I retained her for my divorce. Worst decision of my life. She did not advise me and cost me thousands of dollars to my ex. Years later I had another lawyer checking the separation agreement and had to reopened some of the clauses because of her Incompetence. Thankfully I'm in good terms with him. Do not hire.

We used Gerbac Law for a military relocation as they were listed as an approved provider, and I wished we didn’t. We found out the day before our house was suppose to close, they still hadn’t submit for payments which are covered as part of our move and expected us to provide them with $1000’s in additional fees which we were not prepared for. Even with constantly reminding their office 3 weeks in advance, 2 and even the week before that they needed to submit payment, we were stressed and very upset to hear Gerbac Law had not followed through; especially the day before our closing date. When speaking to Carolyn, she was rude, and blamed everyone else but herself and her practice for their lack of planning and due diligence on following through on protocol. Carolyn even told us that she had no idea we were a military move until the day before our closing- which was unbelievable considering the very first email I had sent inquiring if they would take us on as clients, stated we were a military move. Her lack of professionalism during our experience with her, was embarrassing. At this point I’m glad the sale of our house went though and we never have to contact her office again. I do not recommend her for any other military family to go through a relocation.
