Made a detour to pick up some croissants for the 5 hour drive home after seeing positive reviews. Do not make this mistake - or the other mistake I made if ordering 2 cheese croissants and not watching them put them in the bag. Started driving home and despite ordering and paying for 2 cheese croissants, found that I had been given a raspberry croissant and a cream cheese filled pastry? No idea how those items could be mistaken for cheese croissants. Since I don't like raspberries or cream cheese, extremely unsatisfied.

Been there twice, the young lady working there is kinda rude and pushy. I only buy cannoli and lobster tails there and the filling cream is not good. Taste a bit mushy and too sweet. The cream can literally flow out of the pastry. So far Patisserie Alati is the best I’ve had and it’s worth the driving from Brossard to St-Leonard once a while. Can’t beat the authentic Italian pastries.

Friendly service and lots of cakes to select from. A lot of them are kept frozen, so you do have to wait 3-4 hours before you can dig in. Also, a lot of them are not kept frozen, so you need to preorder them, don't make the same mistake as I did, buying the cake at the last minute.

Original post: Been here a few times and the service is always good and friendly. The pastries are good and so are their cakes. Edited: I ordered a customized cake for my daughter’s birthday and when I came to pick it up there was a piece that was broken. They couldn’t fix it since they didn’t have the tools they said, so they gave $10 off. I ultimately would’ve taken a repair over the compensation but since they could not accommodate to that, I took it. Was really disappointed. So I originally gave you 5 stars but have changed it to 3.

He treated me to a complimentary espresso because I asked about his beans. He then finalized my order. Easily accessible from Main arteries in the area for locals or visitors alike, they're famous for their unforgettable cakes and pastries. The owner at this franchise, and her staff, are all very friendly and helpful. They also have a selection of freshly baked Italian-style pizzas in a variety of flavours. Alongside their plethora of local and imported Italian eats, their selection of high quality traditional Italian cured cacciatore and sopressata was very nice as well! (fun note: the cacciatore and sopressata (both provided by local producer "Prosciutiffico Johnny" at the time of this review,) Gave me hardcore nostalgia of my nonno (grandfather) cutting up cold cuts for my cousins and I, when I was a kid! Great quality eats, here. My personal favorite, and usually a complete hit with everyone, is the brownie cheesecake, but you can pick up anything and it will likely be delicious. Stop in! You won't regret it!

Worth a mention: everything else they sell is also great, but the canolis are my first choice. Why not 5 stars then, you ask? The girl at the counter could have at least greeted her customer or said thank you (or something similar) once the purchase was completed. Lack of courtesy. That's usually not my experience but it was last time I stopped by...

Ordered the fresh chocolate strawberry shortcake for my husband's birthday. It's the end of September so it's no longer strawberry season but the cake was DELICIOUS and moist and the strawberries were so sweet rather than tart. Honestly, I’ve been to the one in st Leonard and you can’t compare.. This place is horrible. I recieved old pastries. They leave out some samples for you to try their “fabulous Italian pastries” yet those samples...are dry and have been out for weeks. I’d suggest to the owners to come in and revamp their shop. My gf got sick over your zepoles which were not traditional zepoles by the way. They were horrible. I’m an Italian living in the south shore looking for a better pastry. Thank you for ruining my experience. I’ll stick to the st leo one.

I’ve been using this bakery for every occasion and even for those days you just want something sweet. Things have gone downhill. For example, the bottom layer of a carrot cake was black and had to be discarded last month. Wasted money on a way overdone lobster tail. I shrugged those off because everyone can have an off day. Today though, no excuses - I paid for biscottis and a double chocolate coffee cake. Right before leaving, I noticed fluffy white mold spots on the cake. I pointed them out and the cashier checked with 2 other workers. The middle aged lady questioned that it was unsellable. No apology given. No acknowledgment at all. We were refunded by a different (very nice and efficient) employee, but still not even a “sorry about that”. Got home with the biscotti labeled oatmeal chocolate chip to discover it’s some sort of hazelnut. Thank goodness I noticed before my sister tried it. She can eat nut-free products that “may contain traces” but she cannot eat actual nuts. This is dangerous and beyond a simple mistake. I wanted to contact your business directly instead of immediately writing a public review but I saw no contact info other than to order custom cakes.

My friends and I purchased a custom cake for our friend. When we placed the order, we told them for how many people, and that we wanted a space themed cake for a 24 year old. They did not advise us how much it would cost until we picked up the cake. The cake itself, was so disappointing. Although we specified it was for a 24 year old, they made it looking like it was a child’s cake who just turned 5. On top of that, the piping on the border of the cake was so inconsistent, it looked like a 5 year old had made it. Not at all worth the $130 , never going to waste my money and order a cake from them again.

Great bakery always fresh and the staff and owners are sweethearts they always have a smile and make you feel very welcome. On one evening I was on my way to a friends place and wanted to bring some pastries and my friend called me and asked me if I could bring an onion cuz he was missing an onion for one of his dishes. I had already left my home so I would have had to stop at a grocery store for his onion. I got to the bakery and my wife and I were picking out our pastries and very shyly I whispered to my wife “ do u think they would have an onion here by any chance” And the woman behind the counter looked pretty friendly so I asked and she was so sweet she went in the back and literally brought the whole 10 pound bag of onions out and said “ go ahead take a couple “ that was so kind of her. I only needed one and even tried so hard to pay for it but she did not accept my money. That was so nice and appreciated.

This pastry was recommended by some friends but our experience wasn't that great. The service was actually quite good but the quality of the pastries weren't. The Mille feuilles were fine but their triamitsu in small containers were subpar. Full of cheap heavy cream on the top, no real mascapone cheese can be found... we bought 5 of them to share with family and no one is impressed by it. To be fairly honest, the Triamitsu in individual cup that we bought from Costco tasted a lot better than what we paid more than double from here....
