Here you have the opinions of real people who are purchasing the services and products of Yeager Employment Law (Attorney) in North Vancouver (Canada).
Now the business gets a rating of 4.4 stars over 5 and this score has been based on 33 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is really good, and it's founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we can think that the assessment is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

Jay Spiro provided sound advice and guidance. Don't hesitate to go with Yeager Employment Law. Thanks Jay!
I worked with Jay Spiro and I have nothing but positive things to say. Jay gave me the complete low-down on what I needed to know regarding my situation, and he provided clarification whenever I needed it. He was understanding in a pricing consideration I made, and most importantly, has me feeling completely confident in my knowledge of what needs to be done between me and my employer. Thank you.
My 2 consultations with Mr. Yeager and Mr. Spiro resulted in extra benefits beyond what my employer offered. The initial offer looked reasonable and it was, but, I am glad I reached out to them, not only for a peace of mind, but also additional gains in the end. No matter, how great your employer can be and has a good reputation, company HR offers may not be that generous and open to further increases. I would recommend Yeager law firm if you need help.
During a difficult issue with my employer, I was referred to Julianne Yeager. From the moment we met, her extensive knowledge, professionalism and kindness were apparent - I knew I was in good hands. The process took a few weeks to resolve, and throughout she was responsive, respectful and incredibly compassionate. I feel very fortunate to have gone through this process with Julianne, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and Yeager Employment Law.
Very dishonest lawyer. He said I had a easily successful claim but he cost me thousands of dollars.
I had a great experience with Bob Yeager a few years back and returned for this reason. I recently had some issues with transparency and fees with another lawyer but at the end of the day, they handled the situation professionally and worked to resolve the problem and even worked to implement new practice so it doesn’t happen again. I didn’t end up working with them for this reason so I cannot comment on an end result but I trust that they have their clients best interest at heart and will work to resolve issues (which is important). I have heard good things about them from others and I trust my issue was hopefully an isolated incident.
MH. My experience with Karen Chan was super positive, knowledgeable, patient! I could not have chose better person for my case. Karen explain everything to me and answered all my questions. For me my case was resolved in 8 days. I would certainly not hesitate to recommend Karen Chan, and Sandi her administrative assistant and Yager to some friends that will be soon in the same situation as me.
I met Julianne at a talk she gave to a group of young professionals on the importance of living and working with integrity and in line with deeply held beliefs. Impressed by her knowledge and positive outlook, I knew this was someone I could trust, and so immediately spoke to her about a difficult work situation that had left me unemployed for reasons beyond my control. Julianne and I worked together for 6 months, and during that time I was deeply impressed by the sharpness of her mind- her advice was always based on case law that she knows like the back of her hand. Julianne’s tenaciousness and strength of character-she was always ready to pull me up when I was ready to buckle-are embellished by a deeply caring disposition. All these traits, along with her deep love for justice and truth, ensured a successful outcome. I would recommend Julianne and Yeager Employment Law a million times over!
Fast response time and great advice
Very rude receptionist and imperfections. Thumbs down
After half an hour useless free consulting , you be encouraged to take the payment consultation with them and then you should pay for every minute which you talk to them, then you understand in the real court the first free consultation is unevaluable and if you ask any any question by email regarding first session they charged you by Saving your credit card information. Don't stuck yourself in swamp.
Yeager Employment has a fantastic reputation in employment law in vancouver area, and the firm did not disappoint me at all. From the Customer service desk to "the great Lawyer'' Brendan Harvey who assisted me and worked through some difficult negotiations with my Ex-employer following a wrongful dismissal without cause and without notice. Brendan Harvey worked with me to ensure that I fully understand the issues, the risks, and presented the various options. At the end of the day, the firm provided me with fantastic advices, and I thank them for their professional assistance. Brendan Harvey on behalf of Yeager employment was incredible. Ultimately I chose the firm because he took the time to fully understand my concerns during our first meeting prior to me hiring them. Fortunately for me, I made the right choice! The Yeager Employment Law firm are not only very supportive and extremely knowledgeable about all facets of employment law, they are amazing litigators. Words cannot describe how highly I think of Brendan Harvey as a lawyer. Although a great lawyer, he also treat you as a person, not as just another client. He had my back the entire way, and it’s nice to have such dedicated lawyer on the Yeager Employment Law team. I’ve met with different lawyer at first, but my choice was with Brendan Harvey who is definitely very special and unique in his commitment to me as a client. The experience was amazing as a whole. As he worked hard on my case quickly. I knew I was in good hands the minute I contacted them and met with him for the initial 1 Hour. They treated me with respect, and kept me well informed the whole time. Most importantly, even though I was not the highest paying client, they always treated me like I was. I faced a financial difficulty through the process and Brendan was a huge help with his understanding and commitment to the case. We reached a settlement at the end that was satisfying. Thanks a lot Brendan. I definitely recommend this Firm and Brendan Harvey for all your employment issues.
