I had the honor of being a part of changing history in the province of Ontario in my constitutional case, COATES v WATSON. Robert contacted me in September 2016, offering his services on a pro bono basis. For a single mother of an adult special needs son, this was truly one of the greatest gifts he could have offered to us. I worked closely with Robert from September 2016- September 2018. Worst lawyer I have ever used. Cost me $25,000 for a Family Law case. I would have been better off to represent myself, I could have ruined my life for free instead of paying him. My ex-wife got everything she asked for and Shawyer got me nothing. He even failed to get my CRA tax deduction because he forgot to include it in the final court documents. He was very intimidating and threatened to close my case because he hadn't received my cheque in the mail. -NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Graciously agreed to take over my case from an incompetent and expensive lawyer i had working on my divorce. It was a refreshing change. They charged me a fair rate and worked on my difficult case for 4 years. They followed my public guardian's directions and got me everything i was entitled to receive under the law. Expect these things to take time. If you rush, you are probably not getting everything you deserve. Follow the advise you are given. It's why you go to a lawyer in the first place. I reviewed my bill regularly, and i can say it was never artificially inflated.

Andrew S. was a terrible lawyer. Represented me in a family court matter, which he did absolutely nothing. He did not inform me on certain things. The only reason why i am giving them a 2 star is because Mr. Shawyer is a great lawyer however is affiliate partner Mr. Andrew Sudano is not. I used Andrew sundano for a family matter case.. his communication was poor, did not follow directions well, had the legal clerk do most of the work, and did not give good or even decent representation at clerk. I would not recommend this lawyer for any of your serious matters, he is only after the money
