I tried so many mexicain places in Mtl and around, this is probably the most authentic one, especially because it's the first time I find tamales on the menu in Canada! Prices are reasonable and the product they sell at the store are pretty interesting too. I definetely recommend.

If there is one thing I've always found was missing in the takeout food landscape here it was proper good Mexican cuisine. Jarocho's food is SUBLIME. Authentic, fresh, perfectly spiced, generous fillings, delicious condiments, tender tortillas. There is art in simplicity and Jarocho's is a master artist. No fussy topping...just the basics, but they know enough to let the basics shine. The pollo al pastor and the carnitas tacos were standouts, but all options are wonderful. Delicious from first smell to last bite. I will not hesitate to eat here again and I wholeheartedly recommend Jarocho's to everyone looking for delicious Mexican food. I can't wait to return when they have empanadas and churros stocked up!

The crust of the chicken empanada lacked cooking, and the filling seemed more like potato than meat. Everything is served in single-use dishes even if we eat there. J’ai pris les tacos al pastor qui étaient quand même bien. La croûte du empanada au poulet manquait de cuisson et la garniture me semblait plus à la pomme de terre qu’à la viande. Tout est servi dans des plats à usage unique même si on mange sur place. J’y retournerai pour les produits. 7/10
