I'm fully onside with most other reviewers here. This Honest Lawyer slings delicious heart-attack food for a reasonable price, and the service is excellent. Don't hesitate. Also, ask for their in-house hot sauce. Nummy!

Finally decided to try this place out, after a year of driving by, and I was pleasantly surprised. The food is great, the portions are very generous, and the prices are all on point. My one point of criticism is that the beers on tap are all pretty generic. For Welland, this is pretty much on par with everywhere else. It would be nice to see at least one craft, or local beer, on tap. They've got tall boys of some other craft options, but nothing compares to a draft beer. With that said, we've still gone every week for the past few weeks for fish and chips on Friday. If you haven't been yet, give it a go! And try the Canadian poutine!

Our first stop last Sunday was The Kavern. The server took our order for two drinks and procceed to chat with a table for 10 minutes. We say pateintly for 15 minutes after waiting. I called in and said cancel that we're leaving. We walked to The Honest Lawyer and got prompt and friendly service e. What a difference. It was Sunday night. The young lady who greeted us was so nice when we decided to move outside. (way too loud band) The young man who waited on us was delightful. I'll be back but not when you have a band.

We ordered take out so my review is based on that. Our food was cold and wet from the Styrofoam containers. Had to place all the food in the oven to warm up. The "poutine" was terrible and the gravy thin like water. Unfortunately I would not recommend the Honest Lawyer takeout. It was HONESTLY disappointing.

Honest Lawyer has been somewhere I go on almost a weekly basis because the food (especially the spinach dip) is AMAZING and the staff are awesome! One girl in particular I believe her name is Tori/ Victoria?? Has been my server multiple times and is so attentive, sweet and checks in to make sure me and whoever I'm with is enjoying everything we order. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone !!

Awesome new place now open in the downtown core of Welland! Nice large open space for dining both indoors and outdoors, once side dedicated to games and arcade (not open atm/covid restrictions, but it looks soo cool! Cannot wait for that side to open up!) Stage for live music in the main dining area, projector screens for sports event viewing. Very large bar area and very comfortable waiting area near the restrooms for busy nights (there's even a nice fireplace too!). The food was AMAZING! I had The Mountie Burger with onion rings (first image) from the "Bailiffs Burger" menu selection (lol the sections on the menus are soo perfectly labeled its so funny!), my hubby had the "Buffalo Chicken Burger" with fries and a side of gravy (second image). Let me tell you, this was the most amazing burger ive had in a very long time! It was made with amazingly fresh ingredients, crisp vegetables and perfectly cooked beef on a brioche bun... it was piled high and even after trying to squish it i was only able to barely get the top bun in my bites haha. Serving sizes are amazing, you will not leave hungry when you eat here. I wasnt able to try any of the desserts during this first visit as we had to get home (and we were so full from our meals) and we couldnt possibly eat another bite lol. Definitely worth spending $50-70 on an amazing dinner date with your special someone or a small group dinner eith your friends. They have some amazing drink selections and daily specials too! Definitely will be coming back for another round because these guys knocked it out of the park today, in every way. Service was fast, server was polite and the food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Overall 10/10 and 5 stars HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE! ***UPDATE!!*** Feb 4th 2022!! Went back for another round of deliciousness now that we are all double vaxxed and have our QR codes! Took our youngest daughter out for lunch, she had the Chicken Quesadilla, which she devoured every bite of, which is rare for her because she is picky like her father lol, he had the Buffalo Chicken Tenders with fries and a side of gravy, sooo good (I stole a bite lol) and I had the most amazing Mac n Cheese I've ever had! It was beyond creamy and perfectly cooked, and served in my own little pot too! Soo cute! I seriously love everything about this place, from the menu section/selection titles, the mixed drink names (you have to read em to see what I mean!! Too funny!) and the serving sizes will definitely ensure you do not leave hungry. For dessert we shared a slice of their Turtles cheesecake with a side of vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream and a slice of the Triple Chocolate decadent cake... omg if you have a sweet tooth, you will not be disappointed with these amazing options!! Can't wait to go back for more!!

The food was…serviceable. The quesadilla was a quesadilla. My spouse had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, it was WAY over seasoned and had mushrooms. The burger my friend had was a pre made patty, like a bear claw burger. His spouse had the chicken clubhouse, which was pretty…serviceable. The best part of the entire meal was the French fries, which were amazing. If you're looking for a quick, cheap bite to eat, this is a good place. If you're looking for good food, go someplace else.

Went here for drinks and apps Saturday night. They had more Vizzy umbrellas than Vizzy coolers(none). No tonic for gin and tonic and the nachos had very little cheese and meat. Disappointing!

I went to the Honest Lawyer in Welland with my son and enjoyed a light lunch on New Year's Eve afternoon. I helped the owner find his phone he misplaced at Rona and later I get a text message from him saying thanks for the help and he said that I could have a meal on him at the restaurant he owns. So I took him up on his offer and were very pleased with the food and service we received. I will come back to the Honest Lawyer with the family when the restrictions get lifted. Cheers

So everybody should just stop what they're doing an order from the honest lawyer in Welland right now! I have been on the hunt for the perfect Cajun dry rub and not only did I find that but I found the best customer service I've ever come across in my life! The details are lengthy and arduous so I won't bore you with them but suffice it to say I have never in my life dreamed did the owners of a restaurant would go out of their way so above and beyond! ~ insert the Toy Story You Got a Friend in Me song here~ Seriously folks food off the chart service off the chart and I am just wowed!
