This immigration law firm ruined my immigration case, I was offered 600 pts, they missed my deadline. They assigned me a new immigration lawyer... After my employer applied pressure, this lawyer folded and said she is actually from the accounting department... In the end after weeks of no communication. Mr sandalek called me himself and said there is nothing left for me. That was a lie. I moved to another immigration lawyer and she offered me 3 options.... Stay away from these people. It's a disaster. Their consultation fee is double that of other law firms. A nightmare experience.

I booked a consultation regarding immigration to the U.S. just to better understand a few things about visa types, spouse's eligibility to work, what-if scenarios, etc. Paid $250+tax in advance, non-refundable. I came prepared with my questions, but 5 minutes into the meeting with their lawyer I realized I knew more than him just by googling those things up. The lawyer agreed to check on a few things and come back to me with the answers later. It never happened, even after I followed up a couple of times days later. I never got a reply to my email either. Very disappointing and total waste of money and time. I hope this review helps them set things straight and other customers to be aware. UPDATE (July 2021): Mr. Mamann reached out to me to apologize for my bad experience and offer me a full refund plus a new consultation with him. My situation has changed since my first consultation, so even though he was very nice and really tried to help, the usefulness of this new free appointment was limited. Still I think it was the right thing to do therefore I'm adjusting my review and giving them 4 stars. It seems that I wasn't lucky and got an incompetent lawyer in the first consultation.

Reached out to them and paid the initial consultation fees which was 285$ and was supposed to atleast get me somewhere with my letter of employment and NOC code verification. Rachel was the lawyer that I got assigned and she told me she has another call she needs to attend after only 30 minutes of that consultation. I informed her I have a week or two max to get things through, and she told me she would send me an email with a custom package, which was another 1k per her quote. She has never got back to me since that half an hour chat and it's been more than two weeks, so just ended up submitting what a had. I really wish I could ask for a refund because this was just ridiculous in all honesty.

I am writing this review because it is well deserved. I was applying for immigration after working for 2 years and finishing school in Canada. I consulted 4 of the top immigration lawyers in Toronto before retaining Mamann, Sandaluk LLP for my case. My paid consultations at these top law firms were a disaster where I was told either I am not eligible or that it is a straight forward case both of which were not true. I would love to name the firms that i would tell people to avoid but that is not the intention here. My father is a lawyer as well so i have a decent understanding of how lawyers operate. Most of these law firms within the 1st week of trying to work with them truly showed me that i will just be a numbered client and get lost in the filing cabinets and will have to chase my own lawyer to get updates. This is true as some of my friends used the other law firms and are suffering due to minimal support or hefty fees in 5 Digits. I booked a consultation with Tabitha Holland, she was very nice and straight forward. She told me the strong points of my case along with the weak ones where i could find trouble. She explained everything well and although i had thought that i would work with Joel or Guidy, i couldn't be more pleased i stuck with Tabitha Holland. Most people would go back to the firm who would say we will get it done no problem but that is not necessarily the wiser choice.
