I gave myself two months to feel better about what i want to share about my experience with Elana Mazinani. NOT To write from emotions but reality. I found them through the magazines (very first mistake) me and my husband are getting divorce and i was looking for a lawyer to draft a separation agreement for me. Well what an experience.... Even one star is way too much to give in my opinion. Elana might be a great lawyer in what she does Its not my place to judge that part. Her manner and the way she treated me as a client who paid for the service was very disrespectful and disappointing. She thinks she is your boss When ever she decides to meet you she only write email like this: See me on Wednesday at 4pm She thinks she is the only one who’s time is precious, and she has no sense of understanding how hard and difficult this time of life ( going through the divorce) is disastrous to a women. She treated me like a Robot with frown and a very disappointing attitude. She made me to go to her office for no reason few times. Gave me hard time and on top i hate her attitude. I don’t recommend working with her at all You need someone at least to know how to treat clients. Which is so important. I really couldn’t stop myself to not share this with you. The best memory i have from working with her was Karnia or kareina in her office who took a great care of me the last day i went there to collect Elana ‘s careless mistakes. So disappointed.... I hope you Elana learn how to connect with your clients one day

The worst experience of my life; The rudest person I have ever seen. unfortunately i did not check the reviews thoroughly here and in other sites. otherwise i would have realized that all positive reviews are fake and noticed that the experience was so terrible for people with bad reviews which is supported (liked) by so many others as well. Mazinani should not be a lawyer. I am aware of a few more pending complaints made against her to the Upper Law Society of Canada for her conduct. She pushes her clients to trials instead of settlement, as in her eyes, she gets paid regardless of if they win or lose. She goes into court unprepared and with a horrible and unprofessional attitude. She harasses her clients and appears to be mentally unstable. She is a threat to her clients and the Upper Law Society of Canada must put a stop to her practice.

Terrible lawyer who is currently awaiting to see if her license will indeed be suspended for 6 MONTHS by the Upper Law Society of Canada. She appealed their decision from March. GOOD LUCK! This is her SECOND time being found of professional misconduct. You can read her previous cases on CANLII and all orders issued by the Upper Law Society on their website. She has a terrible track record. Her goal is just to go to court/trial as that brings in the most money from her clients. Her poor clients aren't aware of her previous history to know not to retain her and therefore find out the hard way. Hopefully her appeal will be denied and justice will finally be served and that her license is suspended. She has a complete disregard for people's personal lives in the effort to capitalize as much as she can off of them. Shame on her. And these google reviews are written by her family members (including her mother), friends and other people paid to leave a review. Nice try.

there is absolutely no guarantee who are these people!!! I received an invoice for initial consultation through one person who claimed work for this law firm for 800.00 as initial consultation. on the invoice there was no proper phone number except the paralegal's cell phone number, no HST number and no law firm name nothing. only the name of the paralegal and one lawyer. Finally through google Map I found the phone number of this law firm so I can call and talk to the lawyer whose name was on the invoice to discuss the price. someone picked up the phone and I ask to talk to that so called lawyer. the respond I got is SHOCKING: " WE ARE DIFFERENT LAW FIRM BUT WE WORK IN THE SAME HOUSE AS THAT SO CALLED LAWYER BUT WE DON'T HAVE HIS NUMBER AND WE CAN'T GIVE IT TO YOU". then he hung up the phone. I called back and advised that person, one lawyer with your law firm address sent me an invoice. I need to talk to that lawyer. and the more shocking respond was this: "DON'T CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN"!! either you don't know if such a lawyer work for you or maybe you are skimming people but please have your act together. PEOPLE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAW FIRM!!!
