Excellent cake Makers. We highly recommend to everyone. We have ordered my son's first birthday cake which has starts and moon theme. Rebecca who made our cake did an excellent job. Everyone in the party were soo satisfied with the taste and also appreciated for the way the cake was made. Reasonable price too.

The only spot I've ordered cakes from, for years - for any occasion, big or small. The icing is decadent, the cake is moist. The attention to detail is outstanding. Each cake has been a piece of art. The cupcakes are so beautifully decorated and have such fun, original flavors. The cake pops and cookie sandwiches are a huge hit with my kids. They also have celebration boxes which are displayed in a lovely box and full of goodies. They're perfect for those who don't like cake or if you want to try something different - my 5 year old son loved his 'Birthday Box' - highly recommend. Everything and anything you order from Sugar City will satisfy your sweet tooth and will receive compliment after compliment. The team here truly put their hearts into making your vision come to life. They are wonderful people and their customer service is second to none. From a large cake that serves 20 people, or a small 4" cake to serve 4 people, you will be coming back for more. Barrie's BEST, hands down.

OMG!!!! We discovered this place purely by accident... The BEST cupcakes EVER!!! Blu from the Su has fresh blueberry pie on top and inside - they bake the pie fresh every day!!! And there's one with a BUTTERTART BAKED INSIDE!!!! You've gotta try these... totally addictive. I promised my BF a cupcake if he'd go bike shopping with me and this was the only proper bakery we could find in Barrie that was open after 3 on a Sunday. Thank God the rest were closed. It was out of our way, but well worth the drive as he was sooooo happy! If you love cupcakes, butter tarts, blueberry pie, chocolate, this place is heaven. I am never gonna lose weight like this. But I am gonna die happy :)

A fantastic little artisan bakery. Great service and the prices are excellent. Any questions you have about product are easily answered by the super friendly staff. Personal favourite is the chocolate Halifax Explosion. Do yourself a favour and pay the place a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Well suger city cup cakes should only make Cup cakes, that's what I'm giving you 1 star, My girl friend thought it will be nice to surprise me with a birthday cake for a party we where having , she called 2weeks in advance, she was told that a cake designer will contract her. First week went by she didn't her anything. So she called last week on Saturday before the party on week day. She was told that they wanted to talk to her about the accents on the cake. She told them it's simple and when she gave the deposit she told how she wanted it blue cake with brown accents. It was even written on the order sheet, Still no one called her so she called back on day of and was told the cake will be ready. Once she got the cake it turn out to be white cake with blue accents not what she wanted and not what she order they had one job to do and couldn't even get colours right, she payed them the 35 dollars for the cake becuse she didn't have choice, but left the store feeling like she could have went to local groceries store and got one ,she was so upset about the whole experience when she told the cashier she took a note and didn't even offer her a discount, The cake tasted ok wasn't noting special it really just feel apart in the middle and the icing in the middle was too thick, should have been more softer. I don't write reviews but the look and feel she felt made me upset because she had planed this party for a month ago and told everyone about it. My conclusion to this whole experience is that sugar city cupcakes should stick to just making cupcakes and don't have a time in making cakes for anyone it seems cakes are too much of a big job for them and they need to hire a designer that will actually contact with the customer.

Called with short notice to get a cake for my sisters gender reveal party - the customer service was amazing and the cake was delicious! The cake was the reveal and they did a great job at hiding any evidence from any peekers! Not a piece of cake left after the party!!

Able to accommodate a late order and provided a beautiful assortment of cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. The cupcakes were moist, delicious, and not overly sweet. The service was above and beyond. I really appreciated the special cupcake for the bday girl too!

March 23, 2019 staff was completely rude and seemed annoyed that we were there to buy cupcakes. If you have a question you better be ready for the short answer. I was there to taste test some cupcakes for my upcoming wedding where I was going to buy 250+. Now I need to source a different bakery.

I'm only giving 1 star because I ordered 6 dozen mini cupcakes for a bridal shower and they looked horrible! All of the icing was stuck to the plastic containers they came in. They were not ready on time either. The person I spoke to at the Mapleview location when I ordered was rude and not helpful at all. The person my husband spoke to at the Bayfield location was rude as well. These cupcakes cost a lot of money, I don't mind paying for something that is worth the money but these cupcakes were not worth the money. I will not be using Sugar City again.

We used Sugar City Cupcakes to make cupcakes for our daughter-in-laws baby shower. They not only provided amazing cupcakes but their customer service went above and beyond. Unfortunately we had arranged for a pickup on a weekday, and as we work in Toronto, traffic made us late. The staff understood our predicament and rose to the occasion to accommodate us. This company is one of the best we have ever done business with and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!! Thank you for your wonderful customer service and your amazing cupcakes!!!

Got a 6 inch cake for my sisters birthday from here .... honestly it was the best cake I have ever had! It was chocolate cake with butter cream icing and honestly the cake and the icing were equally as great! The cake was moist and the icing just the right amount of sweet. I will be back for sure! Just ordered my 5th cake from Sugar City Cupcake, I have already ordered 4 birthday cakes from them in the past 3 years, all of them a themed birthday (1st - Mickey, 2nd - Hotwheels, 40th - Arcade Joystick, and 50th - Golfing) and I have given them a few ideas with picture examples (Joystick was without) and they have always turned out amazing. The detail is always great and the vanilla cake with vanilla cream frosting is delicious. Highly recommended

I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! We were already warned about the terrible customer service, but thought we would give them a chance. Don't waste your time here!

The owner is super sweet just like her cupcakes.... There is this amazing promotion that you can sign up for where you get a 4" cakr for your birthday...