Very nice people to deal eith
Excellent customer care from entire team in the office. I worked with Julianne and she is amazing. She is very kind, sweet, empathetic and knowledgeable. She always went above and beyond for me. I always refer to her for anything that I need. I really trust her and her team.
I had a great and wonderful experienced with Julianne Yeager of Yeager employment law firm. She is extremely professional, caring and kind. She explained all the possible options with my case and give you all the respect whatever the decisions you’ll make but you can count on her to guide and support you. I was so blessed to meet and work with a good christian heart lawyer like her. She works and treats you like a friend. The Yeager Law firm is highly recommended if you’re looking for a great christian law firm.
I recently was downsized from a job I really cared about. Jay, from Yeager Employment Law, walked me through my options and what I was entitled to receive. Jay was kind, compassionate and determined to work for me. Thank you.
Our experience with Karen Chan was so positive! At our initial meeting, we went away feeling that Karen was not only professional and knowledgeable but respectful. She treated us as though we were people she had known all her life. She provided us with all the information we needed to make decisions that were in our best interest. And she explained all of our options thoroughly and answered all of our questions. We would not hesitate to recommend Karen Chan to anyone that has been confronted with an unjust dismissal.
I've had an outstanding experience with Stephanie Korour of Yeager Employment Law, she took the time to explain all my options as well as the process for me to understand the possible outcomes and make the best decision for my situation. She is very professional, kind and caring. I would highly recommend Stephanie and Yeager Employment Law if you have been wrongfully dismissed.
I highly recommend this Firm as the first and premier choice for employment law. Julianne Yeager is an experienced, knowledgeable and sound lawyer with invaluable legal advice which helped me in my situation. She helped make my challenge run smoothly and become less-stressful while taking the time to fully understand the details and delicacy of the nature of situation. I am so grateful for her professional service and expertise, and happy that I selected her Firm.
I have a great experience with Julianne. She is resourceful, knowledgeable, approachable and kind. I feel looked after very well by her and her team.
I have sought the counsel of Robert Yeager and Karen Chan on two different occasions. On both occasions they provided me good service that was both very effective and extremely efficient. Their service was well oriented towards my best interests and they conscientiously approached my file by focusing on providing maximum value in their service provided. They were able to quickly evaluate my circumstances, provide me a quick legal crash course, and a cost/benefit risk analysis of the various options/outcomes. This gave me great peace of mind in what is generally stressful and unfamiliar territory. I was able to in one instance take the info received from their assessment to successfully renegotiate the terms of my contract. And in the other, as a result of the crash course that I had previously received from them, I had a good understanding of what reasonable notice I could expect when my employment ended unexpectedly. Which gave me the knowledge and confidence to attempt to negotiate these terms with my employer. When at an impasse, Karen Chan was able to successfully carry on the negotiation to a fair outcome while maximizing value to me, by being both efficient (in respect to time invested vs. results) and by identifying the point when I would likely be spending equal money on her fees to any increased value that I may get in the settlement. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending their services to anyone in my network that may require an employment lawyer.
Professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and patient. When I was wrongfully dismissed by my former employer, I contacted a number of employment law firms to seek help. When I spoke with Karen Chan of Yeager Employment Law, she immediately provided helpful tips to deal with my situation. With her help, I was able to reach a quick settlement with my former employer. I was impressed by Karen's sincerity. She cared for my emotional well-being which eased my anxiety and minimized the stress. She worked tirelessly on my case and provided me with sound advice and analysis. Karen guided me throughout the process and I am very grateful for her representation. If you need an employment lawyer, I highly recommend Karen Chan. A great young lawyer!
I had a very bad experience with Yeager Employment Law. I checked all the great reviews on Google and I deeply regret I went to them for help. When I tried to make an appointment with them I called the reception and was told that somebody would call me the next day. Unfortunately, I did not receive any call so I phoned them back. It was a time sensitive matter and I needed a prompt advise. They scheduled me with Julianne Yeager 4 days later. When I finally got to the office Julianne had some important court case going on (apparently my case was not that important) and she cancelled. The sent me to see Brendan Harvey. I had an impression that Brendan wasn't fully interested or engaged in what I had to say. He did not ask me many questions trying to understand what my issue was. I didn't feel very comfortable talking to him. After my meeting with Brendan I tried to pay for the service but unfortunately, they did not accept credit cards. They sent me an email regarding payment methods the minute I stepped into the office! Very professional! Anyway, the next day I emailed them to remind of emailing me the invoice but I haven't heard back :-( Six weeks later(!) I received a letter invoice with charges twice the amount I was due to pay. So I called them again and did not hear any apologies. The receptionist just said that there was an error and they would issue another invoice. 2 weeks after that I got the correct invoice. I would never expect such unprofessional service from a Law Office! I just want to warn other people before they step into Yeager Law Employment.
