REVIEWS OF Wild Flour Bakery IN Banff

Katherine Zigayer

Everything was delicious - what a great find, especially with so many touristy traps around. If we were locals, we’d go here weekly.

Mimi W

Personally, I would call them more a cafe first; it's more breakfast/lunch/coffee oriented than the sort of place you go for baked goods, though they have a display case of them. Of the bakeries in the Rockies (Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise), this one was still the best. -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

Mohsen Qureshi

Great place to get a coffee and a baked good. The staff is super nice. Loved the atmosphere. So much better than going to the usual Starbucks.

Sabrina Pipestem

Friendly staff interesting coffee taste very unique. You can really tell the difference between their light medium and dark roast. The light roast wasn't to my tastes and I was easily able to switch it out for a freshly brewed medium roast. Good experience.

Matt Gulley

Highly recommended. We had a grilled cheese with tomato soup and bought a pile of baked goods for later. So glad we found this place.

J N

Really liked the carrot cake, kiddos loved the tripple chocolate cookies. The man taking the orders was nice too, mentioning twice where to get cutlery, water and where the washrooms were. Nothing to complain about here!

J B

We went to the cafe to get chocolate croissants X 3. We had read the great reviews and we were expecting something over the top. Certainly the price seemed to indicate that we were in for a treat at $4.50 a pop, plus they were really large. To our great disappointment, these fabled croissants were mostly pastry with a very thin bead of chocolate in them. Seriously? How can you guys be selling something like that for that kind of price? I was thinking of a 1 star rating, but didn't think that fair as I cannot comment on the rest of the offerings, but this particular pastry at $13.50 for just three of them was a complete let down.

ghenyk mcdonald

Great coffee and great food. Also got a chilled iced tea that was delicious

sepideh shahkarami

Coffee was okay but nothing special.

Barbara Garrett

Had a fabulous breakfast here !! The food was wholesome & yummy. The coffee was great ... SCORE :) The middle aged gentleman behind the counter is an absolute gem .. made each and every customer feel like the most special person in the world. Well done Wild Flour, sorry we can't come back (this time) for more ♡ 2 Aussie girls who really enjoyed :) Thanks

Vi Ko

Had the ham and cheese croissant. Very nice lamination and flavor, more on the pastry side of a crumb. Slightly more light and airy then I’d prefer, could have used more ham but still probably the best croissant you’re going to get in banff. Latte was nice also.

Luca Salas

It's been a while since I've been to Wild Flour Bakery, but in my memories, I remember a awesome place, with excellent coffee and pastries, as well as a very welcoming team. A great place to go if you are in the area.

Emily Nicholls

So delicious and they have vegan options. Also, best bread ever!

Ruchika Kabra

Very nice coffee place with a different menu and a good range of baked goods. Their food is excellent, good service and high speed internet (which was a difficult thing to find in Banff). Curried chickpea sandwich and egg frittata sandwich were delicious and cappuccino was made to perfection, super hot and foamy. I wish I had time to revisit during my stay there.

Ricardo Castañeda

Every time that I stay in Banff is a must for me to go for a hot chocolate and a Breakfast Sandwich. You can order anything in their menu and is going to be delicious.

Justin Holley

This place is great! Best almond croissant I've ever had. Coffee was fabulous as well my wife got a latte I got a cappuccino bow for superb.

Natalie Morrison

This place is AMAZING! Seriously such good food! Definitely recommend the Chai Oatmeal cookie and their carrot cake!

Kamal Oppilamanny

Love this place, freshly baked goodies

Mahsa Hanifi

Loved it! You’ll get the same croissants you’ll find in France! Do try all of them! Very friendly staff!

Alan Gacitua

Great food, great coffee... but their sandwiches take ages to be ready.

David Lalande

Fun, chill, awesome staff. Coffee was perfect and breakfast sandwich 5 stars. No brainer !!

Judith Wyo

Small place. Decent breads, coffee and tea we're just "okay". The chai tea was watery. Bit on the pricey side for their quality.

Lara Kandalaft

I loved this cafe so much! I wish I discovered it on the first day so that I could have breakfast there every day. I had the lunch combo - sandwich, soup and a cookie. It was delicious and all vegan. They're very vegan friendly and label everything. Definitely recommend!

Virinda Dembla Malik

This cute bakery in Banff serves great coffee. I tried the iced mocha and loved it. I also tried their banana chocolate muffin and the brownie- both were decent. To be honest, I’d come back for the coffee.

Marian Curran (Veda)

Small selection but tasty food. Loud and crowded at lunch. Tomato and basil soup was delicious as was the fig and anise cookie.

Keegan Martin

Food was great. Quality is there. But I ordered a fresh and fabulous kale salad, and it was half the size as the advertised bowl. Disappointed. Wife had the oatmeal which was fabulous

Jason Wayman

Stopped in for breakfast, loved the white chocolate / raspberry scone, 5-grain porridge, and wild berry yogurt + granola. Stay for a coffee, will get a real mug from artisans that craft drinks to order too!

Lori Graham

Food was very tasty! Plant-based options available. Service was quick despite being very busy.

Ben Brown

Everything from coffee to bread is on point.

Jay & Meaghan Semple

Great coffee and $1 refills! We stayed here for a while reading and coffee drinking. Good times! Food looked good but we didn’t have any.

Christopher Benjamin

Nice place to eat lunch in the heart of Banff - indoor and outdoor seating. Lunch consisted of a toasted vegan sandwich, kale and fruit salad and a thick apricot and coconut cookie ! Scrumptious ! So good I ate there twice.

Victor

Nice atmosphere, really friendly guy behind the counter so early in the morning. The brownies have become a thing of legend. Line can get quite long so come early.

Paolo Sasso

Love this place. Panini breakfast sandwich is delicious and wonderful. Great selection of baked goods and coffees.

Mike Pawlik

Wildflower is a gem in this otherwise extortionate area. Go here! You won't be disappointed.

Shyanne Ewaskow

The sandwich was very tasty. I will be back, Thank you xoox!

Shyanne Ewaskow

The sandwich was very tasty. I will be back, Thank you xoox!

Meghan Brown

Awesome cafe in Banff, always great service from these guys and Little Wild (on Banff ave.) Great place to go for delicious vegan sandwiches and treats! Probably the most options for food out if any cafe in town and everything is perfected! Always changing up the soups, sandwiches and focaccias.

corinna h

Ordered a carrot cake for a bday, it was SO DELICIOUS. ** vegan and/or gf options available on their cakes**. Also, all the staff I spoke with were friendly and kind, I would definitely order here again in the future. Thanks friends!

Geoffrey Quignon

Very good place to eat a lunch. Good sandwiches and pastries! Food is organic and healthy!

Mira King (Catlolz77)

Super adorable bakery, a must stop for anyone in Banff. The coffee is amazing and the pastries are fantastic. Staff are fun, quick, and super friendly. Perfect place for a rest from walking around town.

Helena B

Yum! Amazing coffee and bread and treats galore! Check out the baking and try the chocolate torte. Or not so I can take them all with me ????

Jamie Lai

Honestly the best meal we had at BANFF/Jasper. The frittata sandwich was solid. The zucchini and chocolate bread was moist and delicious. Took a sliced mini seed loaf for the road and it was fresh and delicious! Service was friendly. Coffee was so-so. Great outdoor seating options. Expect a bit of line (almost anytime of day from what we could tell).

Maya Harrington

Went here right as they opened at 8 am, great coffee and really amazing ham and cheese croissants!

shirley liu

The breakfast sandwich is great. Good spot for an early meal, it gets pretty busy.

Marta Borowska

Nice little coffee shop that isn't Starbucks! They have some vegan treats and some good coffee, too. Smells great in there. Be sure to stop by here if you're in town!

C. A.

Two cups of coffee and 2 sandwiches 29$. The coffee wasnt even that good and just the pesto sandwich was good.

Roei Weiss

A wonderful bakery and coffee shop. We really enjoyed their lattes and their freshly baked goods! Especially the morning roll.

f k

Amazing bakery with great coffee. The breakfast panini was also very good, highly recommend

Tamara Rogers (Calgary)

Nice! Exceptional latte, says my guest. Vegan veggie sandwich, could be better with a sauce. Wonderful breads :)

Brian Merry (Brian Merry Photography)

I live in Banff and this is one of my favourite places in town to go out for a coffee and a tasty pastry. It’s probably my favourite. I visit here about once every day or so. Love it!

