to make it lighter in sugar which i can understand if she doesnt have the skill to do at least she is honest! I order my cakes from traditional bakery when i want fruits in my cake and all whipped cream ones and la cakery when i want fancy cakes but both have always accomodated all my preferences and been very friendly and nice! I only just wanted to go out of this negitive stire rashmis bakery and save my self some respect and dignity. If anyone asks me for a favot of ordering a cake for them again, it better not be from Rashmi's and i am a 100% positive that rven if the owner reads the google reciew, instead of taking it constrictively they are going to defend it and never change their attitude because i am not the first one complaining here and clearly it hasnt made much of a difference to them! Thats also why, i do not want to go back to this business again and waste my time!

Excellent customer service by Iqbal at the front desk. We were at the Mississauga bakery, just say 15 mins to closing (thought we still had couple of more hours) and asked for a Black Forrest to be customized to cake with a Batman logo. There was no hesitation or negativity. She helped us with a smile. Our cake was ready in no time and was way much beautiful beyond expectation. I appreciate the excellent work done by Nidhi to decorate the cake so quickly. It almost brought tears in our eyes. We will visit this place again and will recommend it to everyone we come across.

This place was a massive disappointment!! Do not order anything except for simple cakes!! I paid $110 for a custom made cake for my daughter birthday. She wanted a Harry Potter themed cake. I placed my order a week out, emailed a picture of the design we wanted. The girl who took my order told me about all the things she couldn't do and recommend a cake serving for 12 people. I arrived 40 minutes earlier than my pick up time. I still had to wait right upto to the exact delivery order time. I was horrified by what they showed me. It looked like a cake with black forest instead of a castle. The cake was a lot smaller than the cake in the picture. I explained my frustration and they said that would fix it in 10 minutes or so. Well they never fixed anything but to smooth it out the trees and call it a "castle". Now I was very angry with the whole situation. I told them that they called themselves professionals and they provided me with total amateur results. If they couldn't do the order, they should have called back and cancelled my order..the cake was squeezed and didn't offer to add another layer to match my original design. They had taller cakes available.. Both of the girls gave me blank looks and said sorry..I told them that I didn't even feel like taking cake home as it is a total embarrassment. Stop taking orders if you can't deliver what your customers want or provide any satisfaction. What a waste of money and my time! Never again .. You be the judge!

The best thing about this place is; it’s an eggless facility. So the people like me, who can not eat eggs, they can find good variety of cakes and other eggless items here. The staff is also friendly and courteous. The reason of giving only 3 stars is; I found their cakes to be too creamy. Everything should be balanced in the cake but I think they are using the cream more than required. Therefore after having even a small piece of cake, you don’t feel like eating again.

Rashmi's bakery is a family favourite and they have never disappointed us. However, most recently we placed an order for a 2-tiered cake for an engagement party for 250 people. We came to the bakery to try the different flavours to ensure it would be perfect for our event, however, Rashmi's bakery did not meet our expectations. We ordered strawberry divine and red velvet which were delicious when we tried them in store but we were terrible on the day of our event. The strawberry divine did not have any strawberry jam like they promised, it was essentially vanilla flavoured. Both layers were very dry and were crumbling. We were quite embarrassed at our event so I reached out to discuss this over the phone but they simply offered an apology. I do not think I will be placing an order for the wedding cake through Rashmis.

A great place for the vegetarians as all of the cakes and the snacks are eggless. They have limited options for cakes to buy on the spot. Majority of their cakes are custom made on advance orders. Their black forest cake is a must try. They also have really delicious cream rolls and potato patties, which are potatos with spices inside the layers of puff pastry.

Rashmi's Bakery is my "go to bakery" when it comes celebrating birthdays. I have been ordering birthday cakes from them for the past 4 years or more and I've only had one instance whereby the cake was not fresh; the vegan cake we ordered was dry off tasting. Usually their cakes are fresh and declious. I brought the issue to the store's attention and they apologized; it may have been an isolated incident. Never had that experience again with their cakes. If you are health conscious and don't like your cakes too sweet, i recommend the vegan cake. I enjoy the strawberry and pineapple filling. I hope they will consider adding mango filling as another option. Prices are reasonable and excellent quality. Thumbs up!

