Andrew took a personal and very supportive approach as he helped to guide me through a long and challenging labour hearing process that had already cost me too many sleepless nights. I went to consult Patrick James last Summer. He charged me $400 dollars per hour. I ended up paying $700 for 1.5 hours. Some of the time was wasted talking about 'life' rather than anything relevant to the law about my case. His advice, don't waste time or money with my case. Whether or not I actually had a case (which I did) didn't seem to matter to him. Or rather, if you were wronged in some way and your constitutional rights were infringed (which is one of his specializations as advertised) then don't attempt to seek help. His claim, that is how the system is. But you don't see him trying to make leaps to repair our judicial system. I consulted another lawyer some time later and found out that I may have had a case but it doesn't matter as the 2 year time period to do something about it had expired. If Patrick listened a little bit better about my case then maybe I would have received the help I needed. I suggest you look elsewhere.

We are a commercial condominium corporation, Patrick James and Robert Tarantino successfully helped the corporation out of a very difficult and complicated human right legal case in March 2017. They took over the legal case about three weeks before the hearing date, in such a short time, they worked very hard and did a amazing job. With that said, while I was extremely impressed with Patrick’s knowledge and expertise as a lawyer, his compassion, understanding, and the positive attitude as a person are all other great quality that he possesses. Often times, lawyers look at you as just another client and only focus on the case. This can be intimidating and make you less comfortable with your lawyer, which makes it less likely to win the case. All in all, Patrick is an expert lawyer who has passion for what he does with many years of experience under his belt. We need more lawyers like him in other fields.