Ty Yilmaz

Amazing bread and pastries. Almond Croissant was the best I've ever had. The coffee was a solid 4/5. The venue was average, bit cold and not much character.

Eric Rogers

Frittata Sandwich: amazing. Great with bacon and tomato. London Fog: perfectly made, with robust tea and well frothed milk. Toilet paper: single ply. A bit of a letdown.

Abhilash Nama

Breakfast Panini (Veg) was good. Mocha was very satisfying. .. Chocolate torte was a 7/10. Grilled cheese sandwich was yummy. Would surely recommend a visit. Young man taking our order was very helpful in giving us suggestions.

Grant Doyle

One of the best places for coffee and baked goods

David Hogg

Great coffee and ginger peach blueberry muffin!

Camille Nathania

My regular in Banff. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options, consistently delicious variety of items to eat and always great quality. Even the items in the day-old bin are still top-notch. The coffee is good too, although occasionally the espresso is burnt, and some of the staff don't seem happy to see you even if you're polite and friendly every time—but everything else is great!

Andrea Dela Cuesta

Yummy delish food not much on their coffee. Staff's are friendly and the shop is always packed

It's Me

Busy but friendly barista and staff .. good choices for drinks and food also.. My mocha was warm and not too sweet perfection

Brittany Hammel

Amazing coffee, and lots of gluten free options.

Andrew Huggins

Great food and probably the most reasonably priced lunch in Bannf. The sandwich and soup combo is great value and the focaccia was absolutely gorgeous.

Erik Wright

If you need coffee and a sandwich early in the morning before starting your hike or climb, this might be the best place. The vegetarian wrap was delicious (filled with a sort of chili) the others I had were fine if nothing special. The coffee is OK but they don't know how to make a latte, the milk is way overheated and frothy.

Amanda Robertson

A must-stop when we're in town! Their pastries are so incredibly good. We actually forgot to eat one of them until two days later and the pastry layers were still crisp and distinct with a lovely pear and almond filling.

Isabelle Guichard

A lovely bakery with fine delicacies, and a wonderfully kind owner, who was so kind to me when I visited. I was taking something to go. Seing I was pregnant, he offered me to help myself to the fresh water and to the bathroom if I needed to. Thank you

Clemens Duerrschmid

Gem hidden on bear street. Flavorful coffee roasts and super friendly staff. Grab a cup and sip it there or take it to go and explore downtown Banff.

Andre Blanchet

Coffees are decent. Bread is very good. Pastries are overpriced and average. The grilled cheese sandwich is the best!!!

Sheila Morrison

Gary is Super Groovy!

Nick Sterms

great cafe for a lunch or breaky. Great value, you get more than what you pay for and it is made with care, love this place. Went to Banff for 3 nights and went to the wild flower everyday. Great value give it a try

Christine East

Great coffee, great breakfast and fantastic bread.

Kim Holzer

Daily soup (tomato basil) and salad (robust greens with chic pea croutons) was delicious. Homemade bread made the perfect sponge for wiping our plates spotless. Super vegan options. Friendly (Australian) staff.

shani higgins

I would move to Banff just for the muffins/croissants/cookies and coffee every morning. I've been here 4 days and have come back every morning! Soup and kale salad were pretty spectacular too!

Tomas Pantucek

Pretty good deal on lunch combo - had Focaccia, soup and cookie. The coffee is great and the fig cookie is to die for. :)

Igor

Cozy place and tasteful deserts. Glad we stopped by!

Amir Abolhassani

Banff needs more local cafes. Wild flour is one of the few. In a hot summer day, there was no air conditioner. The iced tea was ok, I wish they had an iced black tea option. The pecan butter tart was delicious but probably a week old, hard to bite or break with hand.

Zoe Kennedy

Delicious coffee and pastries with vegan options too! The baristas are all so young and friendly. It's usually crowded but not too hard to find a seat after a few minutes.

Matt Clarke

Awesome coffee, nice place and friendly service - can’t ask for much else!!

J Stevens

Wild Flour is amazing!! The food is so fresh and delicious!! I went twice on a 3 day trip in Banff. I got the banana bread and yogurt with granola and fruit compote both were soooo good!! I also had a hot chocolate which was wonderful!! The staff are all super nice and friendly. They have free WiFi that works great! I loved it here and would definitely recommend it!!

Erin Chaba

I prefer going early in the morning, afternoons can be a bit cramped. Good coffee, great sour dough and nice baked goods.

Andrew Raheb

This place is a locals favourite . There is usually a line up but don't worry, the line moves quick. It's definitely worth the wait. You can tell the people working there care & it shows with the quality of food/coffee. Enjoy !

Jack Wickwar

Good selection and coffees & food ????

Anna Collins

Delicious filling breakfast at a reasonable price. The staff was quick and really friendly.

Jeremy J

The breakfast sandwich was ridiculously good. My wife loves the triple chocolate cookies. Very limited seating due to COVID but the set up was great and it felt safe.

André Enginco

Ordered Ham and Cheese croissant, and chocolate chip muffin! Both were very delicious. A better customer service would have made this review a five star as we love to support local. The lady at the till was very non customer-focused and made us feel like we were an inconvenience…

Ben Reynolds

Great sourdough toast baked freshly and The Frittata panini was delicious and something nice and different to try, especially with the fresh tomato added. Good value too!

Sarah Kathleen Soltész

Must try the breakfast sandwich!! And the cinnamon cruffins with cream inside. My favourite place for breakfast in Banff!! Make the effort to go - don't let the construction on the street to dissuade you!!

Philip Dawsey

Solid breakfast for great prices. We got the chocolate croissant, morning glory muffin and frittata breakfast sandwich with bacon. They were all really good. The chocolate croissant is huge, flashy, light and buttery and could easily be a …

Shirin Montebare

Always support your local cafe and restaurant and that’s how we eneded up here. Super friendly staff, great food options and amazing food. Loved my meat sandwich and cant say enough about ham and cheese croissant. Definitely recommend this cafe

Andrew Fisher

Great coffee, delicious food, service was friendly but slow and inconsistent. As we were waiting for our order, the staff had three wrong orders for people but we're happy to correct them.

Tony Moulatsiotis

It has a nice atmosphere. Coffee was good and they have a great selection of baked goods. Looks like this place can get quite busy. My friend and I arrived here at 8am on a Monday morning and there was 1 person in there. 5 minutes later it seemed to get completely full.

Cfree _43

Good selection of coffee and teas. Their baked good are delicious. Breakfast and lunch hot sandwiches???? fresh bread selection???? super friendly staff.

Brian

Really great Sandwhiches, Focaccia and of course Cappuccinos. We enjoyed the food here so much we went back the next day! The staff are really friendly and helpful as well.

Tracy Nguyen

Sooo much attitude from the Asian girl behind the counter and for what? Before we even stepped inside she barked at us that they weren’t open at 7:10 am this morning. The door was open and the hours on Google said otherwise ????

Stefan Walter

Great selection of coffee, breakfast foods, and paninis. Perfect for a healthy start to your day for relatively reasonable prices. They sell incredible fresh bread as well, and the quality of the coffee is quite good despite refills coming at a cost. The downsides, the staff is unorganized and the place can get very busy.

Travis Morrow

The best place for coffee and breakfast I found in Banff. I'm sure I'm missing other obvious places, but I preferred this place because the food/coffee was good and there wasn't a ton of people. Staff was friendly.

Amra T

Good coffee and the best carrot cake I’ve ever had so far

Ching Ching Lee

I love their sourdough bread. It’s very crusty! Nothing better than butter, jam and bread.

Bram Warshafsky

Awesome place. Get the muffins. Very muffiny.

Bram Warshafsky

Awesome place. Get the muffins. Very muffiny.

Kanao.Tsuyuri

Amazing experience in this cafe, extremely fast service. Even though there were quite a few people there, they were very fast. Very clean and cozy. Everything is on the more expensive side, but 100% worth it. One of the best bakeries I've ever been to.

Timothy Yue

A relaxijng handout place in Banff with coffee and a lot of wholesome baked goods. Servers were friendly and price were reasonable for a tourist town. I believe this shop has been around for ten years, the furniture arrangements were changed a bit compared to the old photos I took 10 years ago. I am sure I will return in the years to come. It is a little gem in Banff.

