Family law and court procedures can be overwhelming and unfair. The Gene Colman law firm and in particular Gloria Antwi helped me navigate my case and gave me the confidence to proceed with a clear understanding of how to approach the matter. Ms. Antwi was very meticulous and detail oriented as well as patient and empathetic. She really seemed to care about my case and after having met several other lawyers and judges that work in the Family law system during my case I can say that Ms. Antwi's concern was genuine and seemingly rare. The Colman law firm has a good understanding of the desperation father's can feel when facing the family law system and I would definitely recommend their services.

My own experience with mr Colman was not a good one at all. With each month passing, eventually I ended up fearing our own lawyer more than the opposite party. Because it is so difficult to change lawyers in mid trial, for many reasons, I felt effectively trapped. I developed lasting anxiety due to feeling unrepresented in the highly contentious world of family law, and being again and again dissuaded and heavily pressured into not settling, dragging this on. It was a huge relief when I finally stopped being represented by this law firm. Maybe a savvier person could work with mr. Colman in a healthier way. Not me. I just hope never to end up in court ever again.

I have used the Services of Gene C Coleman family law on 2 separate occasions. When I had my meeting with Mr., Coleman and Ms. Antwi, I was treated with the utmost respect and empathy. It was a very long anxious year and a half, but Ms. Antwi was behind me all the way. Mine was a complex case as a single father requesting custody of the 2 children of the marriage. Mr. Coleman and his colleagues are strong advocates of father’s rights, and worked for me, far and beyond my greatest expectations. I am now one very happy single dad with 2 very well adjusted young teens. I cannot recommend Mr. Coleman and Ms. Antwi enough. Hopefully the need does not arise again, but I would absolutely not hesitate to hire them again. Gene is expensive but if you want anything of quality it's going to cost you. I only gave 4 stars for price point but hopefully Gene will work out some services for access to justice for those who strugle. Nonetheless Gene is an advocate for fathers and change in the system. He is straight forward and won't waste your time. He will give you the direction that you need. I know plenty of lawyers and so few care about the success of their clients. Gene is the exception.

I'm not sure what to say... Family responsibilities is garnishing my wages. I'm literally starving to death, because FRO is taking so much of my paycheck. I reached out to Gene C. Colman Family Law in hopes that they could help (they sure talk like they care online). But just like the dozens of lawyers out there the advice is to lawyer up and go to court, to which I have spent my entire life savings 50,000.00. So how does one lawyer up when my Net income is $1000 but after Fro gets ahold of it and I pay the taxes I only take home $96.00. $60 goes in the gas tank so I can get to work to pay fro again which leaves me with $36 to pay my mortgage, bills, and put some kind of food on the table for my 2 children. I've tried to apply for a free lawyer but on paper they say I make to much money. I am in my 6th week of Fro Garnishing I haven't paid mortgage or bills in over 2 month. And when I'm finally paid up at Fro then I have to then try and catch up with everything I'm not paying. So in short Gene C. Colman Family Law you are just about the worst of the worst because you talk up those of us that ended up on the wrong side of the divorce. Make us believe there is hope and then sit back and do nothing but pass the buck.

I encountered Gene C Colman's Family Law Centre at a very trying time. A few weeks earlier my daughters had been abducted from Nigeria to Canada. I looked up and or had discussions with a number of law firms in my quest to address the situation. After my initial consultation with Mr Colman and his team, I was convinced they were the right fit for what would turn out to be a long drawn and testing legal battle that went as far as the appellate courts. I do not recommend this law firm. Beyond over priced legal representation that does not fax and file paperwork appropriately leading to delays. My representative seamed to struggle when addressing the judge and spent more time in back and forth unnecessary emails to use up the retainer as quick as possible. Constantly wasting time and delaying progress to stretch out costs in court. I have spent a large amount of time now in court undoing what this law firm has done to me. I have also received praise from the judge and continue to make a lot more progress on my own than allowing this firm to waste my money and time. Do not retain this law firm unless you like throwing away money.
