If I could give 10 stars I would. I had a chicken cutlet sandwich, and it was Devine. Messy as it should be, the bun was extremely fresh, chicken was moist. I'll definitely be back and recommending this place to all my friends. Thanks for a great lunch !

Heard a new Italian Bakery opened in South West Barrie from one of my work colleagues, he said it was great... he was right!! all the staff there were really friendly and accommodating and you could tell they had a passion for the place succeeding. The CANNOLIS... Mygod the cannolis! They're literally the best I've had, nothing compares to their chocolate chip cannolis! In addition, they've got a fantastic assortment of desserts and baked goods and they're all great. From baby cheesecakes to butter tarts to various pastries. Lastly their espresso and espresso drinks are really good as well. If you're local and haven't been to Licious... It's time. The staff are lovely and you can't go wrong with any of the food. If you're driving through - it's 5 minutes off the 400, west on Mapleview. Go here on the way to (and from) the cottage. I'm telling you, they're the best cannolis you'll have!

Visited this cafe a few weeks back, was in the area and wanted a nice coffee. Saw they had cannolis, and so glad we visited because they are the best!! Also the latte was made to perfection with care! Definitely recommend and will visit in the future!

Today I brought my family to the bakery for lunch and oh my gosh the visit was incredible. We were greeted by the staff with a warm and welcoming smile. I had the veg sandwich with a pumpkin spice latte and both we incredible! My kids had the veal sandwich and pasta with meat balls and they loved it! The kids also had a treat for dessert and they had the cannolis brownies and cookies and not a crumb was left! Each item we purchased was delivered to the table. I highly suggest wonderful place for coffee/snack/ or a meal!

Absolutely incredible!!!! Don't even know where to start, the customer service is 10/10 Such a warm place to come into! First time in and in already hooked! I can't wait to try the full menu! Veal sandwich is my go to and this one HIT THE SPOT!!! Nice size portions and not chincy on the toppings! Very happy to have found this gem. All staff were wearing masks and they have a nice set up inside the store! Thank you again to the whole crew will be back for sure!

Best Pasta and Deserts ever!!!

We only had two desserts here because they were almost out of everything an hour before closing on Sunday. The two things we tried were tiramisu and coconut brownie (I think that's what it was called). Both delicious. The prices are a little high as I paid $10 for two things, but the desserts were not a rip off. They both tasted very rich and delicious.

The staff are very friendly and I really like the cannolis. I ordered the pasta of the day off of DoorDash and unfortunately, the pasta was so overcooked they were falling apart and mushy. I think it may have been in the hot table for too long or the temperature is too hot. I will be back for a cannoli, though.

Stopped in this morning for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I drink my coffee black so I am a bit of a stickler and it didnt disappoint and was a perfect counterpoint to delicious bombolini that had to have been made fresh that morning. It was so good I popped in again this afternoon for another cup of coffee and this time a cannoli. Wow is all I can say about the cannoli, clearly fresh with a great just fried crunch. I will be back another time for lunch to try the amazing looking sandwiches.

Visited Licious for our first time and we were not disappointed! As you can see in the photos, the sandwiches were huge, super fresh, and loaded! We also ordered the Raspberry pomegranate lemonade , and was so refreshing! To finish off we tried a couple of the desserts. The service was amazing, and the owner Rosie made sure we were satisfied from the moment we came in until the moment we left. Will be returning many more times in the future and will refer everyone to try out this hidden gem!

I decided to try this Italian bakery after hearing from my cousin that the veal sandwich he had gotten was amazing. I've tried the rice balls, lasagna, chicken, pasta as well as their desserts and everything was out standing! I happen to be a huge foodie and have a strong love for Italian food. I've eaten at many places across Ontario and I typically don't write reviews, however I felt this time it was necessary. The portions are huge and the prices are incredible. I get at least two meals out of the 3 choice plate they offer. The service is also 5 stars ( I would give more if possible). I'm looking forward to getting food from my new favorite Italian bakery again sometime soon!

I have driven by this place a lot and decided to step in. The two women behind the counter were absolutely lovely, top notch customer service. I got the veal sandwich which was made quite promptly and tasted phenomenal, a real proper mess to eat with the amount of sauce they use. Which I love in an Italian snadwhich. Would absolutely recomend.

Finally tried this place nothing but good feedback from friends and relatives in our community. They recommend I try their signature sandwich it was delicious my wife had the stuffed meatball sandwich And the kids had the pasta and meatballs all very delicious and then topped it off with some delicious pastries. The bill was surprisingly decent, thought they had forgotten to maybe add an order. The staff were very friendly, helpful and very patient as we didn't know what we wanted. A real hidden gem.

Decided to give this place a try, and I'm glad that I did. I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and customer serviceI received. I've had many authentic Italian veal sandwiches before, and I can confidently say that Licious' veal offerings ranks right up there with the best. Also, major kudos for catering to people who enjoy a spicier meal, the hot peppers and chili oil paste is a perfect amount of heat and is incredibly delicious! With such strong first impression, there's no doubt that I'll be back. Well done!

I had originally gone to a new restaurant that opened up called California sandwiches. The wait time was atrocious and I ended up walking out after half an hour when told that my sandwich won’t be ready for another 20 minutes. I then came here at Licious and as I sit here finishing my exquisite veal sandwich,I must say, that this is as good as it gets anywhere I have been over the years. The service, the attitude and the complete attention to quality and detail is noticeable as soon as you enter the premises.