Hamzeh Hamarneh

I absolutely loved the place. I’ve had bread and butter with a bit of raspberry for breakfast next to my coffee! I don’t know know what they’ve done to the bread but it’s one of best bread slice I ever got. I regret not buying more bread …

Jeff Taylor

One of my favourite places to grab breakfast before going on a hike. It's almost always busy. Sometime hard to find a seat.

Alex Jones

Rude staff and the coffee was horrible. We also ordered a kids hot chocolate which was served cold. So many other places in Banff I would strongly suggest saving your money.

Shegufta Islam

I've been meaning to try this bakery and finally had the chance on this trip. Line ups are long as the place tends to get busy but it moves fast. Staff are efficient and knowledgeable. There's lots of seating inside and on the patio. Plenty of yummy treats and savory sandwiches to choose from. We ordered the carrot cake and lattes - both were good, not amazing. Prices are on the high side given the location. Overall, definitely worth checking out when in Banff.

Jesse Colangelo

Nice selection of vegan treats. Gorgeous outdoor seating. No filling vegan breakfast options, more of a coffee and muffin place. Reasonable pricing.

Nick Bush

This was a great stop for lunch. The sandwiches were very good and the fococcia bread was amazing!

Amy

As a vegan I love this place. Amazing grilled veggie sandwich, salads, fig anise cookies, and the best oatmeal lattes. Would be great if they added a vegan breakfast panini option with scrambled tofu or chickpeas though cause the only vegan breakfast options are a muffin (which is decent) or porridge.

sunayna narang

Great teas and sandwiches. Loved the salted dark chocolate cookie.

Levi Kane

Excellent little cafe and bakery. The lines can often be extending out the door if you don't go early enough, but I'd say that simply speaks to the quality of the goods they sell. If you stop by, I'd plan to leave with a loaf of their sourdough bread!

Emanuel Corthay

Great little bakery with excellent croissants, espresso/macchiato and yogurt granola. Very friendly staff. Very locally sourced ingredients. Awesome bread/sourdough made in-house and used in their sandwiches.

andrew lievesley

Had several great breakfasts and coffee stops here over a two week period. Food good, coffee OK. The sad thing is its so small and always packed. ....A business opportunity for someone?

Arthur Lee

Very nice place for a quick snack or breakfast that’s not on the Main Street. Open during the Bear street renovations. I would recommend their breakfast panini sandwich and banana chocolate muffins.

Daniel B

Great little cafe with delicious baked goods and coffee. We have been here 3 or 4 times now and specifically stopped by the town on our way back past just for a coffee here. Their bread is also amazing, as are all of the croissants and other little items. A must try if you're nearby!

Biclopse 8

This places soup and sandwiches are amazing. Great home made bread and their muffins are delicious.

NxWxK Kendall

A favorite of local Banff crew Fresh brewed coffee, tea & more, refreshing summer cold blends. My favorite sandwich is their breakfast Panini. ????

Cyndy Day

Ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a chai tea latte. The croissant was fresh and delicious! The tea was hot and great milk froth. I would've taken a picture, but I devoured it in seconds.

John Duck

Nice coffee and friendly staff.

Claire Hanna

Perfect spot for an après-tourist afternoon in the Rockies! I absolutely adore this cafe in Banff - perfect for a quick and healthy meal …

Will Flint

The Café/Bakery itself is situated within a really sweet and pleasant location. They offer a great diversity of yummy treats, pastries, coffee/laté's/tea, and brunch-like items. However, my only quam with this Bakery is their store hours. Most other bakeries/café's in banff are open until at least 5pm, with the large portion open until 7pm. Working a 8am-5pm Job, even living in Banff I do not have the luxury of eating here unless it's on the weekend. IMO, there are better bakeries/Café's in town with the same atmosphere, better location, and just as good baked goods/coffee/food. Stay away, you guys get a solid 2/5, saved only by your food.

Olga Pavlovska

Loved it! Great coffee ! Friendly staff ! Food amazing! I got vegetarian sandwich with Portobello mushrooms and pesto sauce I think OMG It was heavenly good! Never had something as good plus I'm not vegetarian. I can drive to Banff another 4 hours just to get that sandwich and great coffee!

Tidings M

Pastries were dry and needed work, staff could've been friendlier for a tourist corner, but maybe they were having a bad day. The place is clean, the drinks lukewarm with a variety of choices. Just make sure to specify how you like your drink and check before you leave.

Stefy Shumanova

We went in for breakfast and ordered the panini frittata on sourdough bread. They also sell a variety of artisan breads. The cafe interior was clean and cosy, with a decent variety of tasty breakfast options. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I am taking off one star for 2 reasons. The panini was tasty but the bottom crust was burned. If the bread crust is burned, and the loaf cannot be sold due to that, it shouldn’t be sold for panini either. We also ordered macchiato since they had it on their menu and were preparing it the traditional way - just with foam. The barrista was very good and made us a good macchiato - no art. However, they did not have the cups for macchiato and served the drink in a cappuccino cup, half filled. If you have a coffee drink on the menu, and it is more than $4, you should serve it in the right cup.

Fabian Sperrle

Amazing breakfast and coffee -- immediately took a few loafs of the sourdough for lunch during the time in Banff. The place is quite small and very busy in the morning though, don't expect much space or a super comfortable, spaced-out seating.

Glenn Brual

Local spot for organic, fresh food options if you're looking for fast service don't come here. . Food and hot drinks take time to make because care goes into them.

Ley Dla

This place is super cute and probably the best little coffee shop in Banff. The only problem is that they are always busy and the wait time can be a bit. It starts to get confusing with the orders and whose is whose.. The food and drinks don't come out at the same time either, so you could be almost done your treat (if you don't wait) and still waiting for your drink, vice versa. Otherwise, a solid 4 stars. I will be back to support this local shop!

Anna Powell

Local haunt, extremely busy for lunch. If you're looking for a relaxing sit - down lunch then don't bother, but for take out there's nothing better.

Federico Drago

A very nice environment with plenty of pastries and beverages. Recommended if you're looking for a quality breakfast outside of your hotel.

Jadene Ferreira

Looking for fresh, local, lovingly created cuisine? Make it a point to stop in at Wild Flour! Whether stopping in on your trip through Wells Grey or choosing a healthy lunch as a break from the grind, you’ll find friendly service and excellent food. Fresh Baking throughout ~ you won’t want to miss the Wild Flour!!

Artem G

Great good quality coffee and close to the downtown so it's a great spot to meet up at. Can get a bit busy for line ups, and there generally isn't a lot of room to sit, but if you take it to go, its fine.

Namdev Sachathep

Spent 4 nights in Banff and looked for great breakfast places to try each day. Wild Flour seemed like a popular name amongst locals so gave it a try. …

Goon Mingy

Beautiful little place and amazing staff, very clean and service is efficient ❤️ much love guys and gal's from your biggest fan from Australia

Jeff

Decent sized seating area. Nice selection of food and bakery products. The breakfast sandwich is excellent. Pleasant staff. Good vibe.

Jessica Connors

The best Flat White I had in Banff. A great spot to pull up a chair and hang out for a while. The food all looked amazing, the chocolate croissant had seemingly infinite layers and had that perfectly risen flavour. Can't say enough good things, be sure to check it out if you're around the town or just want to grab some bread to take home.

Larry Potter

Good place for a coffee and something warm, healthy, light or filling. Expect retired people next to or sharing a table with grungy snow-boarders - totally unpretentious and welcoming.

Amber St.Jacques

Delicious food as always. I don't recommend the chai latte, it tastes like warm milk even letting it steep for a long time.

M H

Second time here. This time I ordered a dry cappuccino and basically got a latte. YOU CANT PUT LATTE ART ON A CAPPUCCINO!! I wish these smaller coffee shops would stop doing latte art on caps. You are supposed to place foam, not pour it.

Thomas Smekal

Always a pleasure. Close to the best espressos and I have some 50 years of experience. Honest food, good wi-fi.

Crystalbrooke Hill

Coffees were yummy and the breakfast sandwich was good as well. Located in a perfect spot. Quite busy but fast service.

Stéphane Marchais

The pastries are off the charts, the staff is really friendly and the coffee is very good. They also have free WiFi, in case you're trying to stay out of -20 weather...

Robyn Keller

After all the great reviews, I was so excited to try this spot for a quick breakfast but the lack of lactose free menu options was disappointing. My friend enjoyed her sandwich and coffee though.

