When Assistant J called me and said my lawyer G forgot our deal and asked me what's our deal, I was surprised. I don't know what happened. For me, I don't think it's professional. Didn't you have a note to refer to? And the tone on the phone made me feel like I take advantage. And I'm not comfortable with their way of communication. I felt like they do not want to "waste" any time on me. In the following emails, they confirm the price twice, no Hi, no a word of explanation. My first interaction with the attorney went well. I was very happy. The team was professional. At the end of my first call, the attorney mentioned that any follow up questions will be answered in an other call. I did my home work regarding PR sponsorship for spouse. The follow up call was disappointing. Very unprofessional and upsetting. Firstly,Attorney started off the conversation in a rude tone telling me that she cannot answer some questions related to the sponsorship application documents and other stuff which she is not obliged to. The tone could have been better. Did she think if I was trying to get answers so that I could file the application myself? Very wrong way of handling a client. After all, we seek out to Attorney for helping us and not scaring or threating us. Second, a very basic question was answered wrong in my first call. She told me that as a I PR staying outside Canada I could still sponsor my spouse. After I went through CIC website, I understood that she gave wrong information. It was a disastrous mistake. She did say her sorry but the damage was done. I would never recommend green and spiegel to anyone. They lost my business not because of the mistake in misinforming me (it happens) but with the rude tone and attitude.

I can’t believe that I just got a permanent resident. I hired 5 lawyers including Ravi Jane for my immigration case. My son had applied for his Study Permit to Canada in August 2020. Biometrics was done, all requirements completed in August itself. After that, there was no news absolutely - no response from the Immigration authorities, no one who you could reach out to, - it was an agonizing wait, I engaged with G&S in March 2021, specifically - with Mr.Ravi Jain - and was very impressed with his responsiveness and professionalism.He reverted promptly whenever I addressed queries directly to him (though for some of his assistants, there is room for improvement in this respect:)). Anyway to cut a long story short, son's Permit came through just couple of weeks after I engaged with them. To be honest, I do not know if this was a mere coincidence or due to the efforts made by Ravi & his team. I had done my homework, and I was aware of the maximum extent that a firm can officially approach the IRCC to expedite a case. That is not my point. My point is that when all avenues seemed shut, I was getting no coherent response from the IRCC for close to 8 MONTHS, had no one to reach out to and son was close to getting into clinical depression, Ravi empathized & held out a helping hand, someone one could to talk to, someone who gave me reassurance and comfort that all possible avenues were being explored to help the case. In such dire a situation, I cannot over stress the importance of the hand-holding & reassurance that Ravi & his team provided. I am truly indebted to Ravi for this. He also did an amazing job quelling any concerns and worries I had about the process, as well as the outcome of my applications. I would give Green and Spiegel a five star rating any day. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because of communication voids or gaps with one of his assistants. There would be days where responses to my emails/phone calls were prompt. However, there were times when several days would pass before I heard back from the assistant. The lawyer himself, on the other hand, was exceptional.
