Clean rooms, probably the better hotel in Watson Lake..... restaurant has very good food

Nicole Smith

Very helpful and friendly staff. Very good room. Oscillating fan kept room cool. Restaurant was very good along with a good grocery store on site.

This place is absolutely adorable! The staff are all so nice, and the restaurant is the best I’ve ever had in a hotel!!!!

Pet friendly plus side. Hot miserable rooms, poor air circulation. The fan provided was not enough, brought in our own fan and that still wasn't enough to cool the room down. I am sure the hotel is great during winter when it is -20 or more. But you would do better in the summer to just camp at the lake down the road. The food in the diner was ok. The Chinese is the go to menu. I would avoid everything else. When ordering dinner be very specific on what you want to drink. Ice tea is apparently canned green tea and black tea is English style.

Couldn't use hair dryer and heater at same time without blowing fuse. Older, peiced together. Clean.

Sebastian Fralic

Rooms were super clean, they even stored my extra fuel inside, traveling on my motorcycle!

Jessica Rose

Friendly staff, clean room, nice restaurant. I will stay there again.

Just visited restaurant 6am to 10pm. Good food

Restaurant is a bad joke. Four of us at table, all ordered at the same time. Food came at 10 minute intervals. First one who got their food was completely done eating before the next was even served. Same thing for every other table too. Nobody was happy. Best to go somewhere else. Rate 1 star out of 5.

The staff is awesome and very accommodating! Convenient stop in the middle of nowhere, it’s definitely not a 5 star hotel, but they do a good job at making their customers happy. I would stay here again. The rooms were clean, I’m allergic to animals and considering they allow pets, I had no problems here. The convenience store and restaurant served their purpose, breakfast was great! Better than anything else we had in town, I highly recommend!

For what it is, over priced. Tiny TV, no air conditioning... but they do have a fan for you. Out dated and during summer hours with all the daylight, there are no blackout curtains. Compared to Big Horn hotel next door this is the Chumbucket.

This place was great! I was worried after reading the reviews, but the room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful! It's the only pet friendly hotel in town. The restaurant was fairly priced and quick and the food was delicious! Overall this place is an awesome place to stay with your family

Very comfortable and attractive room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A surprising treat to find on the Alaskan highway. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and it is a delightful stay for the price, which was reasonable. Conveniently located next to the Chinese restaurant.

Torie Reed

Good for pets, but not in the best shape. Clean and comfortable enough. Next to an excellent Chinese food restaurant.

Marc Monteith

Very clean and comfortable.

Stayed here a couple of times for work. Signs indicating that there are reno`s happening as if there are trying to present some sort of excuse for the condition of the hotel. Either finished the work or dont rent the room. If I was driving through Watson and wanted a room I would prefer to sleep in the car instead. Ask to see what a room looks like first before paying. Further more this hotel is trying to charge 500 a night during a hockey tournament . I would not even consider this hotel if planning to go through Watson is an option.

Brent Kind

Very nice staff with a great resturant. Will be sure to stay here again if in the area.

This was by far the most expensive room that we stayed in on our 14 day trip and by far the worst. The wifi would not work for me. My husband managed to log on but was cut off after about 20 minutes. The towels and sheets are pretty old and tired like everything else in the room and the walls are paper thin. I was woken up at 3am because the person in the room next door turned on the television. The windows let all sound and cigarette smoke from outside in and the mattresses were the saggy spring-type with a thin nylon outer sheet and no duvet. The shower was difficult to manage, switching from scalding hot to ice cold. You are given 2 coffees and 2 teas to make in the room but are charged 2 dollars for any additional. The coffee/tea machine gave whatever I brewed an unpleasant taste. The staff are very nice though and they are pet-friendly. It was overall a bit of a joke, especially considering the price!

Jeremy Sera

Nice staff, better rooms. You can purchase liquor at the lobby.

Re: Diner Pick a theme and go for it. Too many options on the menu and too many colors and decorations on the wall... if they would focus on just American diner food, pick one or two colors for the walls, and decide on a decoration theme it would be vastly improved. Staff was friendly but not interested in earning a tip, food was good but not inspired, atmosphere was Outskirts of El Paso weird.

Luis Lopez

Nice a quiet room! Helpful employees

Mark Scoyne

Expensive, but not really any other choices in town.

Stephanie Brown

The rooms were clean, very simple. The hotel is attached to a restaurant the food was average The wait staff was exceptional, very attentive, my coffee cup never emptied.