Cody Wildgust (cjwild)

It doesn't seem to matter when we go in this place or that it's tucked away from the main strip, it is ALWAYS busy. And for good reason, it offers some of the best baked goods you'll ever taste. Lots of veggie options too!

Erica D

Poor experience.. went in the am to grab a coffee and treats. Was recommended by a local but the coffee wasn't very good. I would let it go but they also forgot our pastry and it was almost impossible to get someones attention. Staff was rude and owner seemed out of it.. wouldn't recommend it.

Ralph Mousseau

Amazing! Lots of vegetarian options. Great coffee. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Kris Lee

Tasty treats, friendly staff, plenty of vegan and gluten free options. Try the London Fog.

Katherine Szerk

Great coffee shop to pop by in downtown Banff. The service was friendly and welcoming even if lines were long. Really enjoyed their house blend Wildflour coffee and their ham sandwich. Would definitely go back if I lived in the area

Andrew Fleming

Fantastic bakery. Great gluten-free options. Always stop here whenever we're in Banff!!!

Robert Mudde

The bakery here exceptional, I have eaten nearly every option in the case. (Except the round seady balls of mystery). Be sure and have the browny if your unsure of what to pick. It never fails you. The coffee is the only thing for me that's keeps this place from getting 5 stars. It's just average.

Candice Young

Breakfast panini was very good, but I saved room for a sticky bun.

Henry Bang

Great selection of baked goods. Granola is excellent. Limited stock at times. Busy place in the heart of downtown Banff.

Valerie Johnston

The coffees fine. I took it Togo and the cup/lid is trash. It spilled from under the cap and ruined my white shirt.

Brittany Stanton

Being generous: very good service. Pastries, bars, coffee not good enough as promoted. We got lattes, kombucha, bars and 3 kinds of muffins they where very sweet (too sweet) and not that good tasting for the price. The bar was too chewy and extra sweet, latte was poor, and kombucha was okay. For picky cafe eaters lookign for healthy option I wont recomend, look somewhere else or make your own.

hardik patel

Amazing place to start the day right! Great options for all cravings. The panini with frittatta in it tasted great! Love the yogurt with granola, the granola is so flavorful! And if your craving a bit of sweet definately have a morning bun, super soft and flaky and not too heavy on sweetness, perfect balance!! Highly recommend this place for that kickstart in the morning!

Sloan

Good vegan options and baking. Good atmosphere. Tables a little dirty.

Mira King (Catlolz77)

Super adorable bakery, a must stop for anyone in Banff. The coffee is amazing and the pastries are fantastic. Staff are fun, quick, and super friendly. Perfect place for a rest from walking around town.

Jenine Urquhart

Service was a bit cold but the food was really good. I enjoyed the vegan options

John Soong

One of the nicest bakery in Banff. Fresh bread and treats. Nice coffee and drinks.

Stephen Hubbard

Enjoyed lunch and coffee here for the first time. I really enjoyed my beverage and the soup and sandwich were fantastic. The location has quite a bit of seating. I would highly recommend this place for a quick coffee or a quick bite to eat.

Tony M Leitao

Delicious breakfast, lunch, soups and pastries. A place to visit when in Banff!!

Radu John

Great food. Healthy. Too bad they close at 4 PM

Marie Leclerc

Friendly staff. Good coffee and good pastries. A little expensive but you’re in Banff...!

Yoorim Ko

Delicious sandwich and soup! Very fresh bread loaves

phill goldstein

Excellent bakery. Been touring bakeries in every province, the cinimon scrolls and croissants are definitely some of the best. If you are looking for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with good food, this is a must visit for any traveler or local

Mark Goodaire

Absolutely excellent coffee and pastries. One of the best!

Amanda Toth

Very lovely staff. Great food. Great coffee. Prices aren't too bad.

Paskal S

Best coffee in town. Excellent choice of baked goods. Service can be quite horrible though. The staff seems underpaid and overworked. It is also extremely busy/noisy during weekends.

Bradley Coleman

our breakfast sandwiches were so bad. like so bad. the three of us hated them. i asked for whole wheat, a reasonable request for an ARTISAN BAKERY, but they didn't have any whole wheat. i asked 5 different ways, they had no whole wheat. also, their sandwiches were premade anyways. we also got a salad, which wasn't good either, and they gave us the wrong salad too.

Nicholas Veriker

Best grilled sandwiches in Banff. Always a vegan and meat option. Fresh baked goods daily. Croissants are the best I've had this side of the Atlantic. Espresso coffees are second to none. Easily my favourite morning spot in Banff.

Andreas L

Two words. De and licious. Great selection of both the healthy and the indulgent. Awesome coffee and fresh baked goods every day.

Elizabeth Angasan

Excellent service, delicious and quality food, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. I can't recommend this place more!

M Li

Best breakfast in Banff! I love the sandwich!

Alexey Baldygin

I've ordered full lunch with soup, sandwich, cookie and coffee and it was simply delicious. I liked combination of apples in grilled cheese sandwich. The only my concern, it is pricy... Otherwise, i would give 5 stars.

Kim S

Coffee is great, food is nice but when it is busy, WHOA NELLIE do they ever get slow. We waited for 35 minutes to get two lattes and some toast. Wouldn’t order food again.

Lauren Leung

Love this place, we come here every time we're in Banff. Really miss the vegan chocolate torte though!

Jeff Todd

Love the breakfast sandwiches and the squares. #bakedinbanff

Faisal Albusairi

Skip the coffee and go for baked goods. They just haven’t quite figured out the former yet.

Adam Lendi

We stopped in for coffee. The service was great and the building was nice. My chai latte was a bit bland. My girlfriend's regular latte was very tasty.

Deidra Ferguson

This bakery is fine, but underwhelming. It is incredibly expensive for what it is. The pastry selection is limited (mostly muffins). Their sourdough loaf tastes more like plain white bread. They serve Fratello coffee. There is limited seating. At least the staff were quick and friendly! I probably will not make an effort to go back.

Matthew Lai

One of the better bakeries I had when I was in Banff. I had a croissant which was buttery, flakey, and fresh. My sister and I also shared a painini with the fritta. It was probably one of the best breakfasts we had while on our trip. Their breads we great with lots of flavor and great for sandwiches.

Felipe de Jesús Flores

Great food and coffee but went twice that day and they were out of pain of chocolat. ( at least that's what the staff said)

claire E

Loved the vibes, the coffee, the music... and the cheesy scones ???? Place not to be missed!

Aly

Great bakery and friendly staff! Amazing gf cookies and muffins! Right now there are plastic dividers and spots for a line up for covid. One way entrance and exits.

heath satterfield

Great and quick spot for coffee or a bite to eat.

Chris Lumb

The best place in Banff to get a coffee and a snack, especially linked to a bike ride.

Cole Boychuk

Lots of healthy yet tasty options for food as well as a good selection of hot or iced drinks. Paninis, focaccia, salads, and soups. Some seating inside as well as outside the outside seating looks over a really nice hidden courtyard.

Arne Hedstrom

Nice coffee shop with many vegan and gluten free option. Gluten free runs out quickly, so get there early.

Mandy Fall

Great home made, vegan sugar free options!! Very cute atmosphere and delicious treats!!

Justin Lee

Great coffee, best in Banff town probably and you must try their baked stuff - especially the meat focaccia!!! Tasted amazing ????

Felix Wong

Soup, sandwiches and coffee were great.

James Babcock

Always busy but always amazing as well! Worth the wait!

Sean Vadoo

The best Chai Latte! They make it with the tea from Banff Tea Co. And they do know how to make it. The soup and break was great. We are so going back tomorrow.

Noah Poitras

went on a Thursday morning, must be popular because it was so busy, food took a little while to get and people that ordered after got it before us despite getting something bigger than what we did. still good food!

Phil Tomlinson

Great baked goods and sandwiches - including some great vegan options. Good coffee and a bustling, friendly atmosphere.

CY Siu

A good place to stop for a coffee and or a quick snack/meal where everything is baked in house. There is a wide selection of treats here. The coffee is alright tasting - nothing too special but obviously better than generic coffee places ie) Tims. The service was ok. Can't go wrong with visiting a place that is local!

Katryna Benedik

Love this place! We stop here every time we're in the area (and usually more than once!). We especially love their breakfast sandwiches, breads, granola, and pastries but they also make some yummy drinks too

Kenneth Dorosky

Ginger bread cookie was amazing. Pesto chicken sandwich was also sensational

Nouralhuda Ismail

Tastiest coffee, baked goods and friendliest of staff! We absolutely loved this place and will be dropping by everytime we visit Banff! Highly highly recommend.

