We didn't have a great experience buying our first home and using these guys as our lawyers. I think they just came up short when it came to communication, as the straw that really broke the camels back was three months after signing we were blindsided with $3,000 property tax assessment which we were never told about. However, we have to give kudos to them, as they owned their errors and gave us pretty much a full refund of their law fees. We heard from the whole staff except for the actual lawyer who did our mortgage for us. I contemplated taking our review down after they refunded us our money, but the entire point of Google reviews is to help people. To be fair, this may be an isolated incident. I think everyone can make mistakes. I would just warn first time home buyers that we were not equipped with the information we needed to make careful decisions in the purchase of our first home. I feel conflicted because I don't want to recommend this law firm to first time home buyers, but at the same time I want to be forgiving that mistakes do happen and can be learned from, and the silver lining is that they recognized the miscommunications and shortcomings,, and they made amends. We had a three star experience with this law firm, but it doesn't seem like we are a part of the majority, so take it as you will.

I went to this Firm in 2017. At first, I had a chat with Christopher regarding my family matter. Then all of a sudden, I was told that IAN MCKAY would be handling my case. So, I retained him. IAN MCKAY told me in writing and my legal Aid counsel: """"as per Opposition lawyer, I am not entitled to anything from my ex-partner in terms of property division.""""" Thanks God, I didn't retain him any further and won the Trial by myself with amazing monetary value in property division. I didn't know what else to do. Divorce is stressing especially when you have to pay for such kind of extreme poor service. Please do your homework before proceeding with IAN MCKAY and with this firm. Please note: IAN MCKAY did not even consider getting full disclosure from the Opposing Party. I had to issue a Supoena even to get the proper and full disclosure. Full disclosure led to big surprises.

When I first needed a divorce lawyer I had inquired with some friends about a Good Lawyer, I was given Danish's name by a friend of mine and I will say I was NOT disappointed. I am not sure what I was expecting, but my Good lawyer ended up being AMAZING . Had many ups and downs in the fight and Danish was always in my corner, kept me informed of BEST next move . Bitterly disappointed and unsatisfied with this law firm and the way they conduct their business. The most unprofessional law firm I have ever dealt with! At first Danish (Partner at this firm), left a good impression with me but apparently it wasn’t real. He was supposed to prepare a formal demand letter for a fee, regarding a very sensitive and important matter which he never did. His response time was ridiculously long and I had to keep chasing him around for answers. Prior to dropping me as a client over email he only sent a draft that clearly shows that he is either incompetent of this job or he didn’t take me and this matter seriously. Eventually he just stopped replying to emails and disappeared without giving any explanation and despite the agreement between us, knowing the situation I’m in. He and his firm turned out to be negligent, disrespectful and unprofessional and that is why I advise you all to stay away from them if you care about your business and personal matters and find a different, honourable law firm that will take you and your problems seriously.