When I was on the phone I asked them the same questions as before, and they repeated themselves in a polite manner. Normally when people have to repeat themselves they get frustrated. It was a nice change. FAST: I came in for a cake and they wrote on it and I was out the door in about 10 minites. CONVENIENT LOCATION: Normally we have to go to Brampton to get vegan cakes, it was nice to only have to go 10 minutes in rush hour traffic.

Rashmis bakery is really great... But definitely expensive. They willake just about anything for you. They do make vegan and gulten free cakes and pastries. It can't be seen off the road so look for metal works or on a bun signs.. it's further in that plaza. Ordering ahead is definitely recommended.

I ordered vegan cupcakes for my event. I had requested each cupcake be individually wrapped and paid extra for it. My friend and to pick up and when I saw them it was not individually wrapped- he said he asked and they choose to ignore the preference on order. I called them and they provided refund. I was very underwhelmed by the taste and the look for the cupcakes. I asked for red and gold design and it was barely noticeable. The cupcake was sticking to my mouth and overall just bad experience.

When they first opened up their cakes were delicious. I used to order from them all the time. However now, it's just not the same. When it comes to creativity and what they are able to do their skills are lacking. They also have issues following instructions, which is ridiculous because notes are taking down. When I choose a photo and specifically say that I want the whole photo and end up get part of it cropped off, its a problem. Even though I live across the street from the plaza where this store is located I rather drive half an hour away and order my cakes from Polka-dot Cow Cafe.

Update : I have never seen a cake that is as dry as their red velvet. The worst !! No velvet in the red velvet. Just dry crumble. I have tried their cakes before. Never dry. Something about the red velvet , it was soooo bad that even little kids didn't eat it. Just look at the pictures and you can tell how crumbly this cake is. No cream inside and no moisture. Ordered an eggless cake over phone for a friend’s birthday. Very helpful and courteous staff. Politely asked me to refer to many options on their website which is quite detailed anyways. Once I had selected the cake, ordering over the phone was very easy (online ordering option also is there but I am one of those who prefer to talk to humans than computers????). Cake was delivered within the promised time slot and of course I got feedback that it was very tasty. I called them back to pass on my appreciation. Hope they open a branch in Calgary too.

Since I became vegan several years ago I hadn't gotten a stereotypical birthday cake on my birthday. My mom found this place does vegan cakes and got me one this year, and it was delicious. It was light, moist, and the perfect level of sweet. The frosting was delicious and fluffy, and the cake was beautiful. This place used to be one of the BEST bakery for vegetarians who prefer to have eggless cakes, pastries, cupcakes etc etc. Though until recently their quality was top notch, I can't say the same anymore. Since last two times, the cakes we bought were stale and hard as compared to numerous previous times. In addition, they have recently increased price by close to 40% (I.e a regular cake that serves 4 people cost about 22-24 dollars now (it used to be $16) until recently). In past, I tested this place 4.5/5 but at this time, considering drastically decreased quality and increased price at the same time I would not give any more then 2/5.

Placed an order several days in advance for pickup. Sent an email for the design I wanted. Paid over 60 bucks for the cake. When I came to pick up my order I was told they never received the image and as such they never made the cake ( they couldn't even Google it?) Asked them to check thier email again and lo and behold there it was. They then printed the logo quickly on a random cake and handed me that. Looked like something I could get off of Loblaws or something. Not worth the 60 price tag. I heard great things about this place and was looking to order a wedding cake but will take my business elsewhere. Poor service.

They USED TO have the best cakes in town but now the quality of their cakes has gone down enormously. We have ordered 3 cakes from them in the month of December and we are extremely disappointed with the quality. Cakes had too much food color (especially the red color with which they make flower). Cakes were too sweet and we felt they were not fresh. There was too much cream on them. I even felt sick the next morning after eating their cake (I'm not sure what was the reason). They shouldn't compromise with their quality if they want to grow big. I have been ordering from them since 2016 and their quality used to be so much better than what it is right now. I think the main reason might be the owners have a opened up a new location and probably they're not present at this location as often. I wish them best for future.

I was shopping for a cake last minute and many places were closed early due to Thanksgiving, so I decided to give Rashmi's bakery a try and I was pleasantly surprised! They made custom Red velvet cake for me in 30min with pretty décor on top, ladies at the front were also extremely friendly and professional. Cake tasted delicious and not heavy (unlike other red velvet cakes I tried). I will be definitely coming back!