Chiara Zlatović

I wanted to support a local coffee shop in banff, i went in the morning staff could be more friendly got the croissant and juices they were good

Cynthia Beer

Cozy cafe with a great atmosphere. Nice place to rest your feet and enjoy a bit of brunch with delicious tea/coffee. They have a wide selection of pastries. There is seating indoors, and you can also sit outside to eat. The London Fog is so good. Also got the Soup of the Day (turned out to be Leek Potato). It comes with bread and butter. The soup was delectable.

abanob salib

They have fresh breakfast and very good coffee ☕

Yann Howe Kwan

Sat here for the afternoon watching people and reading. The scones are nice, and the coffee here is good.

Mary Taylor

The food is great and it's nice that there's vegan options. But the customer service is pretty terrible...barely greet you when you get in and generally miserable. If not flat out rude.

Renata Benesova

Awesome fresh food, really good coffee, friendly staff. Sandwiches are little bit pricey, but very tasty! Delicious cheesecake

Stacey Levy

Great coffee and great staff would highly recommend!

Ruchit Patel

Tried vegan sandwich and it was amazing. Highly recommended.

Fabian Heer

Nice place with good bread - almost like in Switzerland ????

Gerry Ghostrider

This place serves good food but there are too many people staying there for he day occupying a full table because they're playing on their laptop and stealing the free wifi. Sorry but that's how it is. And the staff won't send them away because they keep their coffee on their table so they look like a customer.

Carlie

What a surprise to found this café ! The customer service was amazing, staff is really friendly and professional ! Sandwiches are the best in town and the carrot cake is so good ! Coffee is good as well ! I recommend and I will be back soon !

Iv BaJo

This is a must visit while in Banff. Their sourdough bread is fantastic and you can get different loaves to go as well. Good coffee and tasty treats while also offering a variety of healthy items.

Amber “Simber” Armstrong

Best sourdough bread, scones, and croissants in Alberta by far. Yummy!

Peter Tran

Perfect little cafe for a light breakfast and coffee! Came here for an early morning coffee and a bite to eat. The staff were really friendly. Coffee was good and the breakfast sandwich was quite nice. There is a lot of outdoor seating. Tip: They give a small discount for bringing your own coffee mug.

Corey

Hot chocolate is good and dark with great foam. Brownies are a must for chocolate fans. Above average cafe that beats Starbucks and second cup hands down.

Foodie

Really busy place but they know how to make coffee

Thalia Dabda

Unfortunately I didn’t grab pics, but the almond milk lattes are good, the almond croissant was great and the chocolatine didn’t disappoint either!

Jasmeen B

Great spot to relax and have a meal. We had soup and sandwiches and they were great. Love that they have vegan and gluten free options.

Keena E

Homemade banana chocolate muffins and mochas made with actual chocolate and delicious espresso. I make a point to stop in everytime I'm in Banff. There's a reason it's always busy.

Mira Damle

Delicious Breakfast!! Thier house made bread one of the best I ever had and good Service !!

Karen

The best coffee shop and fresh baking in town and on my trip so far. It took me 2 days wandering town to find but worth it. Not the wrapped in plastic 2 days old kinda stuff!

Antonio Tannas

Great coffee, but very expensive. It's also quite popular making it difficult to get a seat.

Martina Zapletalová

Great breakfast sandwich and cappuccino. Always excellent.

D H

Poor service. Mistook the name on my latte for "jaded". When I asked if that was my latte they double downed and said, if your name is jaded. No one's name is jaded, not even down under. Latte a 4, service a 2.

Saranya N

5 stars for the pecan tart. amazing!

Sue Oshiro

Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Good coffee and excellent pastries!

Balu Lu

Great coffee and breads. Sandwich’s have vegetable and meets. Beautiful morning in Banff downtown joining to a sweet breakfast.

Pia Savoie

Definitely get a loaf of sourdough with butter and jam. So fresh. So sour. So good. Drinks and snacks are yummy too!

Stephan Becker

Love this spot. My go to place when in Banff for coffee, snack or lunch. Great prices, great flavours and love their purpose.

Brandy Greco

From the moment you walk into this bakery the smell alone let's you know how good it's going to be. I got the toast with fruit compote and it was amazing, especially with my matcha tea latte. The only down side to our visit was trying to find space to sit, but it wasn't too long of a wait to do so. The views along the window bar make for a great place to enjoy your freshly baked meal and delicious coffee. I can't wait to visit this place again.

Jonathan Basilious

fantastic little bakery in the heart of banff. i had probably the best carrot cake of my life here. highly recommend.

Dani Mackey

They don't offer gluten-free but gluten reduced treats. Might work for some with mild allergies or who choose to be gluten free. They did have vegan options. The atmosphere was nice and the place was crazy busy. Lots of outdoor seating available.

V F

Food is very fresh and healthy. Great coffee!

Dan Watt

Nice little coffee shop and bakery with great variety. I enjoyed my machiato. I wouldn't recommend the banana chocolate muffins -- tasted a little too strongly of baking soda. Otherwise a great little spot.

Charles McNeil

Excellent breakfast sandwich. Great coffee. Lovely shop.

Dan Bannister

Awful. Would bother if you want tea or a chai latte without bits in it. Just get in the same instant chai everyone else uses. Don't be edgy and cool and put it in a sub par tea bag.

eltham treehugger

Lovely Coffee, this place shines even more considering the abundance of chained stores in Canada. Starbucks is the demise of Coffee culture, I hope there’s more places like this around. Rich smooth roast and nicely brewed, can’t ask for more.

Shawn

Really good food here, but you need to articulate exactly what you’re thinking, or ask. Probably not a concern 99% of the time, but we ordered the grilled cheese and it was kind of a fancy grilled cheese. We were thinking we are going to get a run-of-the-mill kids grilled cheese.

Henriette Schattling

Such a cute and cozy place to have a cup of coffee and a tasty breakfast treat. The freshly baked breads are a big bonus too.

Sylvia S

Best almond croissant I’ve had. We come from Saskatchewan just to have them every time we visit. Very friendly staff, and great selection of drinks. Will always support your cute shop!

Ojas Gokhale

Fresh, healthy sandwiches. Beautiful view if you sit outside.

Jill Dodds

The BEST lemon loaf ever!!!! Wished we had eaten lunch there rather than the brew pub.

Leanne G

Fresh baked sourdough bread with homemade berry compote is excellent. The crumble is also very good.

Amber Markey

Hot, fantastic coffee, wonderful people and delicious food. Do not miss the chocolate croissant! Wild Flour is worth visiting over and over.

Melissa Hanley

Loved it. The turkey brie croissant was perfectly flaky, buttery, and delicious. My husband had the meat focaccia which he thoroughly enjoyed. We also had the triple chocolate cookie and the fig and anise cookie. So nice to see a bakery cafe that makes soft and chewy cookies instead of dry crunchy rocks.

Trevor Piper

Brilliant bakery café, friendly staff, delicious food and relaxed seating outside. A must if you're in Banff!

Joanne Wong

I came here with my two friends on the long weekend for some coffee before we drove up to Jasper. I had myself the granola with yogurt -- it was absolutely delicious (despite the fact that I think I actually might be allergic to granola, but that's another story). My friends had the breakfast sandwiches -- they ate half of it, and was going to eat the other half later. The only issue was that the sandwiches were very oily later. Lattes were okay here, but not amazing... I would go to Whitebark instead. However, there is definitely ample seating here for those who want to do work or whatever.

Dakota

Yummy food, awesome staff, but the breakfast sandwiches are a bit underwhelming for the price.

Justin Christian

The best granola bar I’ve ever had and I’m not kidding! Their granola bars are packed with dried fruit, chocolate, sunflower seeds and oatmeal which is all held together by honey. It’s packed because it weighs as much as a small brick. It is seriously good! We also ordered a maple latte which is also deliciously tasty. This is our second time in Banff and we made it a point to come back here. One of the best coffee places we’ve been to!

Audrey Boivin

The service is always friendly and the food always amazing! Everytime we come to Banff, we make sure to stop for bread and yummy treats.

Charlotte Reiter

Very much enjoyed our time at Wild Flour when visiting Banff. For an excellent bowl of soup and freshly made bread for lunch and went back later in the week for a breakfast latte and chocolate croissant. Highly recommend!

