We contacted Gilbertson Davis for a litigation matter. In the beginning they were very helpful, repeating every email that untill the payment was provided they were not retained. Finally we provided the payment and signed the contract and they told us out of the blue that some lawyers have gone away (2 in one month!??) and they did not have a lawyer that could assist us. Moreover they did not accept our retainer for some reasons (they could have accepted and sent back the next day) and we took 20 days to receive it back from our bank after their refusal. Finding a good lawyer in Ontario is very difficult, but after this stressful experience I will not recommend this Firm.