I had spent many years enjoying amazing Italian homemade food with my husband’s family almost every Sunday for dinner. Have not had any for many years. My daughter tried this new shop when visiting family in Barrie, and raved about it. Being from Toronto, I was afraid I would never get the chance to try exceptional homemade Italian food again. My daughter placed an order for both our families, and picked it up and brought it back to Toronto. We had the lasagna, (and I make a pretty good mange-cake version), but I must say, for me, this was the best one I have ever had. From the homemade sauce and noodles, to the perfectly seasoned meat, and melted mozarella (added a few minutes before it was finished cooking so it wouldn’t burn), this meal exceeded my expectations. The cannoli, Portuguese tarts, eclairs, bread and cold cuts were so mouth watering and delicious. I would seriously consider moving to Barrie just to enjoy this food regularly. Thank you Liscious for the extra work to prepare homemade healthy food that brought back wonderful memories of good food, laughter, and family. A wonderful experience during a time when families must stay apart.

I stopped in for my first time this morning, Let me say this first.. the layout of the bakery looks amazing, modern and clean. I was told from a few friends about this place that I needed to go try them out so here I am writing my review So let’s start with the customer service ! I walked in wanting to get a hot meal ... so obviously I asked if the hot table was open, the reply from the young lady behind the counter was that everything is now cooked and prepared in the back due to covid, and also to reassure the safety for all the customers when ordering so all customers stay the proper distance from each other ... I absolutely love that .... I see other places that don’t do this ... and it’s a great idea , very happy to see how far and beyond they went when it came to the customers safety .. after my purchase she even sanitized the debut machine !! This must but the first time since covid that I’ve seen a employee sanitize the debut machine after it’s used ... reassuring safety for the next customer ... Okay so now the food ! ... So too start it off I wanted a meatball sub .. but since I’m a picky person I asked if it’s possible to make it another way that’s less messy ? Again .. I’m a picky person... so what they did for me was instead of putting it in the Italian bun they cut out the top of a Kaiser bun and put the meatballs inside with my preferred toppings ( mushrooms , sweet peppers and mozzarella ). And let me tell you that was one of the best meatballs sandwiches I’ve ever had .... and also much easier to eat ... it was like a bowl , soooooo good . And knowing that they are willing to customize you’re order to assure the best possible experience shows how much they care ... I also got a pumpkin spice latte with a shot of salted Carmel .... and coming from a person that goes to Starbucks and Tim hortons .... this was fantastic, and you can’t beat the price compared to Starbucks ... I’ve also heard a lot of good things about their iced coffee ! So that’s the next drink I’m getting when I come back ! Thanks for the food Licious family ! And everyone should really check this place out ... you’re missing out !

My office orders from here regularly, and are never disappointed. Really I should give LICIOUS a 5 plus! A colleague and I ordered sandwiches for pick up. These were huge and smelled so great even through the take out bag. Got to work and were swamped so we couldn't even eat them at the time....ate them about 20 minutes later and they smelled AND looked like we just picked them up. Meant to take a picture but just had to dig in....It was so YUMMY.....everything was fresh, the chicken wasn't dry at all and oh so messy! Not to mention that the owner was just so wonderful and polite and offered superb customer service!

The food here is delicious, the baked goods are amazing. My gf woke up super excited to go grab a box of baked goods and a sandwich today, we were super disappointed when we noticed the woman at the counter was wearing her mask around her chin, not covering her mouth. Another woman came out of the back to refill the pasta and didn't have one on at all. We had to walk out. Regardless of your politics on masks, when preparing and serving food they should be worn. Total bummer, we won't be going back and we frequented it a few times a week. If you're going to have a sign on the door requiring customers to wear a mask because it's the law... as an update to the comment below, I apologize.. she came out of the back to do something, it was just in the area your pasta usually is. My mistake. I didn't want to get close enough to see what she was actually doing and I didn't really care. . The point is she was in the back without a mask and came to the front without one, and the cashier was wearing hers around her chin not covering her mouth, and she was walking behind the food counter as well.

Delightful experience and delicious baked goods. The only thing better than the taste of their pastries was how great their customer experience was. This is an example of how small business should be run. The whole team, from the person who answered the phone when I called to pre-order to the owner who chatted me up at pick up, was genuinely engaged and seemed to look for ways to exceed my expectations. We r regulars at this italian bakery. I have always found it extremely clean and very well santized . My whole family comes here for hot and cold coffees. We have had some of their baking goods and sandwiches. Their food is extremely fresh along with their drinks! I recommend them to my family and friends. They r friendly and very helpful and amazing family business! We come here at least three times a week we love it! They have even opened early for us seeing us outside!

I just ordered the chicken parmesan and it came with rigatoni pasta and grilled vegies..the best ive had ever..They threw in a couple meatballs to sample which was nice and they were out of this world..will never order italian food from anywhere else..the father and daughter that i met are extremely nice and friendly and they do go that extra mile for thier customers..try it i guarantee you ...you will love it.

I have been eating Italian sandwiches since I came out of my mothers womb. I ordered a veal sandwich with cheese, mushroom and sweet peppers. First off, the cheese is so rubbery; the veal is not edible at all, it was not breaded properly or even breaded from the looks of it, and on top of that it was extremely tough and leathery. Even though mushrooms can be eaten raw, it was so undercooked and cold.

A lot of places have been losing their touch but Licious has not. Haven't got the chance to know the staff well but they were so amazing and I will always give them my support. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