Best thing that i ever did at this troubling time for me. From the moment I entered the office i was treated with respect and everything was explained to me every step of the way. I have the upmost respect for Robert Yeager and Jay Spiro. I highly recommend this firm if you unfortunately experience such an occurrence.
When I was wrongfully dismissed last year, I asked Yaeger Law to help me with this matter. I worked with Julianne Yaeger, who I found extremely professional, efficient and kind. I was always given the feeling that my case really mattered, and that I was taken seriously, even though I was not looking for a huge settlement. Emails and phone calls were promptly attended to, and office staff was very friendly. When I was offered a reasonable settlement by my former employer, Julianne encouraged me to accept the offer instead of pushing me to take my case to trial, which I believe a lot of other lawyers would have done, since my case was very clear cut and chances were quite high to win in court. However, due to my personal circumstances at the the time, I preferred to accept the settlement and Julianne understood this. Overall, I would highly recommend Yaeger Law!
I went to Yeager Law's website and submitted a query as a family member was being constructively dismissed. The next day Bob actually called me to speak about the situation for about half an hour which surprised me as most lawyers don't ever do this for free. He was personable and very empathetic towards the situation as well. He then told me to email him the employment contract for him to take a look which I did. He got back to me right away the same day after he had viewed the contract. I could tell he really knows what he is talking about and is genuine. Thanks for all your help Bob.
Julianne Yeager was able to review my employment offer on short notice. She gave me great insight and was very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend her for any employment matters!
Like most things in life, not all lawyers are created equal. Jay Spiro of Yeager Law certainly proves that. Jay not only advocated for me against my former employer, he was one of the few employment lawyers who agreed that I did in fact have legal rights against my former employer. In one efficient and well-worded email, Jay swiftly achieved the settlement I had hoped for, indeed obtaining the best outcome possible on my behalf. If you are an employee facing an unjust dismissal, I highly recommend Jay Spiro: unbiased, fair, and an entirely competent legal advisor. The legal profession could use more Jay Spiro’s – one of the few who honor his calling to the Bar.
They are so helpful, kind and understanding
My experience with Karen Chan exceeded my expectations! She was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about my legal issues. She was very thorough and caring and always took the time to explain all of my options to me. I was very pleased with the results. I would, without hesitation, recommend Karen and Yeager Employment Law for any employment needs. Sandi, the administrative assistant was always a very warm and welcoming face as well, she is the perfect person to make a great first impression.
I meet Robert Yeager sometime in June 2018 when I was looking for legal advise regarding my termination from my employer. During that meeting, we discussed the out look of my case and he assigned me to one of the lawyers from his law firm. This review is an update of my gratitude and satisfaction with Mr. Yeager’s firm. Mr. Brendan Harvey, was the lawyer Mr. Yeager assigned to my case, Brendan exceeded my expectation. The last 10 first month were not easy for me and my family. It was a year of emotional and physical distress. Mr. Harvey's dedication, patience and attention to detail are impeccable. His quality of work really helped overcome the personal challenges during this process and I felt blessed to have him represent me in court. I could not have been able to do it without him. Mr, Yeager could not have given me a better lawyer. I recommend Mr. Brendan Harvey and Yeager law Corporation to any person that is in a desperate need for legal advise. They are caring, compassionate, dedicated, ethical and professional on what they do. Mr. Brendan Harvey always looked for my best interest. Regardless the ruling of my case, which we will be in a month from April 15, 2018, my family and I will always be grateful with the help given by Yeager law firm. Overall, we are happy and satisfied with their team especially the services provided by Mr. Brendan Harvey. Respectfully H.V.T UPDATE: I am happy to update that the Judge found my former employer engaged in unfair, dishonest and callous behaviour towards my dismissal such as baseless allegations made to the BC Labour Relation Board. Therefore, the judge ruled I was wrongfully dismissed. Thank you again to the excellent work, dedication and professionalism from Yeager Law Firm, especially from Mr. Brendan C. Harvey. It was not until the trial I learned the true reason for my case.