Maham Siddiqui

Loved this place! We ended up here almost every day of our trip. The coffee and food is incredible! Their breakfast sandwich was definitely my favorite part.

Brandon Smyth

Delicious frittata sandwiches. The staff is really friendly and saved us from waiting in traffic hell on the way to Sunshine.

Stefanie

Server was unhelpful. The grilled veggies sandwich was boring and muffins didn't seem fresh. Gave it a second chance because I was unable to find another bakery in Banff. Croissants were just ok... this place came highly recommended but we left unsatisfied TWICE.

Alfie Cordoba

Ordered multiple items, was confused how it was given out. Mistakenly was given another person's order due to the confusion.

Kate Atadzhanova

Very cozy and friendly, great staff from Australia, young and cheerful. Went there a couple of times for breakfast. Take flat white and a butter croissant.

Lyndsay Brennan

Amazing spot! Gluten Reduced, Dairy Free, Vegans - you have got to go here! I go here every trip to banff. Love that you can get gluten reduced and vegan treats that are fresh! The coffee is fair trade and their banana chocolate chip muffins are awesome! In fact all of their muffins are great! Moist with a bit of a crunchy top. A must spot to visit when in Banff. For record, I'm not Celiac but do get quite ill if even my fries are fried in the same oil as gluten and I've never been ill here eating their gluten reduced items, but of course, everyone is different and Celiacs would and should never eat gluten reduced items.

Graham LeGeyt

Went in for breakfast and ordered the feature porridge and a grilled sandwich and two latte's. When our number was called, there was the sandwich and meuslii and the coffee. I said that I had ordered porridge, and the girl said they were out! Then she offered me a cookie(?). What the heck? Why did you not tell me that there was no porridge so I could order something else?

Nooran Ostadeian

One of my favorites in Banff. You just need to be lucky to order the food through a creative and friendly staff. First day, the guy was amazing. I asked him if he can add pesto to my vegan panini...he want to the kitchen a d came back with a cup of pesto...done. The next day, ordered the same...the gal was so rude and careless...immediately rejected and said we do not have enough staff in kitchen.

Miles Santo

My wife and I absolutely loved this quaint place! Very reasonable prices compared to your standard, overpriced hotel options and other local restaurants in the area. Excellent breakfast/lunch spot and awesome coffee! Even had gluten aware options, which was huge for my wife and I with our dietary restrictions. We went here three times during our week vacation in Banff! Highly recommend!

Kenn L.

While filling, found the breakfast sandwich with bacon to be "meh" overall. Needed something more to make it memorable, such as a sauce.

Jeff Dover

Wow. Fantastic food. Fantastic service. Had a great breakfast sandwich and muffin for breakfast. Went back and had the classic grilled cheese for lunch. Great coffee. I will be back next time I am in Banff.

Jen Tong

Came here two days in a row and loved everything!! Highly recommend their ham + cheese croissant, chocolate croissant and flat white ????

Babak Alinejad

They are not in the main Street, so they close earlier. Decent selection of baked goods and coffee. Recommend it. Support locals

rizvan malek

The bread here is amazing. Soft yet crispy. Coffee is delicious as well!

Lee A

Excellent coffee and Sandwiches. Friendly staff. Gets busy, but not a long wait..

Vivian Menezes

Good coffee, croissants and sandwich options. We tried the mushroom & cheddar croissant for breakfast along with their latte.

Avyn Gray

The sourdough toast, berry compote, vegan sandwich, and London fog were delicious! And the staff was super friendly.

Colin Sheridan

Interesting lunch options. We were pleased to stumble upon this cafe. We enjoyed their excellent teas and coffees, and also their sandwiches. Not an overwhelming level of choice but all were tasty and filling.

Charlee Travaline

My family visited Wild Flour today while we were in Banff. The staff is amazing and the food is delicious and nutritious. The atmosphere was delightful and even a little bird was eating crumbs on the floor..A pure delight to see. Great Food,, Awesome Staff and even the littlest guests are welcome in.. Stop in,,they treat you like family..Fans from Medicine Hat AB..We will be back..????????????????????

Heather Taylor

We love this bakery and stop through each time we are traveling by Banff, however this time our order was very mixed up (wrong items, missing items) despite repeating it several times with two different staff, the sandwiches were burned (instead of toasted) and the veggie sandwich lacked any flavor. This experience is very disappointing.

chris gibbons

Great range of foods, all very tasty, lots of hot and cold drinks. Can recommend.

Will H

I came here for breakfast every day while in Banff. The light, flakey croissants are perfection, the sort that make you regret every grocery store bakery croissant you've ever disgraced your taste buds with. The breakfast sandwiches are simple but hearty and healthy. Prices are quite reasonable, particularly compared to the Sysco garbage you'd find for twice the price at American national parks.

Katie M

Sandwiches were super tasty! Will be stopping by again when im in the area !

Rand Tashman

The coffee was really good and tasty but I ordered the Peach, Blubbery Ginger muffin and it was oily .

Chris CJF

Great coffee, breakfasts and pastries. Really nice friendly and helpful staff. Very busy and difficult to get a seat inside on our visit. We noticed tables occupied by people who were drinking the free water and using the free WiFi and perhaps staff should be asking these people to vacate tables if the cafe is busy so that paying customers can sit down. Five star review for the quality of food. coffee and service!

Corinne Bosch

I loved this place so much! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and nice especially Garry. Their cappuccinos and breakfast porridge made a great breakfast; all of their sweets that I tried were amazing as well. I always wanted to go back for more and will really miss this place until next time I visit!

Judith McGinty

terrific soup and breads. great for lunch. excellent coffee. just happened to park near it. best meal we jad in Banff. AND friendly staff.

DAVID STUART ALEXANDER MACKIE

Good lunch combo. Can share with wife. She just adds an additional bowl of soup. Works out to be a good deal$.

Donna-Leigh White

Amazing foccacia! Very trendy, busy place. Didn't see a lot of gluten free options, but if you can eat gluten, you have to stop in here.

Rob

Place with bad attitude, coffee place with no coffee? had to brew it, only one carafe? Just be 5 minutes more like 15. Already paid or would just walk out.

Irina Z.

We never miss a visit to this bakery every time we are in Banff!

Amanda Green

Bought a mocha for $6.25 which ended up being $7....I thought taxes were only 5% which should have been $6.56. It was flavorless....couldn't taste the coffee or the choclate. Counter person was not in the least bit friendly.....Banff you can do better.

Ian Hall

Best coffee. Must do if an Ozzie wants a coffee like home. Cakes really good. Friendly staff

Cindy Nguyen

Love the food and atmosphere. But the gentleman that was calling out orders was very rude. Asked for an additional bag which he accidentally ripped 80% of, making it unusable and yet he still handed it to us and just continued to work. So we asked him again for another one to which he gave us a look as though we were an inconvenience.

Sara Lassemillante

You can actually get a decent coffee in Banff! Breakfast Crumble (crumble, seasonal stewed fruit, almonds, pumpkin seeds, steamed milk). Delicious. They also have WiFi ????

Jennifer Gordon

Such a tasty breakfast sandwich and best matcha latte I've ever had. Repeated the breaky both mornings I was in Banff.

Seyed Hossein Ahmadinejad

There was a lineup but not too long. We ordered a latte, an americano, a panini, and granola + yogurt. Drinks were great, I liked the panini but it could be a bit lighter, granola was good too.

ILove Privacy

Fabulous. Friendly service, delicious food, real dishes & silverware (they have disposables if you want your food to go). Seemed a bit spendy for lunch, but it's Banff and they are in line with local prices (& I'm pretty sure they could relocate to Calgary, charge exactly the same & still have lineups out the door). The bread, however, is absurdly cheap. Buy a loaf while you're there. ($3 for sourdough?! You're crazy - or celiac - if you pass that up.)

Sherry Norton

A good variety of tasty treats, loved the rhubarb danish and morning cinnamon roll with lemon cream cheese filling. On a quiet, quaint street to enjoy a beautiful morning in the mountains!

Christopher Roman

The best bakery and coffee shop in town! We came here pretty much every day to fuel up, and the breakfast panini honestly kept me going all day on the slopes. Great coffee and nice staff to boot

Fran

Meat sandwich was amazing! Great veggie spread in it and the bread was unreal. Breakfast sandwich was alright, wouldn’t get again. Coffee was also VERY bitter. Nice to try but probably won’t be back in the near future.

