I wish I had taken pictures of all the food we ate, but we ate it all so quickly because it was so good I didn't have a chance to take any! This is a great spot to stop for lunch or a quick snack break. Everything is fresh and tasty. Lots of comfort food - warm and delicious. My favorites are their quiches and red velvet cookies!

Best breakfast sandwiches I think I've ever eaten - eggs were so light, fluffy and full of flavour. Honourable mention to the sausage rolls and cherry Danish! Avoid: their cinnamon bun. Was a little dry on top, bit of a disappointment. London Fog has promise but needs a bit of adjustment with their tea/milk ratio. Service is friendly & quick, you can sit in and eat, nice and clean. Toilets open to customers.

Good bakery with a good selection of freshly baked goods and beverages. Service can be a hit and miss. My hot chocolate took 20 minutes to make during my last visit. And this one was during the mid afternoon with only 2 people ahead of me.

Came in looking for a specific pastry for our girl's birthday, they didn't have any but suggested something else that ended up being absolutely delicious They also had tourtière available which was a nice surprise. Staff, desserts, coffee .. great all around, we will be back.

We stopped in for a couple of beverages and a strudel, which was delicious. Plus we purchased a couple of pretzels to take with us.. I ordered the cappuccino and my wife ordered the cafe latte. We had to show our Restriction Exception paperwork in order to enjoy our coffees in their seating area. After we finished, they had spray and paper towels to do a quick sanitize of our table.

update: I vomited. not super happy with anything honestly, sandwiches were nothing special, i DO NOT recommend the cream of mushroom soup, it honestly tasted like mucus in a bowl. absolutely no seasoning nor salt. you are not giving utensils nor napkins. tables are not cleaned between customers.

Cream horn was stale. Clearly not made that day and very hard. Even the cream was sticky and hard and tasted stale. The staff were so nice and sweet, everything was clean and well presented but for $4.99 it was a waste of money. Would not recommend this place or come here again.

We bought a bunch of pastries and coffees from here and we were enjoying their food on their patio. Because we had food from a neighbouring business, we were told we were not allowed to use their patio because of certain policies. I understand the need to follow restrictions and what not, however we felt singled out since we were clearly not the only party to do so, this afternoon. There were other parties clearly just taking a rest on the tables without any food, and people with items that were obviously not sold at the bakery. Just feels quite embarrassing to be the only party to be told off, especially that we were chomping down on nearly a dozen of their cookies, a struddle, a donut, and two coffees. Furthermore, we were told off after we had already left their patio. The food was pretty good at the time, but I guess this encounter here has soured our overall experience. It's hard not to sound resentful about what happened, but I'm trying to give a genuine review and to outline what happened objectively. Not sure if the cookies we bought, will ever have the same taste after this. I feel sad, because I was about to rave about the certain cookies I bought, but don't think I can now. Edit: Management reached out to us to sort things out. We're happy that they took the constructive criticism to heart, and that things can improve to better customer experiences in the future.

I've been visiting JK a lot lately, and I can't pick one go-to because everything I've tried so far has been incredible. The paninis are amazing (I recommend ciabbata). The muesli cookie is delectable. And the pretzels are so amazing, but you have to get there before lunch to ensure there are some left. I like to put the pretzels in the toaster oven for a minute when I get them home so I can eat them warm!

Wonderful little Bakery ???????????????????? located just off Mainstreet downtown. They have a lovely inside cafe to enjoy your Bakery items as well as coffee ☕or tea????. They also have a little outside seating area to enjoy the outside fresh air and views????⛰️????. The cute little birds???? love to hop around the tables along to floor and enjoy any crumbs left behind by visitors. I enjoyed my Bakery items outside while watching these little guys and it made my morning.

Tried a little bit of everything. All was really good. The Cherry Danish is my all time favorite! The Quiche was very filling and tasty, would definitely buy these two things again! The ginger cookie was a little to hard for me but tasted really good, the chocolate croissant was good as well, it had chocolate in the middle which was a nice surprise, however I wasnt the biggest fan of the chocolate myself. The lemon poppy seed shortbread cookie was good too wish it was bigger ???? but it was priced well (>1$) I should have gotten more then 1!

A gem in Canmore just of the beaten path. The baked goods and coffee are delicious. Had a cinnamon bun (heated), double chocolate cookie, peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and a brownie with a medium roast coffee. All were fantastic. Good wifi. Lovely seating area both inside and out. Staff were super friendly. Prices were very reasonable.

While walking in the Canmore downtown on Oct. 9 we happened upon JK Bakery. We decided to get some snacks and treats for our hike the next day on Pigeon Mountain and were very pleased with the look of the pre-made sandwiches and sweets. There were gluten free options which I was very happy about however when I opened my sandwich the next day I was shocked at how small the bread slices were but the sandwich was awesome! My wife had a breakfast sandwich and really enjoyed it as well. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was kinda pricey however we did enjoy what we bought. Worth visiting and purchasing home made food. Giving 4 stars only because of the price and the very small gluten free bread slices! Taste and Service is a 5 star indeed!!!

Price is inflated maybe due to location. $7 for a large coffee and cherry cream cheese danish was too much considering that the danish was just a peace of dough with a little touch of cheese and jam so l had to throw it away. I also didn't notice a hand sanitizer at the entrance while the self serving area for coffee and milk was open. Coffee was good.

The food here was so good! Tried it for the first time today and it was incredible, definitely a hidden gem. Nothing beat having piping hot soup and pot pie after a cold hike. Wish I had also tried the amazing looking pastries and sweets. Will for sure keep coming back here when I visit Canmore.

Came for soup and a sandwich. 3 of us ordered Broccoli cheese soup, was luke warm, filled bowl only 2/3 full, for which the staff offered 1 cookie (apparently to split between the 3 of us). No cheese noted in soup. Panini sandwich was good but pre made so no customizing. Everything comes packed to go even though dining in, a huge waste! Wont be back.

This is one of my favourite local cafes. The staff are friendly, it has a comfortable atmosphere, the coffee is great and the prices are the best in the area. I come here several days a week to work, eat and get my coffees. They have two locations in Canmore and one in Banff and all are worth a visit.

Delicious food with very respectful staff. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after a day hike in Canmore based on a friend’s recommendation. We had the turkey panini with an apple strudel. and a coffee. The panini was served hot and was delicious. The apple strudel was also fresh and was not overly sweet. Staff were very respectful of social distancing and were wearing face shields, masks, and/or gloves with sanitizing spray bottle in the washroom. Happy to have stopped at this place after our hike!

I highly recommend JK Bakery in downtown Canmore. They created a beautiful and delicious naked vanilla cake for me and were very accommodating with my last minute order. Their pricing was also very reasonable compared to other bakeries in the area. (Note: I added my own berries)

Have come here twice now with my wife and we love it! The staff are always friendly and even when it gets very busy, they still have a smile on their face and keep serving everyone with kindness. "Why won't you clean the tables?" And here's why we won't come back. We loved JK for their sandwiches and cream horns. We stopped after we had to wait today for someone to come and wipe the table. Around our plates, no one bother to lift it (my wife was going to...)Why would you ask your staff to wear a mask, clients to keep the social distancing and use hand sanitizer if you can't simply have someone to wipe down the table (full of bread crumbs, people hair and not sure what else) Waitress almost yelled; We had a line up outside the door, sir! Yes, it was busy Sunday afternoon, but come on...it took 3 people to ring my wife's order through; coffee, two soups, salad and sandwich. We are not in the risk group but why would we risk by eating again in the dirty environment?
