We used Kathleen Lumsden from Scotia Law for a relatively complicated real estate transaction involving the coordinated sale of two properties and the purchase of another property. It was a bit of a drawn out process due to three houses being involved however time was of the essence. We had an (almost literally) 11th hour issue on the closing day of the house being purchased which was incredibly stressful for us. Kathleen made sure that she was available throughout this process especially during the closing day and late at night to ensure the purchase and conveyancing was completed. Highest rate in the city and felt like I was put on back burner to receive my minute book and between the time I was incorporated to the time I received my minute book $3000 of my tools were stolen but because I did not receive my minute book until 2 1/2 weeks after incorporation I was unable to set up business bank account to set up insurance.. to cover my tools. There was no sympathy.