Fran

Tryphina Aviles

Went here for their latte and cookie. Both were okay. Both taste good, nothing special though. I also tried chocolate tart and it was too sweet for me.

Chris B

Mediocre coffee. I am not sure if we came at a bad time or the bakery typically has a small selection of baked goods...

tina song

Extremely disappointed with the ignorant and ill-mannered exhibited by a girl at the front counter. Top rated reviews and wide selections of pastries and sandwiches isnt everything. Great example of customer service shines through…

Cc H

Came here in the morning before starting our day. The coffee was pretty good, the butter croissant standard fare, but the breakfast sandwich was pretty bland. However, I'm reading other reviews that the breakfast sandwich is generally well received so it could be just me. The cashier was not too friendly though, no eye contact, no greetings. That part was the biggest point that stuck out to me. Might be too early of a morning...

Scott Dabbs

This place has become a fast favorite for me. The baked goods are fresh and delicious, way better than just stopping in at Safeway. I usually pick something up on my way out of town, and it makes the drive home that much better. If you want a cozy, fast place with good food and coffee, I don't think you can find better in Banff.

Amr Zaher

Latte was good. Breakfast sandwich was not fresh and was a bit cold on the side. Absolutely hated it..

Kate m

It was ok, nothing special. Felt it was expensive for what it was and my kids didn't like it.

Brittany Vanderpost

Great local place in town. Best London Fog I’ve ever had! Baked goods are amazing ????

M Matthews

For the love of god, do something about your leaky lids!!!! Love your coffee and breads, but man,how hard can it be to get a lid that doesn't leak?? My shirts cant take it anymore...

Jeff Tessolini

Great place. Had to drop a star due to the fact that they changed their breakfast sandwich and it's not as good anymore. Used to be a 100% go-to in the morning

Van Gysel Jules

Good bakery in Banff with delicious croissants, the only point is that if you don’t go early they tend to run out quickly.

indiego montoya

My wife is shouting profanities about how good the veggie focaccia is

Hugh Morrow

If you are gluten sensitive and like coffee and tea stop reading this and drive to this place it’s unreal it’s the best. Flat white? This is the best I’ve ever had :D

P N

We've been coming here frequently since 2013. Quality of service just keeps decreasing and irritated staff when asking questions don't help. Marketed as a premium cafe but not the quality. Speed is not the focus, we're willing to wait if the quality is wonderful. Decided not coming again.

Chris Arnold

Best local bakery I've found in years! Staff was friendly and helpful and food was exceptional!!!

Raymond Oh

Hot coffee and fresh baked goods. Not overly sugared like most chain restaurants.

Lewis Fraser

Fantastic coffee and easily the best in Banff, however the wait is off putting... The past 3 times we've been there we've had to wait in excess of 10 minutes; 2 occasions the order was incorrect and one occasion completely forgot the order. Think we'll stick to Evelyn's.

Dylan H

Great tasty bakery cafe. However, I suggest you get a little toaster oven to warm your croissants. Also fix the pen for the suggestion box ????

N. Danis

Took a mocha and could barely taste the espresso. Nice employees though!

Nancy DaDalt

So awesome to see people in the cafe again, made me very happy to see everyone spaced out with all the appropriate protocols. And then the bread...garlic sourdough, absolutely delicious. LOVED the hot cross buns too. Coming in for more of this this week for sure, they tasted as good as my Mom's.

Nicholas G

Coffee is great, service is great and so are there sandwiches. Really wish they could expand on their sandwich and panini options. Overall, would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a cafe in Banff.

Peter CJ

Best Bakery in town, superb bread & cakes. Nice friendly staff !

Kanchan R

Very nice bakery offerings including some of the best true fruit compote in their yogurt and granola bowl. The croissants are super flaky and puffy and delicious. Great place to start your morning off in Banff!

Tanja H.

Worst customer service ever! Absolutely overrated place, I've been there two times, two times I've had the impression, all this people don't wanna work there, starring to the wall while you're making your decission. No sorry that it took them 10 min to heat up a sandwich. Maybe they have some good food, but with this unwelcoming attitude I really couldn't enjoy it. There are way better places in town.

Dmitry Ovrutsky

Excellent place for breakfast. Granola and yogurt bowl is excellent!

Reema M

delicious food, good variety, great coffee, lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff (:

Helen Xu

The pastries and coffee were pricey but good. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. It was my first time visiting so of course I took a few extra seconds to decide my order and I tried to ask a question but the lady working at the cashier was very unfriendly and impatient as if she had no time for me. There was no smile, no thank you, and her tone of voice sounded very irritated. I was really surprised by her rude behaviour as there was only one customer behind me and she was not busy at all. Awful customer service!

Samantha Grand

We ate here today, was good. Watching another patron pick up his order from the counter - the employee put the plates down, one piece of toast fell off the patrons plate, the employee THREW IT OUT, patron came up to get his food unknowingly and took his two plates back to his table. My husband was laughing, I said surely he's going to make the patron another piece, but the employee just went along like he didn't just rip off the patron. This bothered me! Especially considering the high cost of their goods (definitely worth it, but only if you're getting what you paid for). Employees should have some integrity.

Cat V

Delicious coffee and bread, okay pastries and sweets. Line was long but moved very quickly! I'd recommend!

Karishma Mohamed Hussain

The breakfast sandwich is serious value for money. Healthy options and friendly staff

JC C

Excellent selection of pastries and also sandwiches. Tasty at a great price. Pleasant surprise for my first try!

Laurel Hoover

Love that they have gluten free, vegan muffins! Delicious!

Beth Hutton

I usually go to Little Wild Coffee while in Banff, but I thought I’d try Wild Flour Bakery today. I wish that I had gone elsewhere, especially with all of the great coffee shops in Banff, including Evelyn’s and Whitebark. I was served cow’s milk rather than oat milk (I am allergic to cow’s milk), and the coffee was luke-warm. I asked for my coffee to drink in, but it was served in a take-away cup. When I asked for it to be put into a mug, the barista responded that she had already made it in a take-away cup so I can ‘just have that’. When I insisted that it be served in a mug, she then tipped into a regular mug, which made the flat white too foamy. The only reason that I’m giving two stars rather than one is because I have previously had good experiences at Little Wild Coffee, and I was told that the barista was new, so I understand that she may have felt stressed/accidents happen.

Brittny Molina

Best bakery and lattes. 20/10

Catherine R

Cute atmosphere and good coffee. Not going to find a hearty breakfast here but if you want a pastry item this is the place to get it! I've also heard their take away sack lunches are good!

Neil Davidson

Lovely little bakery with Amazing croissants and baked goods, staff is typical Banff friendly, mocha I ordered was perfect. Definitely make a stop here if in Banff

A T

Update in Aug 2020: From 5 stars to 3 stars They clearly have changed their espresso and their latte is no longer the same since July. They are using little wild's one now that we all knew was different. You are losing the locals that support your business in slow season over this change. Very sad about this. I won't be coming for latte anymore after 6 years being very loyal to it and referred many. Pastries still good tho. Time is tough now but hopefully they will bring back the good espresso. For tourists that find it good, just FYI because they use full milk instead of 1% or 2% (that the big brands use) And staffs are not as friendly this summer. They were still very good during the months the town was closed in April/May. Really sad to see my fav place in banff going down slope like this. No longer like this: Best latte in town, local's favorite, never disappoint, always busy. I am not a coffee drinker at all, but I couldn't resist wild flour's maple latte. Staffs are awesome, always friendly. Their scones and croissants are the best. Not sure if i really want to share the following, but their focaccia is my favorite! Only 1 pan of veg and 1 pan of meat at 11:30am everyday, sold out fast, wish they can make more! Makes a good lunch, and make sure you ask for it to be grilled. Delish~ The only draw back for me is that they used to use organic milk but now it's hit and miss with it. I get sick if I have regular milk, sometimes even the lactose free milk from Stxrbxcks. So I started coming here because of the organic milk as well. Yes. soy is an option but latte doesn't taste the same with soy milk. Sometimes I didn't ask as I was told it is always organic, but it wasn't then I got sick. Lesson learn, I always check before ordering now. Yup, sometimes the staffs are clueless about it too. But that wouldn't stop me from getting my maple latte every time when I am in town! Thank you!

