My boyfriend went to Angelica because he needed an advice from a qualified lawyer to fix his status in Canada. Angelica not only charged him $6,000 for nothing but she also ignored to pass the important information to the person involved. Angelica received letters from the immigration that she didn't inform my boyfriend. He lost the chance to appeal because he didn't know about the information that the immigration was passing to Angelica. He is now without status. She is one of the crocodile lawyers in Ontario. I took my sponsorship case to Angelica's Legal Firm and in it was a great decision!. She was extremely diligent and professional; her team went above and beyond my expectations and showed excellent results. Angelica is a very talented, knowledgeable and experienced practitioner, you can see that from the quality of her legal advice and her approach to the specific cases. In terms of cost, I would say it was very fair (around 4k), taking into account the kind of process it was, the amount time of it would represent for her and her team and, most particularly, the importance it had for me and my wife. Angelica approached the case very professionally, she explained us the different avenues and alternatives we had, and advised us which would be more convenient for us to follow. She was very responsible from the get-go and made us aware of the inconveniences and barriers we might face and helped us overcoming them along the process. Angelica and her team did not make any promises in terms of the time the sponsorship process would take, instead she referred us to CIC's web-site and told me to be ready to wait for what the ministry established, which back then was 13 months. We made the application in late November 2017 and by middle July 2018 my wife had already become a PR. The process took less than a year and we did not encounter any barriers through the process thanks to her professionalism and extensive experience. As said, Angelica and her team went well above and beyond my expectations, their price was fair (and with out any hidden or surprise costs) they addressed my case in a very professional fashion. I am very happy and thankful to have had them representing me and my wife on that matter and would come back to them for any related matter and, off-course, recommend them to anybody in need of an excellent immigration lawyer.

I'm the husband of Carmen Rubio who also wrote a review on here. We were quoted an estimate of $8000.00 from this firm for the whole permanent resident application process for me to sponsor my wife. Furthermore, we asked if there is any payment plan for this process and Angelica told us that we have to pay $4000.00 upfront and then 2 months later, the other $4000.00 before application is sent out. Why is it so expensive for us and why is there not any payment plan for us? We repeatedly asked if there is any payment plan and the answer was "No". The price is too expensive for this whole process and to not have a payment plan is ridiculous! Who can really afford to pay all of this within 2 months?! What would happen if her office made a mistake and we have already paid all the fees? That doesn't give us peace of mind and I feel I'm being taken advantage of. After consultation with other lawyers from other firms, my wife and I see that the estimate for this whole process is about $5000.00 (taxes included). And these other lawyers have a payment plan for this process as well. Obviously we are disappointed and are very thankful that we didn't do our process with her.
