I couldn't be happier with Diamond & Diamond. I contacted them online and they got back to me right away! A day or 2 later, I was sitting going over my story with Steven Wilder in Windsor who he was extremely professional, personable, knowledgeable, and compassionate. His assistant was as well. As a side note, the office is very well kept, clean & modern. I thought I may not have had much of a case because I just had a broken bone in my foot but they took me on and I always felt like I was their main client even though I know they were extremely busy. There were times they gave me minor homework, rightfully so. They really fought for me, used many angles, sent an occupational therapist to my house, made sure I had physiotherapy close to me, and got me more money than I thought I'd get! At one point they even offered to bring some documents to me in London through one of their partners because I was there for my child's surgery, when my case was actually in Windsor. These people have very little compassion for their clients and are horrible at communicating properly. My partner was hit by a car back in 2015 and has cognitive issues and since been dealing with ongoing problems as a result of the accident. He was always waiting to hear back from these people. They would send a letter once a year, that was it. They had my contact number but not ONCE did they ever use it to contact him. Not ONCE. After hearing nothing for months, I contacted them to ask about the status and I was informed they had closed it due to "lack of interest and cooperation". If you have a disability that inhibits your mobility or understanding, DONT DEAL WITH THIS FIRM! They have no patience and dont know how to pick up a damn phone and contact their clients. They provide very little supports and their communication skills are atrocious. As if getting hit by a car running a red light wasnt bad enough, the performance of this law firm, and the lack of compassion displayed made us very upset. UPDATE: My partner requested his file, so he could have another firm represent him. After having a hard time with the secretary, the lawyer who handled his case came out and had no problems whatsoever giving him his file, only for the new law firm to discover that vital information was removed from the file. Upon further investigation, it seems as though they also had his information removed from the court's database as well. It looks as though the insurance company (of the driver who hit my partner) paid Diamond & Diamond off to remove any evidence of his lawsuit against them; since it was more than likely less money than they would have had to pay my partner. These people dont care about YOU, as a client, only the might dollar. Now my partner has no evidence of the lawsuit against them and a man gets away with hitting a pedistrian with his car and trying to drive off; because money matters more to these people!

08 June 2020 Finally received a settlement from the Ontario Tribunal. Equivalent to $50K . Girlfriend cannot work because she cannot move her arm over her head. This is a direct result of the accident. Opposing council tried to say that it was a pre existing condition because of a previous Worker Comp Filing that was never actioned. She is an unskilled worker but was making a living at Tim Hortons. Now she is on CPP Disability, can no longer pay rent, and is trying to find a care giver roll. She will likely end up being supported by the tax payers into her old age. Diamond and Diamond was a poor choice for representation. 2017 Diamond Law is a referral service. My girlfriend was broadsided 24 months ago and was given a referral to a para legal in Brampton. She was asked to go to many Doctors and asked a million questions. As it turned out it was the other litigants insurance company making the requests. Finally the para legal asked why she had done that and that was about 10 months after the accident. It has been eight months with no answers to questions or correspondents. All voicemail has not been returned. My girlfriend has not been able to go to work, has no money left and cannot support herself. And of course no response or help from Diamond and Diamond. Do yourself a favor and do your homework. Look around , even to another city if you have to. 23 May 2018 Went to an appointment with the Lawyer. Found the office we were referred to is UL Injury & Disability Law , they informed me that yes the were in association to Diamond and Diamond but our agreement was with UL Injury & Disability Law. They also said that their Paralegal had left the company 8 months earlier and the the case Lawyer had left 4 months earlier and that this was the reason the case sat dormant. But a new lawyer was now assigned. He updated the information on our file. When we met with him he seem to be learning the case from my partner and myself. I had to wonder who would be paying for these 2.5 hours we sent with him for UL Injury to "re-learn" the case.