Philipp Leberer

Pretty good sandwiches and coffee. Also nice atmosphere to work or chill. On the pricier side but it's Banff after all

The barista woman was very rude. This is a tourist city. Customers are not employees, so they don't know where the cafe items are. Was it annoying to answer questions? Don't you think it's rude to point with your fingers instead of answering? The barista made me the worst memory. I hope you don't do it if the service industry doesn't fit.

Daisy Lee

The older man who accepted my order was very kind. But the barista girl was the worst. When I asked where the cup lid was, she didn't answer and pointed only at her hand. I know she's busy, but can't you be nicer?

Will Vahle

Sourdough is killer, and they were kind enough to sell me a loaf 20 min after closing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kathryn B

Really enjoyed a coffee here. Their brownie and triple chocolate coffee are also really good. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Alex H

Really nice chilled vibe; Great coffee. Perfect spot for a catch up or just to sit and read by the window.

Logan Gooding

Very yummy chocolate cookie

Anthea Nelson

The bread is amazing! Go for a coffee, but take home a loaf. If you don't you're doing yourself a disfavor. Also, the latte was exceedingly good. The kids ate chocolate zucchini loaf without even knowing they were getting any veggies, and the atmosphere was nice. The place was crowded and the stream of customers never stopped. We'll be back.

Andreas Dilger

We rode here on our bikes from the Canmore Visitor Center, about 20km. Plenty of bike parking out front. I had a falafel sandwich, with carrot soup and a triple chocolate cookie, while my friend had a kale salad with a Montréal smoked meat sandwich. Both of us enjoyed the meal in the outdoor courtyard.

Caroline Bates

The best carrot cake I've ever had!

Thomas M

Great pastry very crispy n flakey. Americano was fine.

Good coffee. This cafe is awesome and has a bit of a “hippie” feel. Service could be a bit better since it is a bit slow.

Sammy S

If you’re in Banff and looking for some good coffee in the morning this place is highly recommended. The food was so good freshly made all of it and great quality coffee, we got mocha and London fog plus ham&cheese croissant, banana loaf slice and herb & garlic scone can’t stress enough how good everything was if you’re in Banff check this place out you won’t regret it

Kyle Stewart

Terrible attitude from the person serving us. Will never return. Better coffee and baked goods elsewhere.

Tam

Atmosphere and the view is good. Seems like it's a busy place but the wait wasn't too long and people got their orders through at a good pace

Rafael Silva

Focaccia - don’t skip on it. Fresh one was made at 11:00 am and it was unbelievably good.

Lauren Price

The perfect grab and go! We got a couple sandwiches and they were PERFECT. Crispy bread on the outside soft and delicious on the inside, and so much flavour! Highly highly recommend :)

The place has a great environment, but I was very disappointed with their lack of friendliness to dogs. They advertise online about their dog treats, so we went there with our pup and had a great lunch with no issues. The next day we came back and they kicked us out after we had ordered, leaving us standing outside in the freezing waiting for overpriced grilled cheese sandwiches. Management needs to figure out whether they are dog friendly or not. Until they are, I will not be returning.

The gentleman at the front was VERY friendly and knowledgeable. Outside patio is nice and the coffee was great!

Parimal Mehta

Nice healthy breakfast and lunch place with lot of vegan choice. Very helpful staff in a busy cafe where you order and pay. And when food is ready they call you

After a self-led coffee tour through the city, this place makes the best double shot 8 oz Americano in Banff. Each sip has interest, a medium to full body, and a somewhat clean finish that lingers pleasantly. The cup also does not develop any sour or acidic notes as it cools (rare). Finally, we didn't get any sulpheric notes that we had been detecting in other shops. The wildflower must have a good filtration system. Nice place to stop, and your pet might like the dog biscuits too. ✌️

Yury P

Great latte and a tasty grilled cheese sandwich (spicy but delicious!).

Ryan Fiske

Yummy, unique focaccia grilled cheese.

Braden Tidball

Which the had bakery/cafes like this back home. The ambiance is very pleasing. Their bread is just the best ever! I got the soup of the day which was parsnip coconut. So good I'm going to learn how to make it myself. Went with 4 friends and they also really enjoyed their meals. I'd recommend going for an early lunch

André Kougioumoutzakis

Excellent coffee! I had a freshly baked blueberry and peach muffin with it and was so tasty.

Manju Sharma

Great experience . Food was fresh and delicious. I tried veggie sandwich, coffee, almond croissant. The only issue is they hv limited seating available. It's a great place to eat.

Mari Gra

Delicious coffee. Scrumptious baked goods. Great and friendly service and local to boot. Off the main drag in Banff but worth the visit.

R Whist

Thank you Gary for the delicious breakfast and for helping me keep my two dogs happy while I enjoyed my coffee!

Jim Buckingham

I have been buying bread regularly at Wild Flour since they opened. I highly recommend any of their breads, but especially the sour dough which has a great crust, chewy centre and amazing flavour. I had a Danish the other day and it is the best Danish I ever tasted, crisp puff pastry and a wonderful cream cheese and cranberry filling.

Jana Reis

The food was really great. I had the meat sandwich with tomato soup. Tasty misture of flavors.

Chris Noel

we went for breakfast AND lunch - great scones and great sandwiches!!

Jess

Came here everyday on our trip because the coffee was so good!! The baristas are definitely skilled and make great coffee. I’m also thankful for the vegan panini which was my lunch everyday in Banff.

I can see why this place is constantly busy every time I walk past by. I decided to try it and I was sold on this place. I ordered the mocha which was just right! It wasn't overbearingly sweet compared to mochas at other coffee establishments. The pastries were delectable too. I look forward to trying other coffee options next time I am in the Banff area.

Gary Lambert

Fantastic pastries and food. Multitude of tasty food options. Excellent coffees and other hot drinks. Well worth a visit.

We have tried the mushroom and cream cheese savoury muffin, Danish, zucchini chocolate loaf, frittata breakfast loaf, grilled cheese sandwich with apple and spicy peach jam, and strawberry Danish- all delicious ????. The sourdough bread used in the sandwiches is particularly good. I bought some loaves to take home. Prices a bit high but the good quality and great taste make up for it.

P PS

Was there today around 2:30pm and ordered coconut carrot cake, lemon tart and passion fruit cheesecake. Was served by an older guy who handled cashier as well. He did NOT use a tong or glove to pickup my food; just his bare fingers grabbing the sides...eww! Tongs were right in front of him and he didn't use them. REALLY wanted to call him out for that but I didn't. Not going back again.

Joëlle Lacroix-Blais

Busy little place and the aussy barista was amazing!

Greg Danaj

Best coffee in town and real fresh and authentic baked goods.

Chris Watton

Coffee was great, and the food was amazing. It was hard to make a choice because it all looked so good. Probably the best croissant I've ever eaten

Silia C

Absolutely fantastic! We were going to go to the next door restaurant but after looking at the crazy prices for a simple burger we kept walking and found this gem! Tasty food for a great price!!

Hans Schmidt

Every time I went, they had great coffee. The food quality can vary, but the coffee is always well done.

Paul Wilkinson

Great little sandwich shop with fresh baked bread!! Staff was a little wild!! Pun intended!

Ray

A great coffee shop located near the center of Banff market. I’ve got nothing else to say except that the croissant’s are a must!

Pam C

Excellent coffee and baked goods, free wifi, friendly staff.

Wietske Filius

Nice relaxing place, great croissants, (the really crispy ones not the soft ones) good coffee and music!

Michelle Patterson

It was ok. The lattes, flat whites and hot chocolates are too milky and weak, and the servers weren’t very welcoming. Otherwise the baked goods were excellent and the shop was cute.

Eman A

The coffee is good but the breakfast sandwiches are terrible. Would never come back

Ridzyr R

Good coffee, nice vibes.

Isa D

Excellent coffee, excellent tea, excellent desserts - coming back here tomorrow to try the lunch!

Hannah

I just ordered a iced latte. It was good and the staff is friendly. Might be a few minutes wait as it looks to be pretty popular!

Kim Weezer

I was looking for a coffee and found this little gem. The coffee was great! I’ll be going back tomorrow morning to pick up a loaf of fresh baked bread. Yum!

Chris Althorp

Love this place. Terrific bakery and coffeeshop.

Yohannes Zelleke

The best organic coffee place in Banff. Recommended to have coffee at this coffee shop. Plus excellent service provided .

Mauro Kesselman

They are closed for kitchen renovations... There's no information on their website, no message on answering machine if you call. And their website still allow for pickup orders (which aren't happening). Probably a nice place, I guess I won't know
