We went to claire's today to get my 5 year olds ears pierced, the women at Claire's didnt want to do her ears at all. She didnt say that but you could totally tell, commenting on her age and saying it would be to hard and to come back in the afternoon. We went around the mall and happened to see that caryl Baker visage did piercing!! Usually places like this I steer clear from, honestly I am a hot mess no make up wearing mom and fancy places like this tend to intimidate me but boy I was really caught off guard. The ladies were so accommodating and beyond nice, it was a fast process and they had my daughter so at ease that she didnt even flinch! Yes it's more expensive then Claire's BUT the customer service and products are so worth it. The staff was so knowledgeable and answered every single question. I even got my brows done! Great work staff and thank you for a fantastic piercing experience. We will be back in the future !

Was in a few weeks ago to get my brows waxed and the customer service was horrible! I didn't get the name of the woman waxing my brows but she was extremely rude, didn't even smile at me once and her attitude made it seem like I was a bother to her. I was friendly with her and tried to make light conversation but I just received monotone, passive aggressive replies. The girl working at the front counter was extremely rude too. Sorry i was interrupting your conversation with your coworkers with my business! The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because she did a really good job waxing my brows..but I will be taking my brows and my business somewhere else where they actually treat the customers well.

I’ve been going to Caryl Baker Visage on & off for 10 years. Very professional & accommodating. They are never pushy but always make great beauty suggestions. I love Lisa, she’s down to earth & really seems to like what she does. Great place for a pick me up, make up tips, trends, or to answer any questions you might have regarding procedures. Everyone seems very knowledgable & on top of what’s ‘in’. ????????

I went to the Newmarket location first and they were great! So much so that I agreed to the membership. Decided to give Barrie a shot as it’s closer to home. After calling Monday morning and leaving a message I did not get a call returned. I called back later that night (then they called me back at 7:30pm) and made my appointment for Wednesday morning. When I arrived I stood at the counter for the better part of 7 mins. No hello, no greeting whatsoever from either of the two girls. Then the one girl told me I was early and would I like to come back (it was 5 mins), I should have just left then. The gal that did my brows did a good enough job but very stand off ish, very cold. I still don’t know her name! Not the same vibe in Newmarket, maybe I will make the drive there instead but I doubt it.

Went for eyebrow wax & tint. Lovely girl that did my eyebrows, pleased with results but the location inside the mall is noisy & and child was screaming after getting her ears pierced during my allocated time. Not a quiet atmosphere in general but this made it worse. Wish there were glass doors or separate rooms for clients to experience a more relaxed visit. For this reason I'm not sure if I will visit again.

They're eyebrow wax is great for sensitive skin, I'll be coming back ~ Forget the name of the young woman who did my eyebrows but she did a great job, eyebrows are an art. Always tip your eyebrow lady!!!

Carl visage in Barrie is the only place I trust getting my brows done. The girls do an exceptional job. I recently did the brow tinting as well recommended by staff and my brows looked amazing. Highly recommend!

Went here yesterday to get my eyebrows done, I haven’t had them done before. Waxing and tinting. I didn’t get asked about allergies or if I may had them, I don’t believe I have any. But it’s been 24 hours and my eyebrows are now swollen and painful. Called to ask for advice and the answer was that I should take an allergy pill and not get tint again. Feel like my situation was not cared for.

Terrible service. Unfriendly bordering on rude as well as condescending. Went in on the afternoon of Jan.2. Staff didn't seem to be happy to stop discussing their personal life to look after us. Watched other potential customers leave due to their poor service. Won't be back.

Totally disappointed bringing my daughter down we are here visiting from Alberta and got her ears pierced not even 12 hours after she loses one next day the other one came out. Drive back down to barrie 40 mins drive to find out I have to pay $40 on top of the 92$ for another earing so they can pierce her ears again . Never were we advised with her age 1.5 that they would most likely clench out. Customer service is awful very disappointing. Waste of money, waste of my time! Do not reccomend this place at all.