Diamond law has proven to be extremely gready and money hungry. They did not bother to proceed with my claim because TJ the lawyer said that we did not have any broken bones and will not bother to proceed making a claim. So in order for me to have had a claim I would have had to have a broken bone. That sounds like a greedy trade. TJ the lawyer was very unprofessional and judgemental towards my families situation. I will be spreading this about diamond law to as many people as possible. I will be sure to warn people of this unprofessional company. Do not bother with diamond law unless your limbs are hanging off your body.

Had a accident back in February 2016 , got in touch with Danial Diamond the very next day. They looked after all the paper work making sure the forms to your insurance company are fill out completely and correctly. Got into pysio therapy within 3 days using there reference. Dan got me home care right away also, The most important thing to me was anytime I contacted Dan they returned my emails or calls within one day always! I got into car accident and i went with diamond diamond i regret till this day. Somebody hit my car n Im not able to work and have pain that will stay with me forever i have to take medication for daily. They dont care about you as a client at all they dont call you at all to keep u informed so bad that you forget u have a claim even going. They are for the insurance company they are not for the client. they set u up with physio that is not real physio n it actually make you worse off. They dont check street cameras when they could have they just tell you i take your case and do next to no work. Why do clients have to think of ways to win your own case when u hire a lawyer for them to think about it. Tried to use real estate lawyer for reviewing my offer before firm signing,didn't get back to me for more than 5 business days and when i called ON DAY 7 the clerk asking for any news said she doesn't know if the lawyer looked at it or not. this is almost could cost me that the developer withdraw the accepted offer and resell it again to me with the new increased priced for the house as we didn't got back to them on time plus moving closing date to later time than one was on the offer. Diamond & Diamond and all other Insurance companies - designed to fish you and hook you up with promises you the world, protection, justice and they will make you feel they are on your side / protecting clients interest. But that's not true. Just be careful no one is on your side / you are on your own. Do not sign any docs agreement before you read, their 33% fees plus all other non disclosed disbursements charges / fees will take your 80% to 90% of any settlements offered by the insurance company and you will be left with peanuts / pain of the accidents. Probably, they are making some money from other Insurance companies to settle for less also, who knows whats going on. On the other hand Insurance companies are all investors, insurance policies are designed to safe guard their own interest - investments and they don't really care you live with injuries or you die - they only care to receive their premiums every month. They will spend thousands of thousands dollars to the lawyers, doctors, Physios to delay the process - drag you for 3 - 7 years. During that process either you forget or got tired to settle for less, they would not pay their clients directly. Its all crazy world, tow truck guys, collisions centers, their own appraisers are milking them Millions of dollars a day - but they can't catch them / you should know the system - inside out - its all organized white color mafia.

She did say it would be Diamond & Diamond or another trusted law firm which i was fine with. The same girl called back 2 hours later and left a message that just said "The lawyer said no" What kind of garbage is that? Your website says contact you for a free consultation. What kind of a consultation consists of answering a few questions to some girl at a call centre with an attitude? Consultation is the Action or process of formally consulting or discussing. Put it this way; The insurance company got $42,000 from my accident, I ended up with $7,000 and my life has been hell ever since the accident. They do NOT care about their clients at all. Based on my family’s personal experience, Diamond and Diamond is an absolutely superb personal injury law firm that I would recommend in a heartbeat. My mom suffered a very unfortunate and critical injury as a result of a vehicle accident. Not happy with the way the real estate lawyer handled my condo purchase closing day. He let his admin support handle the case during closing day. The buyer's lawyer did not receive the payment on time and they left office for the day. Since my closing happened on Friday, I had to wait until Monday to receive the keys. My lawyer should have step up and contact the other lawyer himself to at least allow me to get the keys. This resulted in additional cost on my end, the contractor scheduled to come on Saturday had to be rescheduled last minute. During the entire time I was dealing with the firm, I never verbally communicated with the lawyer. Everything was done via email. I was only able to talk to his support team.
