I cannot recommend Mr. De Marco more strongly. He is an extremely professional and thorough lawyer with decades of experience in defending clients. He prepared the case very effectively, considered all options, provided a strong, effective cross-examination, and was reassuring presence in the office and the courtroom as he fought my case. While I was convicted on some (but not all) of the charges, Mr De Marco continued to work on my behalf towards the best possible sentence. His discovery that I was applicable for a Gladue report, and the arguments provided in my hearing, not only substantially changed my sentencing but also started a personal journey of reintegration with my family's Anishinaabe culture.
