Robert Dilalo assisted my partner and I in purchasing our first home! It was a home in a development, so there were a few additional costs in the contract that we were unaware of which he made clearly visible for us. He was able to negotiate with the company to ensure we were paying a fair market price in regards to the home and these additional costs. Furthermore, he contacted us several weeks in advance of our closing date to ensure that our documents were received accordingly to close on time. He was thorough, and extremely detail-oriented. He explained every step of the process with us so we were aware of what to expect in terms of purchasing our first home. He made it super easy and super informative! Would highly recommend.

Upon becoming a mother I wanted to get my affairs in order so that their wouldn't be an ambiguity in the event of any unforeseen tragedy. I went to Daniel and Partners not really knowing what my options were. I hired Sarah Draper to prepare my will and powers of attorney. The price was reasonable and the service excellent. She took the time to review everything with me in detail to be sure that I understood my options. The experience was so positive that my family returned to her when we required assistance administering a loved one’s estate. Used in the purchase of a house. The receptionist was polite and friendly, understandable and super helpful. She was busy yet still made time to make sure we felt welcomed. We dealt with Matt de Luca who was a really nice and down to earth guy. Unfortunately i did not understand a lot of the jargon to the level I would like but i put my full trust in this firm - all documents are given and I can review at any time. They are very transparent and Id use them again in a second. Fyi - discounts apply if you're buying a house and both the seller and buyer use 2 lawyers from the same firm ???? My husband and I have used a variety services provided by Daniel and Partners. We have worked with Sarah Draper to create our Wills, on real estate transactions and when opening our company. Sarah is very knowledgeable and very thorough. We had our real estate contract sent to Sarah to review and were blown away with how detailed her notes were. She really dissected the contract and made sure we understood and were comfortable before waiving the condition. She provided examples and stressed the importance of considering all angles before accepting. We truly felt that she cared and was in our corner. This isn't the only time her attention to detail was evident. When we approached her when we were writing our Wills, we didn't really know what went into one. Sarah asked us a lot of questions and made the whole process painless and stress free. Again, she emphasized the importance of making certain decisions and worked with us until we were 100% comfortable. I worked with Robert and Andrea, they were amazing. Karina Bauer's (an earlier post) lawyer had really giving them a hard time and they were put in a hard position. Robert's client (my father) had left the country and left Robert and Andrea in an even harder spot. The Bauer's lawyer was trying to use a loop hole to take an extra $3000.00 off the sale price and Robert closed the deal without that happening. Cannot believe what they have done to me. They took complete advantage of the fact that I am young and don't understand alot when it comes to this kind of stuff. After being told they would be helping me free of charge because they were such caring people and understood that I had been screwed over and didn't have the money to deal with it. After a couple months of helping me they had asked me to come up with 500 dollars I don't have extra money like that so it took me a little longer I received a letter today stating that I owe a crazy amount of money that I can't afford they knew I couldn't afford and never once told me they would be charging me .just wanted to say thanks for helping a grieving daughter and single mother of two that had just been robbed blind you guys knew what you were doing you did it on purpose good job

Sarah Draper helped me administer my father's estate. He passed away suddenly without a will and my sister is a minor. She helped me obtain a Certificate of Estate Trustee without a Will, helped me with dealing with the Office of the Children's Lawyer. She dealt with the bank to get funds released earlier for the funeral expenses and she assisted with the sale of the property. Overall Sarah made this difficult time much easier for my family and I. Met with Ken Garland to discuss a family law matter. Ken was attentive and focused. He spent time asking a variety of detailed questions, birthdates, people involved, and then explained what he could do. For this we were billed several hundred dollars. I then contacted the firm to explain that I wanted to send in a $5,000 retainer and commence work. Ken's office contacted me back and explained that Ken was too busy to take my work. This behaviour from a law firm is not okay.

A few years back, Robert DiLallo helped us out when we were having some trouble with our old landlord. We had bedbugs in our apartment, and the landlord kept sending us nasty letters demanding we reimburse him for the exterminator. I contacted Rob about this and asked his opinion, and he explained that the letter this guy wrote to us was a farce, and was just trying to intimidate us. Rob sent him a letter saying that he had no legal right to try to claim money from his tenants, that he could not bully us like this, and our landlord finally backed off. Without Rob on our side, that landlord may not have stopped harassing us to pay him. Rob knew the ins and outs of the system, and he knew exactly what this guy was trying to pull, while to most people without law degrees that letter legitimately sounded like we were obligated to pay him. When a lawyer starts badgering you to pay him for something, it can be very stressful, but having a good lawyer on your side really takes the stress out of it. Rob was very knowledgeable, very personable and easy to deal, and very professional throughout our dealings with him. He always responded quickly to any inquiries we made, and he got the matter settled when we thought we might be in trouble. Rob represented his law firm very well, and if our experience is any indication of the rest of the firm, then I would certainly recommend Daniel & Partners to anyone that needs legal services that falls under their areas of expertise.
