Where do I begin? I like this place, I really do. What I do not like is the recent makeover. Prior to this it was homey , quaint and cozy. Now it has a modern, cold, industrial feel to it. Not a fan. The servers seem to have no direction right now and service is slooow. I recently bought a whole vegetable pizza and bought a Gateau Marguerite a l'orange. I was charged $15.00 TOTAL!!!! Way under the price that should have been in the $40+ mark. The servers seem unsure of everything happening about them. I see the faces of customers around me, also seem either unsure of what is happening or annoyed with the wait time of a simple purchase. Simply put it's hairy beery right now at Pains & Saveurs! On the plus, they have a lot of fine products like the Lemon tart and gateau Marguerite a l'orange are just a few. The vegetable pizza is delicious and they really know how to make a fine crust on their pizzas. Hope everything gets sorted out in the near future, like I said, I really do like this place and I do plan on going back.

Un probleme de produits donc, au niveaubde la variété et de la quantité, ça aussi ça fait partie de l'offre minimum quand on se positionne sur votre créneau. C'est un peu frustrant de pousser la porte dans votre magasin a 4h00 de l'apres midi et de se retrouver a devoir choisir entre 2 pauvres petites tartelettes, et plus de pain... et non un gâteau congelé ne fera pas la job quand on souhaite le deguster dans les 2 ou 3h00... Ça tue un peu votre positionnement... Il faudrait redresser le tir, je vous rappelle qu'une autre boulangerie a ouvert au centre ville et il semble que la file d'attente chez eux s'allonge...

Stopped in for a fancy coffee with my partner. We both ordered almond milk capucinos. They came out like lattes, which is ok. But they were also pretty sweet. I do love this place for its location. It's the only nice coffee shop on the 116 between Longueuil and mcmasterville as far as I know. It's very rarely over crowded and the service is quite fast. Delicious homemade breads and croissants! Butter croissants, pain au chocolat (chocolatine), or my all time favourite, almond croissant, soooo delicious! They also have a deli counter and a small sitting area. They have a small frozen section of meals prepared onsite, the "coq au vin" is ready to eat,put it in a serving dish, and pop it in the micro. Add a salad(they sell prepared salads) with the fresh bread you just picked up and "Voila"! A couple of decadent desserts all with a great red wine...so ummmmm! I have never had anything bad from this place and the cookies....!!!
