I have been in Canada for close to 17 years with my son without immigration status. I was refused multiple Humanitarian and Compassionate applications for permanent residence and used different immigration lawyers with no success until I met the Olalere brothers. Immigrating is stressful. There are so many little details and small things that you don't know, especially because of the lack of information on government websites. What information is daunting, and the thought of messing up is scary to say the least. 2 years ago, I decided I was going to try and immigrate my wife. this past week, my wife got her permanent residency approved. I applied for permanent residency in Canada for myself and my family through the Federal Skilled Worker Program (from outside Canada) and waited like every other applicant patiently for 6 months for my application to be processed. I was shocked with a refusal for my application in the 6th month for incompleteness which I considered to be a technical fault that was handled poorly by an incompetent immigration officer. There were many shortfalls in the way the immigration officer applied the law of IRPA with my application and it was my firm belief that this officer was poorly qualified to intelligently assess a complex application such as mine. I was not prepared to throw away 6 months of my life due the officer's error in judgement and decided to fight my case in the Federal Court of Canada. At this time I looked at a few immigration lawyers and consulted with one firm before consulting with Olalere Law Office. One of the reasons I was drawn to this firm was because of their 5 star rating on google. Their's was the only 5 star rating I came across on google (mid 2019) when compared to other lawyers in Canada. The other reason I went with this firm was because Kehinde himself worked as an immigration officer in IRCC which was comforting for me. Totally not worth it. Unprofessional and iresponsive. First, when I booked for 1 hour consultation and I asked how can we meet (because there is 100% no instruction on how the consultation gonna happen) He said he will send me link through microsoft or skype. I told him im using ipad and not sure ị it works on my ipad and never used Skype before. Then the consultation came the app did not work. It took 20 mins to start after the booking time. Of course it ended 40mins later which was exactly 1 hour. Moverover, he was texting, talking and emailing while my consultation is going on ( of course he will explain that he's looking for my information). Second, when I was talking to him, he knew that I had had another refugee application from another lawer who is not similar to Express Entry program so I had to book consultation with him. He also knew that I got ITA from CIC created by myselft. So my questions was all around that if Im allowed to apply CEC while having refugee claim going on. I was asking all the possible situation that it could affect the CEC appliaction, He surely repeated that they are not affect each others no matter any situations I gave him. Then He offered me $6000 to help me on my CEC application, I told him to give me couple days to decide. After that I asked my lawyer who filed my refugee application this situation so thay he could update information in case I apply 2 different applications. Then my lawyer said that I need to get comfirm from whoever said that the refugee application does not hurt the CEC application since I will get inadmissibility report after the interview which make the CEC application become ineigible. I Texted back to Olalere to ask him to make sure and confirm that it's not gonna be problem before I could apply. Then surprise, he denied everything he has said to me. He explained that because I created Express Entry myself, I have my own lawyer on refugee so he does not know al the situation (which he already knew from the consultation, and all the information I asked and gave him) He said the consultation is not legal work???? does that mean all he said from that is not valid at all? It took $350 for nothing. After that he just ignored my text, guess money paid it's all over. I do not know where all the reviews come from but if you are look king for a good quality lawyer and responsive, do not go there, that's a waste of money. From the different services I got from Gerami team, I decided to give 1 star review here. Think twice before making your decision, do not just look at the review. But now I know that the information You gave me is 100% wrong and I was asked to pay $6000 for that going-to-be-fail application( not to mention other lawyers is only asking around $3500-$4000) They got the same documents provides, focus on appointment, giving the right answers and they spend more time after appointment to explain everything. And WITH MUCH LOWER PRICE. THEY DO NOT DENY AND SAID IM NOT CONFIRMING IT AFTER GETTING PAID. NOT EVEN "I'm sorry that I can not provide more information after appointment"but just ignore the text :)). If you think your case is complicated, this is not where you should go to waste your money. These Olalere brothers know their jobs, but also know how to misguide you into paying more. I consulted them for getting advise about my immigration. I was about to graduate then. In the consultation, Kahinde (one of the brothers) made me believe into that Express Entry was my the best option and he saw me getting the immigration by December (we talked around June/July). Earlier one of the lawyers from Brampton in fact told me not to go for the Express Entry and wait until I graduate. However, after the consultation with these people, I got so convinced that I gave them the consultation and Express Entry processing fee (nearly CAD 3100). After that the more I came to know about scores and the process, I realized that my best option was to apply at the graduate pool because considering the increasing Express Entry score, it would have been difficult for me to be nominated in the EE pool. These lawyers knew that sooner or later I had to apply in the OINP program for the graduates. If they claim to be the best in the field, they knew that I was not going to meet the score requirements easily. Why somebody would recommend a graduating student to apply for the Express Entry when I easily could wait for a couple of months to apply in the graduate pool? So, you see, for them, it was trapping me into paying them for the second time. I don't know how these people have so many good reviews. I'm not saying that they are fraud but are very cunning to misguide people. I WISH, I had recorded the conversations. So, unlike me, do your homework and don't fall for the misguidance.
