Just like the experience from the positive review below. First meetings all nice, happy and full of hopeful words. Great plans made and assurances postulated. Smooth, smooth, smooth. Then, after months of 'unanticipated responses' or 'the judge should have NEVER done that, and a lot of, 'see, we filed all these papers, that's progress. etc. When you finally get the feeling that there is a ring through your nose, and screw yourself up to ask how someone with all these verbal assurances could possibly be 100% wrong in everything you've been told, this .......lawyer......actually threatens his client and sends them harassing letters and e-mails, just because you would have the audacity to question his lies. By this point, however, it will have taken so long, and so many wasted court dates and filed paper later, it would cost almost as much as you already paid this crook. And the smooth words will still flow like the honey in the pistols of a venus fly trap. Be extremely cautious of this ...lawyer and if you can feel the nose ring, trust me. It's worth it to just move on to someone else; anyone else...self represent even, just don't be one of the shattered people left in this mans' wake.

Terrible, terrible lawyer. He told me anything I wanted to hear to get my money, dragged out my case indefinitely, lied to me blatantly, refused my directions, made decisions for me unilaterally which I did not agree with or want, did no research whatsoever requested on my file, and left me broke, frustrated and lost. If this man was the only lawyer left in the world, I would self represent. Seriously, all of this was my experience dealing with this lawyer. Especially for family matters, this man was, in my personal opinion, clueless. I would save my money, sanity and family, and hire anyone else but Mr. Rogers. When I first walked into Rogers Law Firm I was in desperate need of legal assistance and guidance to help me through a custody agreement in which the safety of my son and I were in serious concern. He and Victoria have been absolutely amazing and honestly my saving grace! He is so calm, Patient and honest its mind blowing. Last year August I hired Craig Rogers. - took my 2500.00 - copied and pasted a weak Custody Agreement with spelling mistakes and the wrong details we discussed - went weeks without returning emails and phone calls - then charged me hundreds of dollars for my inquiring about my status!!! - then after 8 months I request to go court they demand more money!!!! They did nothing at all!!! - I am reporting this Firm to Law Society of Ontario. Please never use this man!! He is a time thief!!

Disappointing service from this law firm, Stephanie was great to deal with but could never seem to make it on the days she was needed, either to serve papers or to appear in court regarding an eviction. Craig Rogers appeared for our court date, was uninformed regarding the case, initially recommended waiving all of the tenants arrears, which was refused by us and after quite a bit of pushing we were able to retain a good portion of the arrears he wanted to throw out the window. We had agreed that Stephanie would be handling the case, and after she was "unable" to make the court date Crag presented us with only charging the paralegal rate as a discount to us when in fact it was all that was initially agreed to, during a discussion today with him regarding this he was quite dismissive, and seemed not to care that repeat business would not be in the future from me. I would suggest ANY OTHER LAW FIRM for any needs you may have, which seems to be in keeping with other reviews here.
