Beat bakery on the south shore hands down. I've been going there for years since I was a child living nearby and the owner is lovely. Everything I've bought there has been delicious and I swear I dream about their sugar pie at night sometimes not to mention their maple donuts, oatmeal raisin cookies, cinnamon apple bread... We went there for the first time this morning. The lady was extremely nice and friendly. We had two croissants and two coffees and took a big bread and a strawberry pie. We told her it's our first time here and she didn't let us pay, gave everything to us for free! I would certainly go back there and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for quality pastry.
