Disappointed that it has a label for being a bakery. They DO all in house same day! BUT it is not the typical kind of neighborhood bakery. It is all authentic Ethiopian food. The smell alone will make sure you are ready to eat!! Anybody with kid's though may not want to drag them inside as I didn't see any luring temptations any kid is likely to quietly enjoy. Staff are very friendly & will explain the techniques to some of the dishes. Just don't expect a full recipe. Is no other real food places close by to offer any fair price comparison without it being handmade to fast food.

I get the Pandesal when it comes right out of the oven. It's great!! Come here for a breakfast with eggs, but I end up not gaining weight. A Win win.

Food came out hot and delicious, fast and very friendly service. Mango Drink and the mango smoothie tasted great. To top it all off the hot brownie with ice cream on was also amazing. The restaurant itself is stylish and clean. Overall a really really nice place to eat.

First time here and it's really good food. The cashier was awesome choosing the suggestion when I asked and compliments to the chef. I'll definitely come back here for a second round. It's nice and quiet during the day. So it's great for readers or writers because you have nice calming music in the background. Yes it's in a different language and I may not understand it but the sound and the expression of the music is soothing while eating. They also have a stage so probably other awesome things happen here Haha. You can probably ask to play different music I just didn't want to ask cause it was nice listening while eating haha.

This charming little bakery had delightful Puto, fresh coffee, and friendly service! We also tried out the pork bun, which i found well seasoned but a little light on the pork, and the ube buns, which were fantastic. The best deal, by far, was the chicharon - so cheap and really nice consistency of the meat. The interior could use a little love which is all that kept it from five stars. I'm told that they're a great choice for skipthedishes, who i saw pick up twice during our short visit.

Hi! I am really sorry but I have to give my honest opinion. The place is good and decent. I love everything except the soup we ordered. I think you guys should tone down the Anais spice. When we had our soup I only had two sips and a few noodles as the star anais was overwhelming! That spice shouldn't be used that much as it is very strong. We took it home anyway to give to my mom because we thought it was just us that aren't used to that spice. But as soon as she sipped the soup, she gagged. Soup's straight to the garbage. I didn't mind the waste of my money, but it was a waste of food. I hope you will tone down that horrible spice or better don't add that up in making the soup. I will still be back to buy my other favorites. But for now I won't be ordering that Mami soup till you have that spice eradicated.

Unmissable treats : Spanish bread & pan de sal, Spanish for 'bread of salt ' Pan de sal is a common bread roll in the PH. Delicious when served fresh from the oven & slathered with half a knob of butter.

Decent place, not busy, lots of seating. Place is a bakery and a restaurant, fast food style menu. They take credit/debit. All day breakfast menu which consists of meat, rice, an egg and a piece of fruit. There are other food items available but didn't get a picture. Coffee is basic that comes out of a Thermos. Didn't get a chance to try much of the bread but got the sweet buns and a banana thing covered in a spring roll wrap. It was good, tasted different. I believe the food is Philipino which I forgot to ask. Unfortunately they had their own music playing which i didn't understand. There is a tv for watching though on mute. No wifi except Shaw open. Staff was friendly. Despite the meal looking small it was quite filling with the additional baked goods.

Highly recommendable restaurant. As a Filipino , I am satisfied with their food, their inner place are relaxing because of Filipino music, it fits with the theme of the store. If there is one improvement I can suggest, more kinds of Filipino dish they should make. But so far, very great job for Tambayan ni Kabayan

Me and some colleagues got to try out their food for the first time and it was delicious! The food was very reasonably priced at under $10 a meal and it tasted very authentic. Definitely brought back memories for me as I am half Filipino. There are many places for Filipino cuisine but they don't all taste like home. Definitely worth checking out, as I certainly will!

Went there for lunch, the food was great, really big portions. The lady working the counter was really personable and she had a smile on her face the entire time even when I asked for more veggies.