I called twice, the first lady said I should pay half at the time of order and half later. Then when I called to finalize the order, it was someone else and full amount was charged at once. I wasn't informed of this over this call, but I let it go. I was asked to email the image I wanted to print. I did. I confirmed with the second lady on the phone if she has seen my email. I was told there is a similar cake on the website, I told them SPECIFICALLY I did not want that design. I wanted the one from my email. Come deliver day. I called half an hour before the delivery time, to confirm cake was ready for pick up. When I did reach the store, they brought the cake and the image was not the one I sent. It was from the cake on the website!!! HOW? I had asked very specifically to not print the image from their website but use the one I had sent. How then does this mistake happen? Apology was very half hearted. They printed the image I'd sent, and put in ON TOP of the other. Result? THE TOP LAYER TASTED DISGUSTING. The only saviour was the taste of the remaining cake. For a surprise I was throwing for my husband, you for sure ruined my mood. I will not be recommending gtem to anyone I know.

Stopped in here on my route to pick up a package (UPS) and was immediately welcomed by delicious smells! After finishing my business I asked the young lady what was in the warming display and she let me know about these potato patties and said they were "the best ever". She was not wrong. Thee best $2 I've ever spent!! Super delicious. Will be back again! Can't wait to try some other treats. Worth a visit.

We ordered a gluten free vanilla cake with real strawberry filling. Some feedback: 1) We needed a smaller size (this one fed 8-10 people) and it was way too big for our needs. When asking for it, we were advised this was the smallest size available. 2) Too much icing and too sweet 3) Ingredients - it's amazing that Rashmi's Bakery offers gluten free as an option. However, we recommend that you provide a list of ingredients that are used to make the cake on the cake box (similar to retail stores). 4) More fruit - doesn't seem like this was $5 worth of strawberries Overall - despite this feedback - this is one of the best gluten free cakes we've ever had! If you can use this information as feedback, we will definitely become reoccurring customers.

Called me halfway through my drive back to tell me that my gluten free cake had been switched with a regular one. I came back to pick up my Gluten Free cake. Horrible taste!! The base was hard as cardboard with incredibly bitter tasting cream at the end. Had to buy a Loblaw's GF cake in the end which cost half the price and tasted much better. Will never go back again. They don't know how to make Gluten Free cake!!!

The cake here was not bad (nothing extraordinary though).. However the pastries are total disappointment. First time we thought it's due to combo-pack (4 pastries pack, in 12 dollars) which could be old lot, however today we purchased in morning and we're told that they are baked early morning - the base was way too dry to enjoy, as before and consistency of hay (cream on top was good though). See it yourself

Rashmi's Bakery was the best experience from start to finish. I went in on such short notice, a day before I needed the cake. Their customer service was great. They were accommodating and helpful. I did not give them much direction on how to decorate the cake but they went above and beyond my expectations. The pirice is fair and totally worth every penny. We had the marble cake with chocolate filling and it was literally one of the best cakes I've ever had. Everyone was looking for seconds!

Great place for tasty cakes and pastries. Got a 5 letter cake for my boy and was amazing. Downside is the concept of number of people to size of cake. Like if they say cake for 25 people it can be easily eaten by 40people. Pricing is on the higher side but service and quality stands out.

I am disappointed with the customer service I received and the cake I ordered. I ordered a red velvet cake which tasted nothing like red velvet, but rather a basic chocolate cake instead. Paying extra for red velvet, I’d expect it to actually taste like the flavour. Definitely not worth the money. The customer service at the shop could use some work as well, I don’t understand why being polite is a hard thing to do. Try working on respecting your customers as they are the ones who are giving you your business.

Ordered an egg less chocolate - vanilla marble cake for my friend's engagement ceremony. The cake stuck together and did not fall apart even after a bumpy ride from the bakery to the banquet hall. The cake was well decorated and had a delicious and evenly spread frosting which gave a moist texture, but not soggy. Everyone at the ceremony enjoyed the cake very much.

