Very expensive for what you get. I would not recommend this place... Extremely overpriced! It is after all a very simple Bakery with a small variety of items to choose from. Their prices should be much more reasonable for what they are offering. They also sell some ready-made things and for example one average size jar of pasta sauce was like $11 which you could buy the same for three or four dollars at Loblaws!

Been three times. People are super nice but for some reason I haven’t really enjoyed their food. I would like to just get a crusty loaf or buns but I’ve never seen it. So I’ve tried other items and not really a fan. So sorry.

I bought a pkg of butter tarts and they wers AWFUL!!! Dry, no runny butter sauce, and overpacked in raisins. Definitely NOT prize worthy....

This was our first time there. The brownies taste good, the staff are friendly, and the place has a cozy atmosphere. We came on a Saturday, so there weren't many items left to choose from, so we'll try to come there again closer to the middle of the week.

Hot Cross buns have very little chopped up raisins. Perfect more whole raisins. Average of one dried fruit per bun. Perfect a ot more dried fruit. Disappointed

Best muffins ever. Crunchy top and delish bottom. Lovely manager. Would have given five but haven't tried everything. I will be back!! It's hidden on king Street in a unit beside the spa.????

I just tried to eat your meat Lasagna (1.7 kg) and it was terrible. Cooked as per your directions. I believe you forgot the tomato sauce, the lasagna was dry, so dry not even enough sauce to cook the noodles. Dry uncooked crispy noodles. Can’t post photos on this review but I have them if you want to see them. Thanks to Don’s Bakery for quickly and personally resolving my issue.

We stumbled across this bakery while in the south end and having heard of the one in Muskoka, I thought I’d try it. Purchased multiple items including cookies, pastries and brownies. Everything is made with super fresh and real good ingredients (I.e lemon, ginger, Belgian chocolate etc which is great). I will definitely go again and will be ordering for Christmas as well. Next up - the famous scones and the cinnamon buns!

Picked up my order from the Toronto location and was initially disappointed that there was a mix up with my plain butter tarts (I received raisin instead). But the owner was so kind and generously offered me a sample giant butter tart and apple crisp that they had prepared as a sample item for their restaurant client. I was so grateful! And the treats were both so delicious! We are regular customers and just love their delicious baked goods! Highly recommend!

I placed an order for Thanksgiving of pumpkin cheesecake, caramel apple crumble pie, lemon and pumpkin tarts (that were the size of small pies.) Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!!!

They only have doughnuts on fridays! The staff seem to ignore people who have been waiting to be served and assist others who have just walked in the door. Should utilize the “take a number” system that is in place in the Bala location. Not a very large selection of items unless you want a sandwich or a lasagne. You would be better off waiting until the location in Bala is open for the season.

So glad a poor experience with a past bakery brought me to this place because their bread is out of this world amazing! They have such friendly customer service and although I haven't tried everything they offer I havent been disappointed yet! (And I do plan on trying everything they have)

Great stuff! Stopped in on the way home when we found out that another location opened, and it was just as good. People were nice, the food was great, and it's a quick stop just off the highway to take some treats home with you from the cottage. Couldn't be better!

The butter tarts are quite tasty. The crust is flaky but best of all, nice and thin. A thinner crust can't hold tons of tart filling but I think the amount was just right. The meat and chicken pies are great too. Seasoned just the way I like it. No mushy crust. Perfect. Also had the cookies. Red velvet and chocolate chip. Really good too. The owner was very friendly, cheerful even!