I got my 4 year olds ears pierced, they use the Inverness system and did both ears at the same time and the positioning is perfect.

Went yesterday and got both my lobes pierced. They didn’t have any silver balls so I had to get another type. I disinfected as soon as I got home and before bed. As soon as I got up today I disinfected again. Even though my left ear was throbbing. I took them out to see why and the hole was completely black on both sides. Usually I wouldn’t write a bad review but this is the second times it’s happened to me here. My one hole is in to much pain to try and fix but I managed to save the other one before it got bad. If you do go here, please please please only use the silver balls.

The best facial ever! I have had my brows and eye tint done here as well at this location and have always been overly pleased with the outcome. Jess suggested to have the oxygen facial due to having some recent fillers (ok not being vain here :). Normally, I have either a Microdermabrasion or hydra facial for my de-hydrated skin. The results were fantastic resulting in glowing skin even my husband noticed and pointed out how well it cleaned out my pores. I would highly recommend this location for facial services - thank you Brea and Jess! Ps - and I love the EmergenC line of products

I went in about a week ago to get my eyebrows done . I booked an appointment a few days prior. When I arrived I thought the service was phenomenal from customer service to the eye row wax and tint was great that I even signed up for a member card which costed quite a bit of money as well as bought an eyebrow pencil. Ater a few days my mom wantes to buy the eyebrow pencil I bought because she tried mine and loved it. She was even thinking to become a member for rewards as well and possibly start getting services there like me when we walked In last Sunday I asked for the eyebrow pencil so my mom could buy it and immediately the girl working whom said she was the manager very unprofessionally and irate said no you need to book an appointment to buy it I have clients coming. The clients were actually not there yet so I was confused on why she couldn't just purchase the pencil.. she was very rude to us and seemed annoyed we were even there. I can't believe how unprofessional it is there I'm going to complain to head office about how we were treated and I'm hoping when I go there this coming week I can get a refund of my money back from the rewards card because I won't be ever going there again. Don't waste your time!

Went their to get my baby granddaughter's ears pierced. The experience wasn't as good as the first two times (several years ago) but it was okay. The first two times, staff was amazing. There were very interactive with the kids and friendly. This time (Feb 15) not as friendly, didn't even make eye contact with the baby. The selection of earrings was very limited. I would still recommend this location as I feel they are very professional and clean but service wasn't the best.

This is by far the best location i have been to! Always amazing staff, they are friendly, and informative! They have gone above and beyond since reopening with covid, always super sanitary, and seem to be taking all their precautions, and all staff wear full ppe, i always feel comfortable receiving my services.

The shop is friendly and welcoming, could possibly be more professional. I normally have eyebrow, lip and waxing. The work is good, but you must be specific in what you want (ie, just a clean up, or a reshape). They do try to upsell more services but are not aggressive about it, nor do they change their attitude if you decline, as so often happens. Cleanliness is fine, things appear clean and sterile without being over-board.

I paid almost $100 for my 5 month old baby’s ear piercing and chose this place after extensive research. I had the most horrible and traumatizing experience when the piercing machine got stuck on one of my baby’s ears. This created a commotion and the employees struggled to unlatch the machine while baby is screaming. Then when the machine unlatched the back of the piercing came off and none of the employees could manage to put the back piece back in because of their long nails and asked myself and husband to do it and my husband finally managed to put the piece back. The employee who was the one who pierced the ear on the side that got stuck was Tammy she was rude unprofessional and never apologized to us at all for her mistake. She was upset with us and was giving us looks and attitude as if it was our fault. We were not even offered a refund for the inconvenience. Never going back after this experience.

After my favorite staff member Stephanie left, I started trying different girls, Alex was one late for my 9:30am appointment, told me to come back in 10 minutes since the wax wasn't hot yet since she got there late. I get back there 15 minutes later and she was helping another customer. I had to leave by 10am for Toronto. I was extremely unimpressed since I had booked the appointment a couple days ahead... Probably won't go there again due to Lack of Customer Service since my main girl left.