I ordered a photo cake with my daughter's favourite k pop group on it for her birthday 2 days ago and I was blown away at how beautiful it was when I saw it.. the picture shown doesn't even do justice to how beautiful it looked in person! I'm not entirely satisfied with the service. After I paid for delivery at noon, I was told that the cake is delivered in two hour wibdows, so 11 to 1 pm. Then the cake was late. I didn't appreciate that info was kept from me until after I had paid. The cake, however, was delicious. I chose the mango cream one and the guests loved it.

On the website it stated that they have walk in pick ups and in stocked gluten free cakes. Called the day before the verify this. The Brampton location said yes, they carry 4 different selections of gluten free cakes to walk in and pick up and no need to order. The next day we go to pick up a cake and they said they don't have any and we need to order. Even when I mentioned that both their website and the person whom we spoken to the day before said they have gluten free cakes in stock daily and we can come pick up. We had to place an order and come back later. The cake was beautifully decorated and the icing was delicious. However, I found the cake to be very dense and tasteless. I do understand that the gluten free cakes are different textures however, I have had much better gluten free cake from storebought dufflet cake as well as bakeries in Toronto. I know and have tried delicious gluten free cakes in the past and it is definitely not from this store.

I was told by my friend (i thought he was my friend) that this establishment has good cakes. My total commute was about 120 kms which took about 3 hours in the traffic to go and pick up two cakes and I wasted three hours of my life which I'll never get it back. Don't think they have a very highly experienced pastry chef working there. Cakes are extremely sweet and chewy and it sticks like glue in your mouth. Wish I can get back those three hours.

Happy about the response and the cake making. It was my daughter 4th birthday. We ordered pappa pig cake with some one and during last minute they messed up on delivery on time. I called Rashmi's bakery and they took pappa pig order before closing time of shop and gave in 20 mins. Finally my daughter birthday was fulfilled with her favourite peppa pig cake. Very expensive but worst cake I've ever ordered. They charged me $110 for 8" cake which was complete disaster. First they made mistake in design. Unfortunately my brother picked it up as I was not available and I got to know when I reached home about the mistake. They said bring the cake and they'll fix it but i was already 2 hours away so they said they'll give 15% off of next order which I will never place again. Other thing, what type of color they used to decorate the cake I don't know but everyone in the family had to literally scrub hands, lips to remove that dark brown black color. The taste was also below average. I literally wasted $110 without any refund. Please save your money and order somewhere else than this place.

Terrible Customer Service. Arrogant Attitude. Immature conversations playing blame game. Taste - 5/10. Asked for a simple cake for my Daughters Birthday with an Extra Layer. Received half an extra layer and the cake layers did not stay together. The whole cake shifted. With Customer Service telling me that they are sure I didn’t hold it properly, unwilling to listen to the fact that they should have added support to such a large cake. Update: they gave me $20 store credit valid for 8 months for my next visit. However, my daughters birthday can’t be made up for.

Overall this is a great bakery. I recommend the plain vanilla cake. However, when I got a cake for a new year and my friend anniversary they put a plastic clock on it. When we took the clock off it was just plain. We told the lady to put " happy anniversary "on top but she put " happy anniversary " on the side of the cake. Without asking me. Then, she didn't tell us that there were pieces which cannot be eaten! My friend almost chokes on eating one of those pieces. I could of give this bakery a 2 star but you have given me amazing cakes before. I hope this doesn't happen again.

Their cakes are very good when it comes to flavor, but they desperately need to hire someone with design talent. Even cakes with basic icing design, come out very poorly. This lack of design talent, and lack of attention to detail (they do not write what you tell them to write on the cake) really lowers the overall rating they could potentially receive. And the flavours of cakes and cupcakes were so delecious. Really appreciated all their effort that they are putting to make their customers satisfy. Especially hats off to the baker who made all the cakes in a very short time.

They are the worst ever bakery I have ever ordered from. They charged 268$ for a cake that they made WRONG!!! An email was sent to them but no answer and when you call, the staff Disha says that go do whatever you want, I don’t care. Pathetic! And when you ask to speak to the manager, she says I’m busy. I highly recommend to not use this bakery as the staff and the owner have no sense of how to treat a customer.

One of the few eggless bakeries around. However, sometimes the smaller portioned cake slices are not fresh. You can tell by the dried out crust that forms on the outside of the cake slices. It's a hit or miss on flavours.
